High School of Demon Hunting

Chapter 2965: Chapter 1183: As You Command

Soon, under the arrangements of the professor and other staff members, the young wizards in the First Hall orderly exited, making the auditorium feel suddenly more spacious, accompanied by the colorful beams of light in the air becoming even more dazzling.

The legends silently stood behind the headmaster.

The ancient beings quietly wandered around the auditorium.

The atmosphere in the hall seemed to drop sharply with the departure of the young wizards. Zheng Qing dared not breathe heavily out of nervousness. Leviathan was even exerting effort to minimize his presence, as if lowering his head by just one millimeter would make him less noticeable.

The sir did not speak immediately.

Instead, after a brief thought, he reached into the void, pulling a giant figure into the First Square: ”——You should come over too.”

The figure staggered and fell onto the iron-gray floor.

Zheng Qing instantly recognized it as the Giant God Soldier ’Primordial.’

This enormous being, which possessed Legendary Combat Power and had tangled with his ’Taiyi’ in the Cloud Sea World, was at this moment as helpless as a puppet in the sir’s hands.

Moreover, whatever means the sir had used, ’Primordial’s’ size was now reduced to about ten feet high. Although Zheng Qing still needed to look up slightly, it was much better than its previous mountain-like appearance.

”——A true wizard will continuously explore unknown realms.”

The sir’s calm voice echoed in the First Hall, invigorating Zheng Qing’s spirit. He withdrew his gaze from ’Primordial,’ pondering how the sir might handle Montreya:

”——Different perspectives lead to different unknowns. For a low-level wizard, discovering a new herb, finding a new use for dragon blood, or spotting a new star is unknown to them. But for a high-level wizard, attempting to find commonalities between different paths is the real unknown.”

At this point, he glanced at ’Primordial’ in front of him, slightly emphasizing his tone: ”For a high-level wizard, even exploring the starry sky is permissible, let alone conducting demon flesh transformations. That’s why the school hasn’t completely banned your laboratory. However, due to public opinion considerations, such experiments should be deeply buried in the silence of unknown worlds and not widely publicized... Your first mistake was exposing the reality of high-tier world to the low-tier world. ’Othello’s Balance’ not only applies between White Ding and Wizard, but also between low-level and high-level wizards.”

Zheng Qing’s eyes flashed with confusion.

Because he felt the sir’s attitude seemed a bit different from what he expected? Why bother saying so much? Shouldn’t he just strip off Montreya’s ’skin,’ and return ’Primordial’ to Sister Korma?

”——Secondly, power that you cannot control is not true power; it’s merely reckless momentum and violence.”

The teacher’s voice continued to echo in the silent hall, with both the ancients and legends quietly listening to his words: ”Destiny arranged your encounter with Order, because Order could help you curb chaos... yet you chose to embrace chaos. So you lost your physical body and are trapped in this corpse. Now, I must ask you again, do you regret?”

In court, before a judge makes a final ruling, they also ask the defendant if they regret.

This probably relates to the sir’s educational philosophy.

Zheng Qing mentally reassured himself.

From the moment he was pulled into the First Hall, Primordial—or rather Professor Montreya—had remained silent, took a deep breath, and did not answer the sir’s question directly:

”I remember a Grand Wizard in Great Britain named Saint Bede once said—life is like a crow flying through the Silent Forest, coming from the darkness and entering it again, with only a bright fleeting moment, the flapping wings during its flight amidst the world’s cacophony is what we must seize——this is my only chance to flap my wings.”

Implicitly, he shows no regret.

Strip off!

Strip off!

Zheng Qing shouted internally, strip this unrepentant fellow of the ’Primordial suit’! Let everyone see if his soul is just as dark as a raven!

Ordinarily, the teacher who could occasionally hear his inner thoughts seemed unaware of the noise at his ear.

”A firm belief is one of the most valuable qualities of a wizard, but excessive stubbornness is a precursor to madness.”

The sir sighed lightly, looking at Montreya who also had a calm gaze: ”Your third mistake was bringing outsiders to the First University... I can forgive the first two mistakes, but the third one is unforgivable.”

Upon hearing the words ’outsiders,’ Zheng Qing couldn’t help but slightly tilt his head, glancing at Leviathan standing on the other side, wondering how the sir might handle Them.

Death?

Somehow, for Professor Montreya, death might be a form of relief.

This time, it seemed the sir heard his inner voice.

”——Death is a gift, freeing you from pain and worries.”

The teacher uttered a phrase he once said to Zheng Qing earlier and then delivered his judgment: ”Therefore, I won’t grant you death... but I will help you repent.”

Saying this, he reached out to Zheng Qing.

The young wizard froze for a moment and then woke up, respectfully handing the law book in his hands to the sir.

The teacher opened the law book.

Picked up the pen.

Lightly drew at ’Primordial’s’ brow with it, dipped in His brow’s blood, then inscribed four characters in the book:

”——Command: Obey.”

Violet runes, like four great dragons, rose from the book pages, spiraling and chanting, finally sinking into ’Primordial’s’ body. In the flicker, those four dragons seem like four chains, passing through many acupoints in Primordial’s body, ultimately resting in His Mud Ball Palace, the violet light receding, making Primordial appear unchanged from before but Zheng Qing knew, the real Professor Montreya was already locked in eternal darkness.

This is indeed a good method for helping people reflect.

Zheng Qing’s spirit subtly uplifted.

Not because the teacher’s concise command inspired imagination in him, but simply due to the joy of saving a fallen soul——especially since that law book was his own.

Meanwhile, he quietly checked the thickness of his law book.

He began to ponder how many names could be written in that book.

On second thought, he felt a pang of worry.

Montreya is a professor at the First University, the Giant God Soldier is the University’s property, so the sir can deal with them without much objection from the other ancients.

But if the sir were to record all the wizards who illegally entered Buji Island into the book, it might provoke severe backlash.

At the very least, Miss Bubble from the Starry Sky was already showing signs of vigilance at this moment.
