Berserk God of War

Chapter 384: Chapter 384: Snitching

Although the Upper Stage Universe-grade New Dark Wing Black Burning Sword couldn’t be made at any time,

it was achieved by Sikong Jing who risked demonization while studying the complex meridians of the Dark Winged Dragon Eagle. However, as Sikong Jing’s strength progressed, he would later be able to easily create Universe-grade Martial Skills.

In order to convince Ning Jingjing to accept it, Sikong Jing made it sound easier.

But the crowd was even more astonished. Being able to create Universe-grade Martial Skills at any time—could you not be so disheartening?

Across from him, Ning Jingjing, upon hearing Sikong Jing mention her father-in-law, finally grasped the three Green Jade Tubes and said, ”Alright, then I won’t be polite, I thank you on behalf of all the Black-armored Soldiers of the 66th Army.”

With a faint smile, Sikong Jing spoke no further.

Ning Jingjing also took a deep breath, unable to resist directly using her consciousness to look at the First Tier of the new Dark Wing Black Burning Sword.

In an instant, her entire body shook tremendously, and with a boom, she broke through.

She had reached the Second Realm of Xuantian.

In less than a quarter of an hour, Ning Jingjing had mastered it. Casually, she threw the First Tier to a Deputy General nearby and then looked at the Second Tier of the new Dark Wing Black Burning Sword...

Boom!

It wasn’t long before Ning Jingjing again made a breakthrough from the Second Realm of Xuantian to the peak of the Second Realm... Then wielding the sword, she executed the Second Tier of the Dark Wing Black Burning Sword, causing the people around her to exclaim in admiration continuously.

At the same time, the Deputy Generals, after mastering the First Tier of the new Dark Wing Black Burning Sword, also experienced continuous breakthroughs.

In just two hours, the Deputy Generals had collectively advanced to the Innate Martial Sect Realm, reaching the First Realm of Xuantian.

Fei Chian was dumbfounded, staring blankly at everything unfolding.

Then he couldn’t resist approaching Elder Wei, asking dumbly, ”Is this a Cultivation Technique or a Sword Skill? How can just looking at it lead to a breakthrough?”

Elder Wei smiled faintly and said, ”Because Brother Sikong’s Green Jade Tube is extraordinary, his Dark Wing Black Burning Sword possesses astonishing power that allows one to comprehend Martial Arts and break through barriers.”

When Ning Jingjing first cultivated the old Dark Wing Black Burning Sword, this situation had occurred.

When Ning Jingjing initially advanced to the First Realm of Xuantian, it was exactly because of Sikong Jing’s Green Jade Tube, containing the Fierce Beast Intent of the Dark Winged Dragon Eagle and Sikong Jing’s understanding of Martial Arts.

Watching Ning Jingjing and the Deputy Generals of the 66th Army continuously breaking through, Fei Chian’s eyes turned completely red.

He was so envious now!

Time trickled away, and within the blink of an eye, a few hours had passed.

Ning Jingjing then began to learn the Third Tier of the new Dark Wing Black Burning Sword, but this time she struggled. Although she had already smoothly reached the Third Realm of Xuantian, she still couldn’t completely master it.

For many questions, she could only ask Sikong Jing for help...

Meanwhile, the other Deputy Generals were stuck at the Second Tier, also struggling to learn.

As for the First Tier, it had already started to spread among the eighty thousand Black-armored Soldiers, who surrounded Zhang Zhun and the other one hundred and twenty thousand as they practiced the new Dark Wing Black Burning Sword—after all, they were free otherwise.

In the blink of an eye, two days had passed.

Outside the 66th Castle, in the woods, the situation remained the same as two days ago.

Zhang Zhun strained to break out, but the more he tried, the more he realized the surrounding eighty thousand soldiers, who were becoming stronger one by one, completely prevented their escape.

After several attempts, they were beaten back, disarmed, and returned to the woods.

Meanwhile, the morale of the one hundred and twenty thousand was thoroughly shaken, many contemplating whether to surrender.

After all, it wasn’t shameful; they were originally people of the 66th Army.

