COTE: A Man On A Mission || Love is War?

”Go borrow a pair of sunglasses first. Come to think of it, I have never experienced life with a bodyguard.....”

”You are such a nuisance!” It was obvious even Ibuki would complain after this.

At the same time, she also realized that Hikigaya probably wanted her to be a bodyguard for the time being.

But Shiina also told her that she was arranged to team up with Hikigaya Hachiman for this exam in hope that she could help deal with any troubles if they encountered any.

Then let her be a bodyguard.

Therefore, current result did not deviate from the task she had to complete.

So, Hachiman waited for a while, and Ibuki went to find the staff and went to the store to borrow sunglasses.

”Have you had lunch yet?”

”No,” Ibuki answered honestly.

So that’s it. Then let’s go eat first.

The facilities and equipment on this ship are free, dining and borrowing items are too.

Then of course you should order the expensive set meal. Hachiman took out his cell phone.

[Alice Restaurant’s seafood buffet, roasted lamb legs, fried leeks and oysters are delicious.]

[The mango sago served at the outdoor bar on the deck is absolutely a try! ] by Amasawa Ichika

’Compared to Kamuro-san, this Kouhai is still very capable. Although she left school, still didn’t forget her job as a gold medal taster....’

”Then, let’s go have some seafood at noon.”

”Seafood? As long as you don’t eat mantis shrimp, I have no problem with that. I don’t like things that look prickly. But I have to go to movie this afternoon.”

”....” Hachiman couldn’t open his mouth again, because Ibuki used the word ”have to go to the movie” instead of ”want to.”

’That is to say. Does Ibuki still remember her hobby of watching all the movies that were played at school?’

As for the afternoon, Hachiman plans to sleep in dormitory, so he probably won’t go out.

So, two of them started walking towards the restaurant recommended by Amasawa now.

However, when passed by a foreign restaurant, they unexpectedly saw 4 students from Class 2A inside.

Two of them were acquaintances.

But now 4 of them are all wearing their casual clothes.

Sakayanagi’s in a white princess dress with a black beret.

Looks quite cute.

Kamuro-san was wearing a normal sports suit, but she had the same look of disdain for everyone that she had seen when she first entered school.

She looked tallest and most slender. And there were two girls talking to Sakayanagi.

One of the girls seemed to be type who didn’t have many opinions, and her profile looked somewhat sexy.

Another, a more individual type.

Hachiman didn’t know many students in Class A, so he couldn’t recognize the other two girls besides Sakayanagi and Kamuro-san for a moment.

”Yamamura Miki, Ai Morishita.” Ibuki suddenly said, doing her job as a bodyguard.

’Did Ibuki actually look at the grade roster and memorize everyone’s information like Horikita and Kushida? Of course not!’

What Hachiman saw was that Ibuki took out a tablet, and then flipped through photos of people in Class 2-A one by one, and then found reason.

’This child is really honest. But you have been in this school together for a year, and you should know these students in same grade!’

You are looking at the scenery upstairs, and people who are looking at the scenery are looking at you.

”It seems like Hikigaya Hachiman just walked over.” Ai Morishita said while reporting the situation to Sakayanagi.

As a member of Sakayanagi faction, she certainly knew that little princess often ate with a boy with dead eyes.

There are also rumors that two may be dating.

But their emotional intelligence is higher than Yahiko’s at the beginning.

No matter who Princess Sakayanagi’s partner is, as long as he is recognized by Sakayanagi, must have his own unique qualities.

Facts speak louder than words.

Although Hikigaya looks like a delinquent, he gives people a completely different feeling after wearing glasses, and even has a very reliable temperament.

Other party is indeed capable.

He once led the bottom Class D to counterattack and drive out A. It can be said that all students in class A were impressed by him.

And now, other party has gone back to Class D.

Then he shared exam scores and rewards with Princess Sakayanagi, ”Are we giving up too much in this exam?”

Because their class also gave away everyone’s prop cards.

As a student in Class A, Morishita still thought that prop card for hitchhiking could be bet on.

’So this is giving a large amount of benefits to Hikigaya Hachiman. Then, we got the Lead card, prepared to stockpile points, and then sell the supplies using private points. It is possible to turn rules provided by exam into living expenses. At the same time, because it is an extraordinary period, price increases are also acceptable. And if you do it well, you can make a lot of money. But the procedures and steps required are also very cumbersome. Because each person can only put one of the same prop card. So whether it is exchanging materials or using prop cards, people need to arrange it.....’

”You have to know your limits, Morishita-san. And we lost the chance to take the initiative. There’s nothing we can do about it....As soon as the exam rules were announced, I arranged for Kamuro-san to contact Koenji-kun, but it was still too late in terms of timing. So we can accept the bitter consequences now.”

There are two reasons why Sakayanagi is not going to continue to participate in Hachiman’s betting on the first place.

On the one hand, she comes from a wealthy family and does not need to accumulate too many points in school to work hard for the future.

On the one hand, she has a special identity, as she is Daughter of Chairman Sakayanagi.

Although her father was taken away for investigation, the current chairman is Tsukishiro, who is just a deputy in name.

’But if you gain a huge amount of points from it, will also have to bear a negative impact. Therefore, very important to grasp the degree and measure. Moreover, Hikigaya-kun must have been planning this for a long time, and I think he is looking forward to it. As a person with high IQ and EQ, I certainly won’t interfere. Especially, at the beginning, I failed to buy Koenji Rokusuke, the wild man. If I had bought him when exam rules were just announced, it would have been fine, but I didn’t, so I lost the initiative.....’

Sakayanagi wouldn’t like being at a disadvantage from the start. So, immediately sent Morishita-san away as to not spoil her good mood.

”So do I still need to follow Kushida-san recently?” Yamamura, who was waiting for report on the other side.

Miss Yamamura has a low presence, which makes her very suitable for tracking spies.

And after she entered school, Sakayanagi had been arranging her to do these things.

The person to follow might be someone from another class, or someone Hikigaya-kun is close to.

”No need. There will be a 14-day exam next, and as a class that resells supplies, we still have a hard job to do next....”

”I understand,” Yamamura nodded, as if she had been pardoned, and went back to do her own thing.

At least, her stuttering was going away.

While watching her two classmates leave, Kamuro-san did not.

Because she is Sakayanagi’s right-hand man.

Since, owner was still here, there was no reason for her pet to leave.

At the same time, she is someone who understands Sakayanagi better.

’Sakayanagi ended the conversation so quickly just now. According to my understanding, I actually felt that Yamamura and Morishita were getting in the way....’

”Do you want me to call Hikigaya over? He shouldn’t have gone far by now.....”

”No need, he should have seen me just now, but because I was busy, he was very polite.”

”.....” Kamuro-san. ’It turns out that you were not listening carefully to your subordinates’ reports just now. There is no hope for those who fall in love.....’

Because enjoyment on the ship is free.

So, Hachiman and Ibuki-san had a hearty meal.

”What do you want to do?!” Ibuki’s identity as a bodyguard came in handy.

Just as they were about to leave the restaurant, Ibuki keenly noticed someone was watching them, and then 2 senior students walked towards Hachiman.

”We are students from Class 3B.”

The two senior students who came over said politely.

”Actually, it’s Kiriyama-san who hopes to talk to Vice-president Hikigaya...”

Calls Hachiman VP. So, have something to ask of you.

Hachiman then followed the other party to meet Kiriyama, who is former vice president of student council.

’Initially, he was used as a tool by Horikita’s brother to suppress Nagumo, but the reality was very harsh.....’
