COTE: A Man On A Mission || Love is War?

Office of the Chairman.

“xxxxxxxx”

This is funding that Advanced Nurturing High School received this semester.

“There are plenty of funds.....“

The subordinate just reported that because of Tsukishiro’s proposal of a special exam for entire school, it will be held directly for two consecutive months.

The funds originally planned for two exams for three grades are very substantial.

So, budget for this month is quite sufficient.

“So after the uninhabited island exam is over, will usual assessment on the ship to increase students’ personal points continue?”

“Arrange it.” Tsukishiro is a person who is quite human. ’What Hikigaya wants is probably the school’s customary assessment with money after uninhabited island exam, which didn’t cost much, so the rest of the arrangements were easy....’

Obviously.

Mr. Tsukishiro had no experience working at Advanced Nurturing High School, and didn’t know that deficit could come so easily and so... quickly.

According to school’s plan, students will be arranged to gather at school gate on the 6th, first take a bus to pier, and then take luxury cruise ship they took last year to Uninhabited island.

On third night after the announcement of exam team formation rules, people assigned by Hachiman had basically completed the collection and processing of prop cards.

In the evening, in karaoke room, students from Grade 2 Class D were having a great time.

You can sing and have a free buffet.

What is particularly eye-catching is the crystal glass tower placed at the entrance.

But what was inside was not alcohol, but ordinary Sprite.

With some bubbles.

This is also a feature of Ryuen’s class.

Although they are in a karaoke room, they drink light Sprite.

However, atmosphere in this class has always been like this.

Ryuen’s plans are always notified to the whole class, and arrangements are also made by everyone.

As a newbie, Hachiman also adapts to the local customs. ’I don’t know if it’s an illusion, but Sprite seems to taste better when served in a crystal glass....’

The Ryuen class is having a dinner together.

Besides, it wouldn’t cost much to treat him to a meal like this. Especially since his classmates worked very hard, and in the end, he didn’t need to spend any extra money, so Hikigaya had no objection.

Shiina Hiyori, a classmate, was holding a small notebook and flipping through it to record her report.

“After more than 2 days of hard work, the spontaneous actions of first-year D class, actions of our class, cooperation of second-year Class A, and the information we got from 3rd-year Asahina-senpai. We have now obtained 33 first-year students’ hitchhiking cards, and all 30 first-year students’ additional cards. We can form 30 sets of betting prop cards.”

“There are only 25 Hitchhiking cards for the entire second grade, and we got all of them. We got 27 additional cards, which can form 27 sets of betting prop cards. And all 33 third-year Hitchhiking cards were obtained. The agreements for 33 additional cards that came with it were also obtained. So there are 33 sets of prop cards for betting.”

“There are still five Hitchhiking cards among the first-year students, who are unwilling to sell them, but Kushida-san helped to introduce and coordinate. The current response is that there is one card that can be purchased for 200,000 points.....”

In fact, from this perspective, Hiyori admires Kushida-san very much.

It’s really popular.

Because popularity of first-year D class is very low, even though motivation of students is there, are still some students who are unwilling to talk to them.

Then, Hachiman arranged for Kushida to help collect item cards with Nanase.

Then it can be so smooth. Even Ishizaki Daichi also took out a small notebook and started recording.

According to Hachiman and Ryuen’s idea.

The goal of this exam is to get a huge amount of private points, which you definitely can’t get in a normal exam.

But this time item card has a buff.

The core is Hitchhiking Card, a prop card that allows you to bet on a certain group before the exam.

Then at end of the exam, you can get half of the points obtained by this group.

“We are betting on the first place, which will get 1 million private points, and there will be additional rewards of 50,000 and 10,000 for top 50% and 70% respectively. Then, first place winner can get a total of 1.06 million. We bet on one group and can get half of 1.06 million, but because of the effect of additional card, points obtained can be doubled. So one group can get 1.06 million! And now there are a total of 30+25+33=88 matching prop cards, and an additional 3 sets of separate Hitchhiking cards. Then it is 106X88+53X3=94.87 million!”

“Ninety fucking million!” Ishizaki said excitedly. It should be said this was largest amount he had ever seen.

“There are so many.” The girl with short blue hair who was standing against the wall with a glass of Sprite in her left hand also exclaimed in surprise.

This is Ibuki.

One of Ryuen’s small teams.

When Hachiman comes to Ryuen’s class, he will take 70% of the points earned, and Ryuen will take two levels, one of which is for members of the small team that followed him in past and present.

The members are Hiyori, Kaneda, Albert, Ishizaki and Ibuki.

So calculate according to this remuneration. Ibuki can also earn nearly 2 million from this exam.

Of course, there are also points paid for purchasing item cards to be calculated.

However, part of the cost is covered by the protection fee, and part of it is sold to Sakayanagi Arisu, 3rd-year and 1st year Class D Lead Card.

But even so, it can be confirmed that everyone made a lot of money.

“Hey!” However, upon hearing such a number, Ryuen rubbed his forehead with a headache.

”What? Is this number wrong?”

“Of course it’s not right.” Hiyori said gently, as if teaching a small child, “Because, this is a normal situation. But what if members of the team that wins first place also carry additional item cards?”

”Huh?” Ishizaki was stunned for a moment.

“I will deliberately take command of 1st-year Class D, not just for tens of millions.....” Hachiman’s voice carries a lot of weight around the room.

Forehead. Wouldn’t you take action for tens of millions?

Wouldn’t you be shaken by tens of millions?

Although this sounds very perverted, everyone has witnessed it.

Because Ryuen was arranged to collect protection fees, then Hosen was also fooled a lot, even Hiyori was also arranged to collect protection fees.

