After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 208: Chapter 209: The Final Gambit [10]

The steel pipe struck the stair railing, echoing shockingly loud in the hollow building.

Bang!

Bang!

Bang!

With each sound, Luo Xiaoqian’s heart would tremble, and her body would tense up a little more.

The footsteps were getting closer and closer.

Luo Xiaoqian bit her lips tightly with her teeth, gripping the beer bottle in her hand.

The tattooed man came upstairs, took a glance around, and continued forward.

Suddenly, a clap of thunder boomed, and lightning flashed, revealing Luo Xiaoqian curled up in the corner.

The tattooed man turned around, looking at the terrified face of Luo Xiaoqian, his face breaking into a devilish cold smile.

”Little girl, were you waiting for me here?”

”Don’t come any closer!” Luo Xiaoqian stood up with her back against the wall, gripping the beer bottle in her hand.

The tattooed man glanced at the beer bottle in her hand and chortled, ”Didn’t expect you to be such a tough chick, let me tell you, brother here likes conquering wild horses!”

He dragged the steel pipe closer step by step, his face twisted with a fierce grin.

In fact, he had never taken Luo Xiaoqian seriously, how much strength could such a skinny girl have?

The steel pipe dragged across the concrete floor, making a painful screeching noise to the ears.

Luo Xiaoqian kept retreating step by step.

At last, she was cornered.

The tattooed man reached out to grab her arm, and Luo Xiaoqian swung the beer bottle furiously.

With a loud crash, the beer bottle shattered against the pipe, the end turned into countless fragments that splattered everywhere, leaving only a jagged half of the bottle, one of the pieces flew out and cut a gash across the man’s face.

”Motherfucker!” The tattooed man wiped the blood off his face with his hand, his expression turning grim, ”Dare to hit me, let’s see if I don’t tear you apart!”

He rushed at Luo Xiaoqian, reaching to grab her hair.

Driven by the instinct to survive, Luo Xiaoqian swung the half beer bottle in her hand with all her might.

Slash!

The man’s shirt was ripped apart, revealing several cuts beneath the divided flaps.

Bowing his head to examine the wounds on his body, the tattooed man’s face became even more terrifying, and he swung the steel pipe at her forcefully.

Luo Xiaoqian instinctively shrank back, the pipe swept across her left arm, and the mobile phone in her left hand was flung away with a snap, landing on the ground.

Missing with his strike, the tattooed man swung the pipe again as Luo Xiaoqian hastily retreated and fell to the ground; the pipe grazed past her hair.

Right at that moment, the screen lit up again.

It was a call from Leng Zimo.

Hearing the ringtone, the tattooed man was taken aback, then he stopped his assault and stomped down hard.

The mobile phone cracked open, silent without a hint of sound.

Upstairs, footsteps hurried, and the others who were searching separately had heard the commotion here and were rushing over.

Looking at the seated Luo Xiaoqian, clothes clinging wet, face stricken with panic, the men all revealed lecherous smiles.

”Don’t come any closer!” Luo Xiaoqian tightly clutched the half of the beer bottle, pointing at the men, then suddenly turned the bottle around, pointing it at herself, ”If you come any closer, I’ll kill myself!”

Surprised, the men all turned to look at the tattooed man together.

The tattooed man looked at Luo Xiaoqian, pulled out his mobile phone and said, ”Brother Li, this little girl wants to kill herself, what should we do?”

The boss wanted her alive, and if she really died, they would have to explain themselves. Of course, they still needed to ask for instructions before making any decisions.

On the other end of the call, Li Defu’s voice was as hard as stone.

”Keep an eye on her, I’ll be there soon!”
