After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 306: Chapter 307: Jiao Yang’s Guidance [4]

Tickets for a flight like this can’t be purchased on the spot, Jiao Yang must have been planning to fly to Shanghai as well. Given his status, it was normal for him to be in first class. This really was a genuine coincidence.

If she had known earlier, she wouldn’t have hesitated to swap cabins with Yu Tong.

Muttering resentments in her heart, Luo Xiaoqian lowered her face to look at the worksheet and stopped paying attention to him.

Jiao Yang glanced at the worksheet in her hands, ”An interview? Handling media interviews is something I’m quite good at. Would you like me to teach you a few tricks to avoid getting twisted up by reporters?”

A flicker of interest crossed Luo Xiaoqian’s mind, but her gaze remained fixed on the worksheet.

Looking at her profile, Jiao Yang opened his mouth with a smile, ”I’ll tell you, it’s really quite simple. You just have to remember one rule—smile. Just like the martial arts masters in novels, smile with a sense of calm and unpredictability.”

Smile?

Luo Xiaoqian turned her face towards him, ”Aren’t journalists known to be persistently inquisitive?”

Having never been interviewed before, interviews were indeed what she worried about the most.

”How about this?” Jiao Yang suggested with a smile. ”I’ll play a reporter, and we’ll do a mock interview. How does that sound?”

Luo Xiaoqian didn’t immediately agree, but eyed him warily, ”You’re not trying to dig up information on me, are you?”

This guy has always been unpredictable, and just like Leng Zimo, he was cunning. She had to be cautious.

”If you come across a question you don’t want to answer, you can just not answer it,” Jiao Yang said with a shrug, his tone devilish, ”Don’t you think this is the best real-world practice?”

After a moment’s thought, Luo Xiaoqian felt that he did make sense and nodded in agreement.

Jiao Yang picked up a newspaper provided on the plane, rolled it into a tube, and held it out to her as a makeshift microphone, ”Miss Luo Xiaoqian, may I be so bold as to ask your age?”

”20 years old.”

”Then can you tell me your birthday?”

”November...” She was halfway through speaking when Luo Xiaoqian suddenly stopped, ”A journalist wouldn’t ask this kind of question, would they?”

”I was just asking casually, consider it a warm-up!” Jiao Yang chuckled. ”Miss Luo, in this era full of diverse talents, what do you think is the most distinctive feature of your single?”

Luo Xiaoqian thought for a bit, ”It might be its storytelling aspect. This single is from an online novel, a deeply moving love story. Those who have read the novel will visualize the touching scenes upon hearing this song. Even those who haven’t read the novel can understand it just by watching the music video. Personally, I feel it is not just a song. It portrays a kind of love, a love based on mutual trust and cherishment. Such love is becoming less common in this era.”

”So, does Miss Luo believe that such love exists in the world?”

”I do!”

With a change in tone, Jiao Yang asked, ”Miss Luo replies so confidently. Does that mean you already have a boyfriend?”

”I...” Luo Xiaoqian blinked, ”No.”

”I recall that during the ”Huaxia Idol” semifinals, President Leng Zimo of Emperor View Group had previously misunderstood and hurt you, but later, he personally gathered various pieces of evidence and publicly apologized to you in front of all media. This was the first time Mr. Leng had done such a thing since his debut. Could this also indicate that aside from your professional relationship, there is something more personal between you and Mr. Leng?”

Luo Xiaoqian glared at him, ”No.”

”Then, may I ask, what is your opinion of Mr. Leng Zimo?” Jiao Yang asked, smiling.
