COTE: A Man On A Mission || Love is War?

Sakayanagi’s very greedy today.

“I will arrange for first-year Class D to take on the places for last five groups, even including those who dropp----”

Oh! Oh! Oh?

The bottom five groups will be expelled.

If they do not want to, each group will have to pay 6 million private points, and the bottom 3 groups will also have their class evaluation scores deducted.

’Although I feel that my class will not fall into the range of the five most unlucky groups. But it is indeed reassuring if someone takes over the most dangerous parts in advance....’

“400,000 points. One Hitchhiking card + additional card. I’ll arrange for someone to collect them. You have to give me 400,000 points to match them.....And the price of the trial card is 500,000. In exchange, you have to arrange your people to collect the Lead cards. At the same time, material points of bottom five groups of first-year students Class D that you prepared will also be transferred to us at a low price.” It can be seen that Sakayanagi has a lot of demands.

However, if you do the math, these costs aren’t much.

Although reselling materials can earn money, this amount is not enough to sway him.

Besides, this kind of thing can satisfy Sakayanagi’s appetite, so it’s worth it.

“Well then,” Hikigaya-kun smiled softly, “It’s a pleasure to work with you.”

Extended his left hand toward....

“.....” Sakayanagi who seemed to be just stunned for a few seconds.

Then quickly reacted to cover her flustered state up, stretched out her small, fair hand and held Hikigaya’s left one.

But Sakayanagi’s hands are very small, so they got completed overshadowed, it’s like being hidden.

The touch is a little different from Kushida’ whose hands are soft, but her small palms seem very cute.

Since the deal was done, Hachiman quickly left the room.

It wasn’t Sakayanagi’s treat today, he didn’t go to get the dessert.

“....I held hands today...fufu.”

“• •” Kamuro-san who is watching everything with her very own eyes.

When Hachiman left the room, he unexpectedly found two acquaintances.

The only difference was that he was getting off the elevator while they were getting on.

Neither of them noticed him.

One is a beautiful girl with pink and blonde hair, and other has beautiful straight black hair.

They are Ichinose Honami and Horikita Suzune.

How did these two sophomores, who are ranked No. 1 and No. 2 in terms of looks, get together?

Ichinose and Suzune are currently discussing. To be specific, it should be this special exam.

Both parties obtained rules of this special exam from their class teachers.

Then, Suzune first learned from Chabashira that top three in exam, once team up with people from other classes, will receive rewards according to.....

Although she is now in Class C of the second year, Suzune knows that she climbed up from D.

In the last sports exam, there were several members in class who ranked in the bottom ten.

So if you don’t look anywhere else, you have to look at these people...see if there is any way to avoid falling to last few.

According to students in her class.

“I don’t want to drop out of school!”

“Horikita-san, please think of a solution! You are our leader, right?!”

“Koenji, why don’t you team up with us? I will give you my adult magazine stash!”

“Sudo, I want to team up with you!”

“Hirata-kun, please help me!”

“K-Kushida-chan, you are an angel, right? You gotta pair up with me!”

After Chabashira announced, students in class didn’t react much at first, and then after they finally understood rules of the exam...immediately exploded.

So, her class was a mess.

Although, Suzune actually has another plan, which is to consult Hikigaya-kun.....

Bro...Really?

But Hikigaya-kun had just left the class today, and it was not good for her to go there immediately in such a miserable state.

Thank God!

After all, her brother had said that if Hikigaya left the class, then what she had to do was to work hard and then go to where he was.

Then in such a situation, she was contacted by a person.

Ichinose Honami.

“How are you still growing? I don’t understand the amount of flesh you intake. You should consider dieting Ichinose-san, if you want to be healthy after graduation.”

“.....” Ichinose. ’Y-yeah, she’s Horikita-san alright who don’t care about breaking other people’s hearts!’

According to Ichinose, should we work together on this exam?

When she first entered school, Hachiman formed an offensive and defensive alliance with her and Ichinose’s class.

But when the scores of two classes became close, it ended. But now, we can still proceed.

“Ah, look it’s Sakayanagi-san!” Ichinose quickly changed the topic from about her getting more fat, she came up from the elevator and when passing by a private room, took a look inside and noticed Sakayanagi Arisu sitting inside, “But her face is a little red. Just like a bubble teapot.....”

However, neither of them paid much attention to it. After all, now was not the time to greet Sakayanagi-san.

So, two of them went to a private room a little further forward.

Sat down.

“So, what do you think, Ichinose-san?” Because Hikigaya-kun is not here, Suzune is a little nervous.

