After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 243: Chapter 244 You’re Probably Going to Be a Grandfather Soon [10]

”Orders are conflicting, I’ve decided to execute the first one!” Leng Zirui stealthily shifted his legs.

”Hold it!” Leng Lin stood up and walked to his side, ”Tomorrow, you’re going on a blind date, this time, I made it clear in front of your mother, if you dare to play dumb with me again, I’ll immediately transfer you to logistics.”

Leng Zirui turned around and threw himself onto his mother’s grave, starting to cry.

”Mom—— Do you see? He’s bullying me again...”

This time, however, Leng Lin remained unmoved.

”Unless you can actually cry your mother out, otherwise, you either go by yourself, or I send someone to drag you there!”

Leng Zirui stood up with a smirk, ”It’s a tradition among us Chinese to respect elders first, as such a traditional man, how can I rush ahead of my elder brother? I assure you, the moment elder brother gets married, I’ll immediately bring you a daughter-in-law!”

Leng Lin glanced at him, ”Now, with your mother also here, the claim you made last time that your brother has a girlfriend, was it true or false?”

”Of course it’s true, I might lie to you but can’t lie to my mom, right? You’ve listened to that recording last time, knowing my brother’s temper; could I have faked it?” Leng Zirui squatted upright, pointing at the scattered grass and leaves beside the grave, ”Look at these grass blades, if my brother had been the one to touch them, they would have all been removed in one swoop, so they wouldn’t be scattered like this. It’s clear that these were plucked one by one. What does this tell us? It suggests that besides my brother, there was another person here just now. I deduce that this person must have discovered these grass blades while elder brother was cleaning the tombstone, and out of boredom, plucked them one by one. To notice these untrimmed blades of grass, it must have been a woman!”

Leng Zirui picked up a stem of grass from the ground and presented it to Leng Lin, ”You yourself come from a reconnaissance background; these are not fabrications, right?”

Leng Lin’s gaze swept over the few stems of grass scattered on the ground. Given the current situation, his second son’s deduction seemed very sound.

No one knows their child better than a parent; Leng Lin, of course, was well aware of his cold-hearted son’s temperament.

Leng Zimo was very close to his mother, and it was unlikely he would bring just any woman here.

This woman must be very important to him!

”In my opinion...” Leng Zirui squinted his eyes, idly twisting the wild grass in his hand, ”Before long, you’re probably going to become a grandfather!”

That night, he had witnessed Leng Zimo’s heroic rescue.

Although Luo Xiaoqian didn’t see him sitting in a corner of the private room, he had a clear and detailed view of her.

As a former reconnaissance soldier and now head of the Special Eagle Falcon Squad, Leng Zirui naturally possessed extraordinary observational skills and a keen sixth sense.

He had long determined that Leng Zimo had taken a liking to Luo Xiaoqian.

Today, he brought her to the cemetery, which indicated that there had been significant progress in the relationship between the two.

A man and a woman alone, wouldn’t it be normal for that kind of thing to happen?

For his elder brother to have been single for so many years, it would’ve been strange if he could endure!

Thinking of his ”sister-in-law” who was slender, Leng Zirui merely chuckled softly.

Leng Lin glanced at his younger son, and spoke again, ”Don’t try to pull these roundabout tactics with me, tomorrow you...”

”Oh right, I just remembered, I have an urgent mission...”

Ignoring Leng Lin’s furious stare, Leng Zirui’s body flickered, and he leapt up as swiftly as a cheetah pouncing on its prey; he deftly jumped down from the edge of the slope, and after a few bounds, vanished behind the tombstones in the distance.