”We can’t continue like this. I’m going to send a distress signal to the commander right now. I’m damned if I don’t report on Ning Jingjing.”

”I’m going to tell on her to the commander!”

Seeing they were almost at their limit, Zhang Zhun hardened his resolve.

Following that, he wrote a letter and had a small black bird deliver it to the Central Castle and handed it to the Chief of Staff of the Long Night Black Burning Army.

That is, his direct superior.

This Chief of Staff was named Zhang Han, who was also the clan uncle of Zhang Zhun.

It was he who, a month ago, had proposed to Beigong Xianfeng to send a staff member to assist Ning Jingjing, which was actually because Zhang Zhun had accepted benefits from the Ning Family and sought Zhang Han’s help.

Upon receiving the letter, Zhang Han went to find Beigong Xianfeng and said in a low voice, ”Commander, take a look.”

He handed over Zhang Zhun’s report letter.

Beigong Xianfeng glanced at it and softly read, ”66th Army’s Ning Jingjing having illicit connections with the family members of the Long Night Black Burning Army, allowing her subordinates in Black Armor to secretly practice its swords techniques, and also interfering in 66th Army’s affairs...”

”Not only did Ning Jingjing not stop it, but she also joined forces with this person to suppress those with dissenting opinions.”

This was the content of Zhang Zhun’s letter...

It was written under the pretext of secretly transmitting sword techniques, first describing the matter of Su Zhenglong, then about his son-in-law privately teaching disorganized sword techniques, which made Ning Jingjing and others stronger.

In the end, Ning Jingjing suppressed and expelled those who opposed.

Including Zhang Zhun himself, who was now trapped outside the 66th Castle in the woods.

Zhang Zhun’s report did not mention anything else; it focused on the illicit connections, the non-Long Night Black Burning Army sword techniques, and Ning Jingjing using her power to bully others, and at the end it even posed the question: Isn’t this a violation of military law?

”Commander, this is serious.”

”The Black Burning Sword is the official sword technique of the Black Burning Army; Ning Jingjing’s illicit transmission of the sword is shaking the very foundation of the Black Burning Army.”

Chief of Staff Zhang Han spoke rapidly, ”I suggest, I personally go investigate it thoroughly.”

In fact, he recognized some problems with Zhang Zhun’s report, but since he was his kin, it was best for him to handle it first.

Beigong Xianfeng frowned and said indifferently, ”Ning Jingjing shouldn’t have the audacity; the letter seriously avoids the main issue. What I see is that Ning Jingjing with 80,000 people repelled Zhang Zhun’s 120,000.”

At this statement, Zhang Han’s face looked somewhat unpleasant.

This Chief of Staff could recognize the issue, and Beigong Xianfeng, not being an easy man, could certainly see the problem in the letter too.

”Hmm, we cannot conclude before the facts are clear; I will go see for myself.”

”Let’s go!”

Having said that, Beigong Xianfeng got up, ready to head to the 66th Castle.

”Ah?”

Zhang Han exclaimed somewhat dazedly, was it really necessary to take a matter involving just a Ning Jingjing of the 66th Army so seriously?

Nevertheless, he could only follow along.

Meanwhile, Zhang Han obviously didn’t know about the significant connection between Ning Jingjing and Sikong Jing.

Concerning Ning Jingjing’s matter, Beigong Xianfeng of course took it very seriously.

Thus, the two of them flashed out of the Central Castle.

They soon arrived outside the woods; sitting atop their Flying Mounts they saw the situation below fully.

At that moment, Zhang Han said coldly, ”How outrageous, those 120,000 are already in such a dire state, yet Ning Jingjing still won’t withdraw her troops, does she no longer regard the Long Night Black Burning Army as her own? Is she trying to exterminate them quickly?”

Surrounded for two days and two nights, and having been repelled back several times during breakout attempts, Zhang Zhun and his men were in a dire state in the woods.

They had no food, and they were also injured.

Zhang Han, of course, still sided with Zhang Zhun, immediately spoke ill of Ning Jingjing, and then said, ”Commander, I will go down now and sternly admonish Ning Jingjing, letting her retreat before discussing anything else.”

Having said that, he was ready to control the demon beast to dive down...
