COTE: A Man On A Mission || Love is War?

”Compromise is an important lesson.”

”Then I do need to make some changes,” Yukino said with her head down. ’If there was ever a time when I would hit my head since coming here, I have done it now....’

Yukino was thinking that maybe her sister wanted her to change, so she let her in here.

So, compromising and trying to change may be what she needs to do now.

”No need to change.” But then she suddenly heard, ”Just be yourself.”

”???” Yukinoshita Yukino looked over in surprise. ’Are you an esper?!’

But Hikigaya-senpai just continued to run his mouth, ”It is always difficult for gentle and correct people to survive, because this world is neither. But if you know you are right, then there is no need to change. There is a saying that there is only one kind of true heroism in world, and that is to continue to love life after recognizing the truth of life. And if you think you are right, there is no need to change immediately.”

”.....” Yukino didn’t reply immediately; she was thinking about what the other person said.

This world is neither gentle nor right.

This sentence...Yes, gentle and correct people always live an extremely difficult life.

Yukino was bullied by girls in elementary school.

However, the reason she was bullied was because she was excellent.

She couldn’t understand those people. If they were jealous of her, then why didn’t they become stronger themselves, but instead colluded with each other and tried to drag the outstanding people into swamp.

This is what she didn’t understand.

At the same time, she also believed that she was not wrong.

Hasn’t she always hoped... to become as outstanding as her sister?

She knew that her sister was very good, but also very fake.

It’s like she’s wearing a hard exoskeleton that everyone likes, so everyone will like her, but that’s definitely not the real sister.

It’s because she is useless that her sister has to take on identity of the heir.

She had to get stronger.

Until her sister recognized her and she struggled free from the shackles of being an heir.

So, can Yukino really stick to her ideas? ”I’m not sure what I’m thinking right now. But I will think about it seriously.”

”Is that so? Then take your time.” ’So, what kind of job did you find for me, Chabashira-sensei? This is something that only a psychologist can handle.....!’

If Yukinoshita Yukino is a friend of Hiratsuka Sensei. Then he really couldn’t stand idly by.

After all, he could stay here, and even obtain a large number of points, have living expenses for rest of his life, and even funds for marriage, all thanks to the recommendation of Hiratsuka.

It was like he was embarking on a path that was completely different from his original path but had a bright future.

He hopes to repay this kindness.

”Hikigaya-kun!” At this time, a voice came from not far away.

It was a delicate girl with beautiful straight silver hair who greeted her, ”Can you lend me Hikigaya-kun first?” she said to Yukinoshita.

”.....” Yukino again felt like something was wrong in this girl’s eyes, ”I don’t have any special relationship with him. He was teaching me just now.”

’You have nothing,’ Hiyori-san blinked. ’But the atmosphere you had just now was pretty good!’

Shiina-san was so scared that she thought Hikigaya had found another marriage partner!

So, Hiyori and Hachiman walked towards 3rd-years’ private room together.

Hikigaya-kun is going to go 3rd years to collect protection money.

Price will be much higher than that of first and second grades.

It would be a bit lonely to go alone, so we need to bring someone to support the occasion.

In the past, Hikigaya-kun always brought Suzune with him.

Hachiman is now a student in Class D, so the people he will be taking with him are also from Class D.

Unlike Ryuen or Hosen who went to collect protection fees, coming to the third grade has a different meaning.

It is to bring hope to third graders.

In other words, it is a matter of increasing popularity.

So, Hiyori volunteered herself! She is also ambitious.

The probability of her class D graduating from A is 0%, but if she collects 20 million points, she can also graduate from class A.

So, follow Hikigaya-kun and learn from him. She should also collect 20 million personal points as soon as possible.

The two walked into 3rd grade private room.

Other side.

’Although, I am still sitting alone at the dining table.’ But Yukino was in a daze for a few minutes.

But finally, girl stood up.

”President Sakayanagi.” Yukinoshita Yukino opened the GPS on her phone and found the location of target.

”Um?” Sakayanagi is still in the private room.

”I would like to offer you a deal.”

”• | •” Sakayanagi.

???

”What deal? If you mean the item card thing yesterday, then I can’t change it. Because it has been processed and has gone to where it should go.”

”That’s okay. I don’t deny this exam and cooperation with your Class A. It will be good for us. But, I feel like what our class pays for isn’t equal to what we get.”

”Oh?” She saw the determination in Yukinoshita’s eyes, ”Do you think chips I offer you are not enough? Do you even know the value of a secretary position?”

”Yes, In other schools, the position of secretary is very common, but it is very different in this school. It is said that previous student council president also started as a secretary when he first joined.” Yukino said neither humbly nor arrogantly.

”• ’o” Sakayanagi. ’~fufu~So you actually want to be the president!’

She discovered ambition of this Yukinoshita schoolmate.

”Since I’m only a freshman, I can’t confirm the exact value of this position. But, I think students in my class can get one more position here because Senpais’s are collecting Hitchhiking and additional item cards to double down on their bets. The person we’re betting on is this human.”

Clicked on an interface.

This is data interface of Koenji Rokusuke from Class C, Grade 2.

Academic ability A+ (94)

Athletic talent 98 (A+)

Intelligence C+ (60)

Social Contribution C (50)

Final evaluation B+ (75)

”Senpai, do you think it would be a good idea to release news that Koenji Rokusuke-senpai shone in last year’s special exam? Then what will the other students who still have Hitchhiking and Additional Item Cards think? Even if you don’t keep these prop cards, the price will double, or even increase. Then cost for seniors to collect will rise too!”

Then she waited quietly for the student council president to speak.

In other words, although Yukinoshita Yukino had to compromise as representative of first-year Class A, she did not give up completely. ’Don’t forget to argue your case. So I came to ask for a big patch!’

”....” President Sakayanagi did not agree immediately. But she looked at the black-haired female schoolmate in front of her.

Sakayanagi told other party yesterday that she would take away the prop cards of her class.

Yukino mentioned it in class group, and the result was a compromise from her classmates, and then she accepted it.

’But now, very strong. Where did this kid get the boost of energy? The firepower increased so dramatically in an instant!’

She gave Kamuro-san a look.

”She had lunch with Hikigaya.....”

”Bastard!” Arisu cursed loudly outside her heart, ”Here, I thought he would go to visit 3rd graders!”

So, after school in afternoon, radio became live.

”Please ask Yukinoshita Yukino and Amasawa Ichika from 1st-year class A to go to the student council.”

The two of them got positions of secretary and discipline committee member respectively.

At the same time, two also met senior Kikyo Kushida, who also got position of student council’s sinecure, the discipline committee member.

”Kushida-senpai, we meet again!” Amasawa was very polite. She seemed to be in a good mood, ”Please give me your guidance.”

”.....” Kushida-chan.

???

’Who could tell that I had received a big gift from Hikigaya-kun? I got the chance to become a member of student council, but since it was a sinecure, I didn’t have to do any work, but I had the title of a council member.....It looks quite wonderful.’

Kushida-chan admitted that she really liked this kind of famous and dazzling stuff.

So, she thought that Hikigaya-kun was deeply fond of her in his heart.

’Obviously, I have already got a good job. Why do I still want to be with this school girl?!’ Suddenly, Kushida-chan felt this position was not so attractive anymore.
