Berserk God of War

Chapter 400: Chapter 400: Cut down the Vice-Chairman

What just happened was the Black Refining Dark Hook Claw, but now it’s a new Demon Skill he created after becoming demonized.

It’s a terrifying Demon Skill born from his own Blood Devouring Demon Beast Meridians following his transformation: Blood Devouring!

He has only created three claws so far, but they are two levels more powerful than the fully fleshed-out Black Refining Dark Hook Claw.

Moreover, this power truly stems from his demonization, hence the stronger synergy.

The first claw strikes...

A massive black claw, as if tearing through the Void, lunges towards Lu Shan opposite him!

Lu Shan’s expression drastically changes, as she feels fear sprouting within her at the sight of the Peak Martial Sect Realm Little Apprentice, but she refuses to believe it, screaming, ”Stop your pretense, I don’t buy it!”

Having said that, she swings her twin swords, creating a whirling cyclone of wind and fire, and fiercely collides with the gigantic black claw.

Lu Shan refuses to believe that Sikong Jing, who is only at the Innate Martial Sect Realm, could defeat her, who is in the Xuantian Third Realm.

But, when she comes into contact with the Demon Claw, her entire face changes.

Boom boom boom...

Her cyclone-like twin swords clash with the Demon Claw, creating a deafening roar, and finally, the Demon Claw dissipates, and she lands heavily on the ground.

But as she lands, she can’t stabilize her form and takes several steps back.

”The second claw, Blood Devouring Blade.”

In the moment she is unsteady, Sikong Jing’s ghostly voice echoes.

Another enormous Demon Claw manifests, this time with five claws outstretched straight, like five piercing giant swords.

The fear in Lu Shan’s heart intensifies as she unleashes two hundred percent of her True Qi, charging forward again.

Pfft...

The next instant, a piercing sound resounds, Lu Shan, although she shatters Sikong Jing’s second claw, is impaled in the shoulder by one of the claws, blood spurting wildly, with blood seeping from the corner of her mouth too.

Thud thud...

As Lu Shan lands, Sikong Jing takes long strides forward, the ground seemingly trembling with his movement.

”The third claw, Blood Devouring Demon Kill!”

The black giant claw forms in Sikong Jing’s hand, growing larger by the moment, and a tremendous killing intent surges towards Lu Shan, who clutches her shoulder.

Lu Shan’s complexion turns deathly pale as she stumbles backward in fear, her hair and clothes swirling chaotically in the Demonic Qi.

She has a feeling that if this claw were to strike her, she would undoubtedly die.

Suddenly, in a fleeting glimpse, she spots a middle-aged woman standing dumbly on a distant wall.

At once, Lu Shan brightens and calls out, ”Master Shi, save me quickly.”

Now, she couldn’t care less about the prestige of being second-ranked in Fire Dragon Mountain; she was about to die!

The person standing on the wall was indeed Master Shi.

She had led Sikong Jing into the Inner Court and even pointed out the direction to the confinement room before preparing to help Institute Master Huo Yanmei take control of the Fire Dragon Mountain Inner Court. Yet soon, she sensed the aura of battle coming from the direction of the confinement room.

Thinking that Sikong Jing might be in danger, she immediately rushed over.

But what she saw was Sikong Jing, at the Peak of Martial Sect Realm, nearly killing Lu Shan, and he wasn’t just using the Fire Attribute Martial Techniques and Cloud Attribute Martial Techniques he had shown before.

This time, what appeared was a Dark Attribute Martial Technique.

Master Shi stood stunned, jolted into a shock until Lu Shan’s cry for help reached her.

She didn’t dare delay, considering Lu Shan was Fire Dragon Mountain’s second-ranking apprentice, and Sikong Jing couldn’t be allowed to kill her just yet.

Master Shi leapt through the air in a flash, appearing immediately in front of Lu Shan.

Then she blocked Sikong Jing’s Blood Devouring Third Claw, shattering the giant claw into fragments, as the Demonic Qi dispersed like smoke into the air.

However, in that instant, Master Shi felt a profound tremor throughout her body, shocked once again.

This claw doesn’t resemble the power of someone at the peak of the Martial Sect Realm at all, the density of True Qi within it is simply too abnormal!

