COTE: A Man On A Mission || Love is War?

There was also a library on the ship, and she noticed two books with cat patterns placed in a conspicuous place, so Yukino borrowed them.

But before could see it, Amasawa took her out to see the sea.

“It’s really outrageous that a class of high school students can enjoy such a luxurious trip.....!” However, faced with this situation, even Yukino couldn’t help but sigh.

Because she was telling the truth.

For a cruise ship like this, a ticket alone would probably cost hundreds of thousands.

However, the school invited all students for free.

On one hand, it was to serve as a means of transportation to take students to uninhabited island for the exam, and on other hand, it was to fulfill promise of giving the students a two-week luxury trip after the exam.

The expense involved is terrifying just to think about.

The school’s financial resources are truly amazing as it can afford such.

Snap——

At this time, Yukino noticed a girl with pink and somewhat rustic twin ponytails holding a camera.

“Look! Someone is taking pictures of seagulls,” Amasawa cooed excitedly, her eyes shining just like a little girl, taking everything into perfect memories.

“If there’s nothing else, I’ll go back first....” Yukino is not used to or good at getting along with others, and she has always been a loner in the past.

“Oh, come on...Yukinoshita-san, is it really okay to be so unsociable?” Amasawa loudly tutted at her, but her next words were found even more outrageous, “I deny your existence!”

“I don’t think being sociable is necessarily important,” But Yukino was a cold woman both inside and outside her heart, “You say being alone is really bad? How can you understand the joy of an introverted fish if you are not fond of being idle and live alone?”

“.....” Amasawa was speechless.

Then Yukinoshita left with a boom, flicking her hair in a cool manner.

Not far away.

“I always feel like that junior school girl is very similar to you, Horikita-san!”

Also on the deck, a little angel with medium-length golden hair said as she felt the sea breeze blowing towards her.

This is Kushida-chan.

Normally, during this time when she seems to be playing, she would be with her best friends.

But now Kushida and Suzune are on the deck together.

Because she knows very well that if she relaxes now, things will be bad when the exam starts because she is not able to concentrate.

We got on the bus at school gate at 8 o’clock in morning, arrived at port two hours later, and then boarded the ship.

It will sail for a day and a half, and then on 8th everyone will be arranged to go to an uninhabited island for the exam.

So it’s too early to relax now.

After all, there is a 14-day special exam coming up.

“I don’t think there’s anything wrong with being alone. Because I’ve been alone since elementary school, and if you count kindergarten, it was even longer.”

This is Horikita Suzune.

“.....” Kushida-chan. ’Although Yukinoshita is alone, she doesn’t need anyone to accompany her. But Horikita-san, you are still a little bit behind....’

Kushida looked at her phone and clicked on the GPS location. ’It seems that Hikigaya-kun has been staying in his room. That’s why I couldn’t find him even after I came to the deck.....’

Kushida noticed there were more students on deck.

A girl with beautiful golden hair also came out.

That person is... Nanase Tsubasa.

Hikigaya’s arrangement for her to collect item cards with 1st-year students in Class D was not purely for show, because he also assigned her a task in private - to spy on Nanase’s information.

In other words, she should be allowed to use her expertise to gain insight into Nanase Tsubasa’s inner thoughts.

And now, have obtained 70%.

Then Kushida’s gaze involuntarily turned in direction of Nanase Tsubasa.

On the one hand, Kushida’s way of obtaining other people’s secrets is to make friends with them, and this kind of friendship means treating everyone equally, so she realized that Nanase was going to do something in this uninhabited island exam.

Because she knew her secret and knew that girl was still carrying the grudge of her childhood sweetheart’s suicide, so Kushida was actually worried about her.

On the other hand.

’Hikigaya-kun collected so many prop cards just to place a bet before the exam and choose first place in group that Koenji was in. But this is only in theory. In reality, exam takes 14 days. So, there may still be variables. Therefore, no matter from which angle, we need to pay attention to this Kouhai to prevent her from becoming a variable that affects everyone’s points.....’

From this point of view, Kushida-chan has a very high emotional intelligence.

