After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 214: Chapter 215 You Won’t Go By Yourself! [6]

Looking at this strange man, Luo Xiaoqian still instinctively felt a bit of aversion.

After passing the porridge bowl, Leng Zimo slightly sat up straight.

”Go out and wait for me!”

Valuing romance over friendship, did he really have the mood to watch them being lovey-dovey here in the future?!

Huangfu Ao scoffed inwardly and turned to walk outside the door.

Holding the bowl in one hand, he used the other to scoop a spoonful of porridge, blew on it to cool it down, and then brought it to her lips.

With only the two of them in the room, Luo Xiaoqian’s nerves relaxed, and she reached out to take the porridge bowl.

”I can do it myself!”

”Really?”

Leng Zimo asked softly.

Luo Xiaoqian nodded.

”Alright!” Handing the porridge bowl to her, Leng Zimo carefully stood up and placed her on the couch, carefully positioned her injured leg on the footrest beside her, and covered her with a blanket, ”Then eat by yourself, I’ll step out for a moment!”

Luo Xiaoqian, holding the porridge bowl, hesitated.

Clearly, she didn’t want him to go.

The events of last night had left too deep a shadow; she was far from fully recovering emotionally.

Leng Zimo knelt down, and tucking her disheveled hair behind her shoulders, said, ”I’ll just be outside the door, which will be left open, so you can see me anytime, alright?”

Luo Xiaoqian met his gaze for a moment and then nodded lightly.

”I’ll be back quickly!”

Smiling and caressing her face, Leng Zimo turned and walked towards the door.

Stepping into the hallway after opening the door, he glanced back to see her eyes following him, he smiled at her, left the door wide open, and stopped outside, giving her a gesture to eat.

Only then did Luo Xiaoqian start to eat the porridge, but her gaze still occasionally drifted towards the door.

Leng Zimo stood at the doorway, ”How is it?”

”All taken care of, I’ve already sent someone to take your car to Beijing’s 4S for repairs!” Huangfu Ao raised an eyebrow, ”Speaking of which, it’s more than three hundred kilometres from Beijing to here, and you made it in less than two hours, how did you drive?”

”Just drove it!” Leng Zimo said indifferently.

”You’re incredible!” Huangfu Ao peered over his shoulder to glance at Luo Xiaoqian, who was looking at Leng Zimo once again, ”The girl’s been quite shocked, should we arrange a psychologist for her?”

”No need!” Leng Zimo immediately refused.

A psychologist?

He knew all about those people with their hypnosis, suggestions, nothing but smoke and mirrors. Many psychotherapies insisted on re-experiencing traumatic events, and he preferred Luo Xiaoqian to regard the previous day’s events as nothing but a bad dream.

”Whatever you say, I was just suggesting!” Huangfu Ao glanced at his arm, ”You can’t drive anymore. When do you plan to leave? I’ll arrange for someone to take you.”

”In a little while!” Leng Zimo turned his face to look at Luo Xiaoqian, who was eating porridge, ”Go and buy her a set of clothes, the underwear size is...”

Huangfu Ao immediately frowned deeply, ”No way, you don’t expect me to do it yourself!”

It was one thing to deliver breakfast for her, but for him, a grown man, to buy women’s underwear?

If his subordinates found out, where would the face of the Iron-blooded Chief be?

”Cough!” Leng Zimo coughed lightly, ”Just the other day it seems Uncle Huangfu called me, saying he wants me to introduce a girlfriend to you, or else, how about you come back to the Capital with me for a blind date?”

”Leng Zimo, don’t go too far!” Huangfu Ao growled, facing the sharp look from Leng Zimo, ”Fine, fine, I’ll call and have them deliver a set of camouflage clothes, is that okay?”