”Huff, huff...”

Meanwhile, Lu Shan, who had been saved by Master Shi, was gasping for breath, her life barely hanging by a thread, but she soon came to her senses and screamed, ”Master Shi, quickly kill this little apprentice for me.”

As soon as these words came out, Master Shi finally snapped back to reality from her shock, her brows furrowing as she asked, ”Lu Shan, what’s going on here?”

”Don’t ask questions you shouldn’t, just kill this little apprentice, and you won’t be short of rewards,” Lu Shan didn’t explain, but commanded arrogantly and unquestionably.

It was as if Master Shi was the apprentice and she, the instructor.

At her words, Master Shi’s brows furrowed even more, clearly disgusted by Lu Shan’s tone. After giving Yu Yan inside the isolation room a glance, she quickly realized Lu Shan was one of Lei Zizhen’s people.

She shouldn’t have intervened to save her just now...

Seeing Master Shi standing still, Lu Shan couldn’t help but bark, ”What are you dumbly staring at me for? Do you no longer wish to work? Do you believe I could get you fired with just one word as a minor outer court instructor?”

Once Liu Shan took care of Shui Yanmei and Lei Hongteng became the Vice Palace Master, she would be Lei Zizhen’s favored one.

A mere outer court instructor, she, Lu Shan, truly did not care for.

Thinking of this, Lu Shan sneered continuously, ”Or do you think just because you saved me, I should be grateful? That’s exactly what you should have done... Saving me, you should consider yourself lucky.”

Slap!

No sooner had Lu Shan finished her sentence than Master Shi suddenly stretched out her hand and slapped her face fiercely.

Lu Shan was sent flying, screaming as she smashed into the wall of the isolation room and was stunned.

Two breaths later, she clutched her face and shrieked, ”Shi, you dared to hit me, do you really not want to work any longer?”

Master Shi’s face was ashen, and she suddenly turned to Sikong Jing and said, ”Sorry for what just happened, Brother Sikong, dispose of Lu Shan as you see fit.”

After speaking, Master Shi strode towards the isolation room.

Sikong Jing, however, advanced coldly, fixing his gaze on Lu Shan and saying, ”Now, do you believe I’m capable of taking on Fire Dragon Mountain?”

”But it doesn’t matter whether you believe it or not, you are going to die,” Sikong Jing’s voice was like the grim reaper calling her time.

At last, Lu Shan realized the fear, rushing into the isolation room and shouting at Master Shi, ”Hurry up and save me, do you understand that Fire Dragon Mountain is about to change, if I die none of you will live to leave here.”

At the same time, within the isolation room, Lu Fenglan suddenly grabbed a knife and held it against Yu Yan’s throat.

”That’s right, Huo Yanmei that old hag is about to die, do you know that?”

Had this been before, Master Shi would have been scared and shocked, but now she walked forward without a change in expression; these two women were clearly unaware that the situation on Fire Dragon Mountain had already been turned around by Sikong Jing.

Slap!

Master Shi struck Lu Fenglan with another fierce slap, quickly untying the ropes binding Yu Yan.

”Ah!”

At the same time, with a scream from inside the door of the isolation room, Lu Shan was pierced through the top of the skull by Sikong Jing’s five claws and died on the spot.

Seeing this, Lu Fenglan was utterly terrified.

She curled up in the corner, yelling, ”You, you... Huo Yanmei is really about to die, you’re all doomed.”

Yu Yan, now free, quickly stood up and said to Master Shi, ”Hurry and save the Institute Master, they’re not just scaring us, Liu Shan might be going to kill her, he wants to take over as the Fire Dragon Mountain Master.”

Because she had been captured by Liu Shan, she knew quite a bit about Lei Hongteng’s conspiracy.

However, Sikong Jing walked in leisurely, smiled, and said, ”Senior Sister Yu need not worry, Master Shi and I have already notified the Institute Master, Liu Shan has been dealt with, and the Institute Master is now purging Fire Dragon Mountain.”

At this, Yu Yan’s eyes widened in disbelief, overwhelmed with emotion.

And Lu Fenglan was also stunned, screaming incessantly, ”Impossible, I don’t believe it.”
