Chapter 397: Chapter 397 I Have the Fire Dragon Meridian

”Institute Master, Master Lei says that our Volcano Dragon must support him as the Vice Palace Master.”

”If you support, it’s fine... If not, then Fire Dragon Mountain will just have to change its Institute Master.”

At this point, Liu Shan’s True Qi suddenly pressed down, causing the courtyard gate to creak loudly.

Huo Yanmei stood up abruptly, her voice booming out like frost, ”Liu Shan, do you wish to usurp my position as Institute Master?”

Outside, Liu Shan chuckled, slowly responding, ”I’m sorry, Master Huo. For a better future for Holy Dragon Palace, and for Master Lei to become Vice Palace Master, I can only inconvenience you...”

Having said that, his True Qi grew even more intense.

And just at that moment, the small formation outside burst forth, sending Liu Shan’s True Qi recoiling back.

But Liu Shan was still laughing, ”Institute Master, Master Lei says you’re severely injured, just a bit better than Qin Heng, indeed it’s true... Your Floral Fire Dragon Flame Array isn’t quite up to par, I will soon Break the Formation.”

Having finished speaking, the formation outside entangled with Liu Shan’s power, producing bursts of exploding sounds.

”Pfft...”

At the same time, Huo Yanmei spat out another mouthful of fresh blood.

She was connected to the formation outside, and now that the formation was being attacked, it naturally drew on her own injuries.

Now, it was injury upon injury!

”Institute Master, what do we do?” Master Shi, turning pale with fear, asked. The situation was more severe than she had imagined.

If they let Liu Shan break in, they’d all likely die within the courtyard.

Huo Yanmei, with murderous intent, said, ”I never thought, just after the battle between the two major academies ended, Lei Hongteng would resort to such despicable methods, disregarding the unity and safety of Holy Dragon Palace.”

At this, her anger was overwhelming.

Of course, Holy Dragon Palace hadn’t lost the grand battle, but they hadn’t won either...

With nearly half of the elders and higher-ups casualties, now should have been a time for stronger unity. Yet, only a few days after returning, it turned to a power struggle, even to the extent of lethal conflicts.

Clenching her teeth tightly, Huo Yanmei, after mustering her True Qi, deflatedly said, ”It’s no use. I’m too severely injured; I can’t possibly match Liu Shan. I’ll send you out of Holy Dragon Palace now. You must leave quickly and find Palace Master Shen...”

Having finished speaking, Huo Yanmei looked towards Sikong Jing and Master Shi, her eyes filled with a resolve to die.

The latter’s expression turned extremely panicked, while Sikong Jing remained unusually calm, softly counter-asking, ”Master Huo, is there a way that could at least enable you to suppress Liu Shan’s power?”

He didn’t want to leave, otherwise Qin Heng would die, Yu Yan would die, Master Wen Hu would die too.

By then, even if they found Shen Qingye, what good would it do?

Master Shi looked distraught. Now was not the time for such questions. The Institute Master had already declared it impossible. How could Sikong Jing, just a Little Apprentice, possibly find a way to restore the Institute Master’s power?

Huo Yanmei sighed lightly and said, ”There’s no way. My condition, even if the Palace Master returned, would be useless. I once ventured through Fire Dragon Mountain Road, only the original power of Fire Dragon Mountain Road can heal me...”

”But in Holy Dragon Palace, I’m the only person who has passed the trial of Fire Dragon Mountain Road.”

With a look of despair, Huo Yanmei emphasized, ”No need to talk further, I’ll send you away now... Hmm?”

Suddenly, Huo Yanmei’s eyes widened in disbelief as she stared at Sikong Jing, and then exclaimed, ”You, you, you...”

Suddenly, a burst of Fire Attribute power flashed from Sikong Jing’s body.

A surge of extremely pure True Qi condensed in the palm of his hand, the original power of Fire Dragon Mountain Road.