For 3 grades combined, Hikigaya received a total of 600+600+800=20 million private points.

However, when Hikigaya received 20 million yen, he didn’t even look at it and directly used it as the fee for collecting prop cards.

“• ? •” This was Ibuki-san, who doesn’t know how to use her brain, “Since team member with the highest score also has an additional card, how much can we get after placing the bet?”

When Hiyori heard Ibuki’s question, she smiled, “If the bet is correct, then final set of props cards can get 106X2=2.12 million points! And there are currently 88 groups that can get 2.12 million points by betting on the whole set!”

At this time, people around had become completely quiet.

Not tens of millions, nor ninety million.

But...Hikigaya Hachiman, do you really have such a big appetite that you want 160 million?!

Perhaps they finally realized that betting on exam could bring such a huge return, so students in Class D of 2nd grade started to work hard.

Finally, Kushida-chan negotiated a Hitchhiking card the next morning.

Ishizaki and his friends also spent 260,000 to get another.

But there are still 4 hitchhiking cards that cannot be pulled in no matter what.

They are all in hands of students in Class 1-B.

The owner of one of them is an acquaintance, a junior named Yagami who had been staring alone downstairs of second-year dormitory every day for the past month.

Yagami Takuya.

A little fanboy of Kushida-chan.

Everyone says so.

However, Kushida-chan rejected him in front of everyone, and although the other party did not come downstairs this month, she received a message from a junior girl in Class B.

It seems that Yagami is willing to give the 4 hitchhiking prop cards in his hand to Kushida, but he hopes to meet her in person.

“.....” Kushida-chan almost cried on the spot after hearing such tragic news.

“This time collection of prop cards ends here,” So, Hachiman decided to stop. Then let Kushida continue to refuse to contact Yagami.

Yagami is also a student of WR, so there is no need to confront them head-on.

This is an exam that can be completed in one go and bring huge profits all at once, but you can’t let it fail miserably just because of a few people.

Kushida-chan was working hard to collect prop cards just two days ago, but the activity of collecting suddenly stopped.

This left those who still had some prop cards in their hands confused.

Because at this time no one came to continue acquisition.

Then everyone else had to follow the team-building plan step by step.

After all, team must complete the task by 8 a.m. on 6th at latest.

Now it is already, afternoon of 4th.

The students in Grade 2 Class D finally started to get down to business.

That’s teaming. After school in afternoon, everyone stayed in the classroom.

Hiyori is standing at the podium!

That’s right, she’s helping the class very much now!

Write names of the people who need to form a team on blackboard.

“Well, let’s start arranging the team now. Ishizaki-kun is in a group with Ryuen-kun and Katsuragi-kun from Class A. Because of the restrictions of the rules, our second-year students can only form teams of 3 people at present..And the fourth person, Kito-kun from Class A, will be added when exam begins and number of team members is allowed to increase.”

This was an easy task.

Ishizaki and Ryuen invited Katsuragi on the tablet, who responded immediately, and three of them successfully formed a team.

Katsuragi replied quickly, but it was not because he was looking at the tablet.

Instead, he was now in the classroom like 2nd-year D, waiting for application to form a team.

Because 2nd-year Class A has been busy collecting item cards these past two days, and Sakayanagi also has to collect lead cards, as well as buy up material points from students that will be distributed to them when the exams begin.

Because prop cards cannot be used across grades, and although a student can bind multiple cards, only one of the same is valid.

Therefore, a lot of tool people need to be bound.

And choosing who to be such person and how to manage is also a science.

That’s why Hachiman offered Asahina-senpai a commission of up to 200,000 points for binding a tool person. Just push all this troublesome work to her.

“Then Albert-kun, you send a team application to Mr. Koenji Rokusuke.”

”Yes!” Albert had no objection.

After giving greetings to Koenji, successfully formed a team quickly.

One thing worth mentioning is.

There are a total of 3 trial cards for 2nd grade, and they belong to Sanada from Class A, Kiyotaka from Class C, and Ryuen from Class D.

Among them, Ryuen gave his trial card to Albert. Be prepared to get 300 points for class.

However, surprisingly, Trial Card in Kiyotaka’s hand is now also in Ryuen’s.

But story goes that Kiyotaka gave the trial card to Koenji, who refused, so he sold it directly to Ryuen for 500,000 points.

You should know that trial cards are used in class evaluation scores, and points obtained can be increased by 1.5 times.

Koenji can almost be said to be designated first place. Then it is definitely possible to obtain class rating scores.

So it can bring more points to Class C.

But, Kiyotaka directly sold this card, it shows his attitude towards his own people.

This means... Mr. Koenji has also come up with some ideas. ’I don’t think it’s necessary to bring points to class.....’

“Hikigaya-kun...”

“Hikigaya-kun!”

At this time, Hachiman noticed that a beautiful silver-haired girl on the podium had her eyes completely fixed on him, “Do you have someone you want to team up with?”

Want to form a team?

“No, I’m fine with anything.”

“I see…” Hiyori nodded slightly and arranged for Ibuki and Komiya to come over.

Ibuki’s physical strength and fighting ability are both reliable. Her brain is not very good, so she is very easy to command.

Komiya was one of the members who had been arranged by Ryuen to carry out the fight with Sudo, and he was an easy-to-control and obedient person.

So Hiyori arranged these two people to come here, and need to pay attention.

For example...whether other party has specially arranged someone to protect you.

Although he felt that Shiina-san might be taking care of him, Hachiman was a polite person, so he accepted it.

Team formation completed.

Ryuen liked this kind of class very much, where he’s not the sole person to decide on everything, and has comrades who can use brains.