“Then Horikita-san, go back to your room and read. I’ll go contact Tsubasa-chan again. I’ve been to the library and borrowed some textbooks. I don’t think you’ll object.”

“.....” Suzune glanced at her. ’I always feel that Kushida-san has become like Hiki--Hachiman, as if got nothing else, so just arrange for me to read a book. Although, I didn’t hate reading, but always felt that I was being treated easily.....If it was a normal exam like this, Kushida-san shouldn’t be by my side. But Hachiman is now in another class, so it’s not a good idea to go look for him at this time.....I am still too weak now.’

Suzune went back to her dormitory, and read like usual.

Hachiman stayed in the dormitory arranged on the ship for a while.

After finishing reading the novel “Into The White Night” he brought with him, prepared to leave the room to find food.

As a sophomore, he is already familiar with the examination process.

Therefore, you can enjoy your life while waiting on the ship to go to exam destination.

However, as soon as he opened the door of the dormitory, he quickly closed it.

“....” Hachiman.

Because he found a girl with short blue hair standing at the door.

The other person’s posture was like she was standing guard. Just to make sure, he wasn’t dreaming

“Click.”

Hachiman decided to open the door again.

But outside, there was still a girl with short blue hair standing there.

Occasionally, other students would pass by and look at this place curiously, but the girl with short blue hair did not look away.

“....” Hachiman.

It seems to be correct.

Hachiman opened the door 3 times in a row to confirm other party was really on guard.

This school is all about strength and points.

So as long as you spend a little bit of money, you don’t have to live in a dormitory with two classmates.

He is alone now.

However, it was strange there was someone standing at his door.

So, Hachiman decided to get straight to the point, “I don’t think I need a doorman here.....”

“But if I really calculate according to your betting method, then I got too many points this time,” Ibuki’s response was just so unexpected, and easygoing.

But, Hachiman understood.

’So, as one fifth of 10% of points to be obtained, does Ibuki feel that she has obtained too many? Then she feels that she has gained too much and is uncomfortable, so just comes and does what she can do?’

“Speaking of which,” Hachiman thought about it, opened the door and let Ibuki come in to talk first.

“During the uninhabited island exam last year, Ryuen arranged for you to be spies in other classes, and then he used a trick to inflict pain on you,” Hikigaya-kun was very curious, and wanted to know, “How much did Ryuen pay you in total?”

“Money?” Ibuki looked at him strangely, “What money? Isn’t this for the sake of getting points for class? Why is there such a thing as a reward?”

’Tsk tsk. Not a penny was spent? You were clearly a spy, and you got punched in the face several times. It seems that you are still too kind...But, it shows why Ryuen cares.’.

Hachiman originally felt somewhat guilty about only giving an extra 50,000 points reward to each of the ordinary students in Class D of second year for this exam.

But now it seems that Ryuen is much darker than him, Hachiman still hasn’t fully integrated into this class.

“Then you should stay with me for the time being,” Since he asked about Ibuki’s time as a spy last year, Hachiman thought of Karuizawa and Kushida’s underwear.

As for this classmate Ibuki, she still has a small notebook to record his accounts.

That is, she sneaked into Class C and stole Karuizawa’s underwear in an attempt to cause chaos in class, but Hikigaya-kun suffered greatly because the other party put her taboo subject in his bag!

’And this was undoubtedly a frame-up by Ibuki. Why? Can’t you frame anyone but me? Do you think I am the kind of person who would do such a bad thing?’ So this grudge is recorded in Hikigaya’s little notebook.

’But at this time, I should not ask the other person why she stole Karuizawa’s underwear and put it in my bag.....’ Hikigaya has a lot of dark history and doesn’t want to PTSD again at this moment.

Besides, there is a reason why Hachiman plans to take Ibuki with him.

’That is, Ryuen can often be seen with Albert, who wears sunglasses and looks like a bodyguard, which makes Ryuen feel strangely proud. Is it really that interesting?’

Hikigaya-kun is a little curious, and Ibuki now feels guilty about taking too much money, so it should be okay to experience it occasionally.

“Go borrow a pair of sunglasses first. Come to think of it, I have never experienced life with a bodyguard.....”

“.....” Readers.