Naturally, it was the True Qi Sikong Jing had condensed through the fourth Dragon Vein. If he were to strike now, it would be the Fire Dragon Fist.

”Master Huo, when I first came up the mountain, I didn’t have the Fire Dragon Token, so I just braved the mountain road’s pressure and made my way up, then I obtained this True Qi power. I wonder if it can be of any help for your injuries?”

Sikong Jing’s face wore a slight smile as he shook the True Qi of Fire Dragon Meridian in his hand.

Next to him, Master Shi’s mouth was wide open, she could hardly believe her ears... Sikong Jing had successfully climbed Fire Dragon Mountain Road and reached the top because he didn’t have the Fire Dragon Token.

Thus, he was the second person in the entire Holy Dragon Palace, apart from the Institute Master, to successfully challenge Fire Dragon Mountain Road.

This is just...unbelievable.

Huo Yanmei was also stunned for a while, before she slowly exhaled and responded, ”Of course it’s useful, quickly press your True Qi into my back, next I’ll absorb your True Qi, it might weaken you for a bit.”

Although shocked beyond words, Huo Yanmei had no time to ask more.

Liu Shan was about to break through the formation soon, she had to recover at least 80% of her strength before he entered.

On this side, Sikong Jing didn’t hesitate at all; with the power of his palm, he struck Huo Yanmei’s back, and then he felt his True Qi gushing towards Huo Yanmei...

”So pure, your comprehension of Fire Dragon Mountain Road is stronger than mine.”

Huo Yanmei said in shock, and then continued absorbing Sikong Jing’s True Qi without another word.

Meanwhile, Sikong Jing kept channeling all his True Qi into the Fire Dragon Meridian, transforming it into Fire Dragon True Qi for Huo Yanmei to absorb.

He thought to himself that his Fire Dragon Meridian was completely constructed based on Fire Dragon Mountain Road, and although he looked human, he was actually a Beast Body, so his True Qi was naturally purer than Huo Yanmei’s.

In the blink of an eye, Sikong Jing’s True Qi was completely drained.

Huo Yanmei’s body was full of surging True Qi, and her complexion gradually became rosy.

Unexpectedly, her injuries were completely healed after absorbing Sikong Jing’s Fire Dragon True Qi.

What’s more unbelievable was that there were signs of a breakthrough...

Boom!

Just then, the outer formation completely shattered, and Liu Shan’s voice came from the doorway.

”Haha, Master Huo, I’m really sorry, but next, I will become the Master of Fire Dragon Mountain.”

”And you, you can only die from severe wounds in seclusion.”

”Once Master Lei Hongteng becomes the Vice Palace Master, we’ll definitely curse Xingluo Palace, claiming they caused your death.”

After speaking, with a bang, he fiercely kicked open the courtyard door.

Liu Shan walked into the courtyard with surging True Qi, his face full of smug and wild laughter, but the next moment, he was stunned.

”Master Shi, what are you doing here? Huh, and who is this kid?”

He suddenly felt bewildered, wasn’t Huo Yanmei supposed to be alone in the courtyard?

She was in seclusion healing her wounds, and wasn’t supposed to be disturbed by anyone.

”Forget it, since you have run into this, it’s just your bad luck.”

”Now Master Shi, you can only die.”

Liu Shan’s aura surged towards Huo Yanmei, then he cried out in distress, ”Master Huo, why didn’t you support Lei Hongteng? Why did you have to die so miserably?”

”Before dying, you even dragged two irrelevant people into this, how heartbreaking for me.”

As Liu Shan spoke, he burst out laughing and then charged forward.

Smack!

The next instant, Liu Shan suddenly felt a blur before his eyes, and then a crisp sound rang out on his face, his entire True Qi scattered in an instant, and he stood there dumbly, covering his scorching hot face.

Shortly after, Huo Yanmei slowly stood up, and said lightly, ”Liu Shan, do you know what I hate the most?”