It was probably the first time she was alone, so she felt a little uncomfortable.

But there is no one to take the lead in class now.

Yukimura directly said that his physical fitness was at bottom and he was not worthy of commanding.

So, the only thing she can do now is... analyze combat capability of the class, then cooperate with Class B, and then achieve a barely acceptable result.

“.....” Ichinose who really didn’t want to think about it, and keep eating her cakes and pastries, “I don’t know what to say, Horikita-san....”

“• ? •” Suzune was confused, “Aren’t you the one who invited me for a talk?”

“Oh....Oh!” Ichinose whose bulb was a little outdated, hurriedly came to her senses, it’s not about food anymore.

That’s good news for her!

“Actually, we hope to team up with Koenji-kun,” Ichinose said straight to the point but she is still a naive child who will only get disappointed.

This was result of a long discussion between her and Kanzaki after learning the exam rules.

Koenji and Sudo are both C are using cheat codes of GTA 6, which didn’t even get release yet.

No matter which one we catch, there should be hope for top three.

Of course, if Kanzaki can catch him, we hope to do so. That’s why, Ichinose immediately came to look for Suzune during lunch break.

“If it’s Koenji-kun, it’s impossible. On the one hand, I can’t invite him, and provoking him doesn’t work. And then, he said that he has teamed up with someone else.”

Once a team is formed, it cannot be easily disbanded; a team is almost a foregone conclusion.

Is that so? But Ichinose was not completely disappointed.

She had already predicted that Koenji would be very popular, “Then...can I ask who was the first to approach him to form a team?”

“It’s Hikigaya-kun.”

“....” Ichinose was speechless, Is it really like this? “Okay, we can forget about ranking 1st place.”

“.....” Suzune who saw the difference.

The class that Hachiman went to Ryuen with suddenly became so big they rented out Koenji.

And guess Hachiman wants to help Class D get points. From this perspective, Class B is actually quite safe.

As long as Class A doesn’t continue to surpass them, still have a chance to advance to A, “So what about Sudo-kun? There is also a boy called Ayanokoji-kun.”

“.....” Suzune who realised this negotiating isn’t really going well for her, she isn’t cut out for this!

It seems that Ichinose has investigated students in her class.

However, Sudo and Ayanokoji had performed very well in previous sports, so it was normal for Ichinose to know them.

“Ayanokoji-kun has decided to team up with Yukimura-kun and Ike-kun. It has already been formed.”

Ichinose didn’t have tablet with her right now, but she knew Horikita Suzune wouldn’t lie.

But she also knew that Ike and Yukimura’s physical fitness should be very poor.

So, why did Ayanokoji-kun team up with them?

“Um, can I ask why they formed a team so early?’

You should know that deadline for forming a team is 8 o’clock on the 6th.

There are still more than 5 days left, So you can think slowly! It’s a bit anxious to form a team now.

“Ike-kun was worried that he would be expelled and fall into last five groups, and he didn’t have the money to pay 6 million points to avoid the expulsion penalty. So he begged Ayanokoji-kun to team up with him in front of whole class. He couldn’t deny it on the spot.....”

“….” Ichinose, what the hell is wrong with your class?! She wanted to file several complaints to Chairman’s office. ’Um....This class is indeed like that. Compared to possibility of getting points, you feel that protecting myself is more important....’

“So, is Sudo-kun still available?” Ichinose asked hurriedly, she felt like she had come here for nothing, and wasted a lot of time.

“He’s still available, and Hirata-kun is too. If you want him to pair....”

In other words, despite the current situation of Class C, Suzune still prepared some trump cards.

“Horikita-san.....” Ichinose wanted to throw hands, and beat her into a pulp, “Well then....Can we let them team up with Kanzaki-kun and Shibata-kun from our class?”

If this doesn’t go well....

“That should be possible.”

“Phew! I think Hachiman...Oh no, Hikigaya-kun should have joined forces with Class A!” Ichinose felt herself being threatened, when Suzune gave her a death glare, “Because this is an exam for entire grade, sometimes the strength of one or even two classes is needed. So, now we can only fully cooperate.”

Suzune had no objection to this.

Then Ichinose extended her hand, and Suzune glanced at her once more, she will overlook it for a mistake, realizing this meant she was happy to cooperate.

“The target is second or third place,” Ichinose felt the pressure of being number one was too great, besides it’s already a lost cause by now.

“Aim for second or third place.” Look, Suzune stretched out her hand and shook hers.

However, she always felt that shaking hands with girls was different from shaking hands with boys.

Suzune felt that Hikigaya-kun’s hands were a lot warmer.
