After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 204: Chapter 205 Hotel Crisis [6]

After all, these journalists knew his temperament; at most, they would snap a few photos, then go bother actors like Qin Lan instead.

However, the situation went beyond his expectations, and the journalists showed a clear interest in him.

”Mr. Leng, regarding Luo Xiaoqian’s private meeting with the high-level executives of Asia View Group, what’s your take?”

”That’s right, Mr. Leng, you previously mentioned that Luo Xiaoqian was about to release a single, but now there are rumors about her and the high-level executives of Asia View. Does this indicate that she hasn’t signed with Emperor View yet?”

...

Luo Xiaoqian’s private meeting with the high-level executives of Asia View Group?

Scandal!

Leng Zimo raised an eyebrow, his pace slightly slowing down.

By this time, everyone had reached the exit, and the journalists immediately took the opportunity to surround him. The staff behind him, seeing the ominous signs, hurried forward to keep the journalists at bay.

Ignoring everyone’s questions, Leng Zimo went straight to the exit under the staff’s protection and got into the car waiting outside.

He had just sat down in the car when Ailin’s call came through.

”President Leng, check out the NetEase Entertainment headline!”

”Is it about Luo Xiaoqian?” he asked coldly.

”Yes, I just saw it too!”

Leng Zimo hung up immediately and went to the news page.

Sure enough, at the top of the entertainment news, there was a photo.

In the photo, a man and a woman were in an embrace, the woman being Luo Xiaoqian, and the man was the one he had seen before who wanted to take Luo Xiaoqian away.

Skimming through the content below, Leng Zimo’s fingers gripping his phone instantly tensed, producing a crisp cracking of knuckles.

”Luo Xiaoqian!”

...

...

Hotel bathroom.

Luo Xiaoqian turned off the tap and wiped the water from her face with a towel when she heard faint voices from outside as if someone was opening the door.

She opened the bathroom door in confusion, only to see President Li, who had dined with her earlier, swaggering in.

Luo Xiaoqian’s expression changed immediately, and she demanded harshly, ”How did you get in?”

”Me?” President Li pointed to his nose, let out a proud laugh, his face grotesquely bloated with fat, ”I own this hotel, so how could I not get in? Let me tell you, Luo Xiaoqian, in this territory, there’s nowhere Li Defu can’t enter. Tonight, whether you like it or not, you’re keeping me company!”

”Get out immediately, or I’ll call the police!” shouted Luo Xiaoqian.

”Call the police?!” Li Defu burst into laughter. ”Don’t bother, even the Chief of the Municipal Police Department calls me Brother Li when he comes here. Don’t believe it? Use my phone to call!”

He strode forward, casually taking off his jacket and reaching out towards her waist.

”Brother Li has always been kind to beautiful women; don’t worry, I’ll take good care of you tonight...”

”Get lost!” Luo Xiaoqian slapped him across the ear, turned around, grabbed her bag from the washbasin, and ran for the door without bothering with her coat.

But as soon as she opened the door, she was confronted by two tall and burly men who rushed up to her and grabbed her arms.

”Help...”

She had just cried out, and one of them had already covered her mouth with his hand. She bit down on his palm.

Slap!

A sharp slap rang across her face, and Luo Xiaoqian saw stars flashing before her eyes, blood flowing from her nose as she nearly passed out.

In the struggle, her body was already being hoisted up by the two men onto the bed, her arms and legs pulled apart by the two men, exposing her in a humiliating spread-eagle pose.
