Berserk God of War

Chapter 354: Chapter 354: The Human-Shaped Monster Reappears

Giggle, giggle, giggle...

Ning Jingjing’s whole body shook violently. She was unable to describe these eyes, horrific and bloodthirsty, embodying an air of superiority!

Yet this was merely a demon beast, and for some reason, it was still fixating on her.

Finally, the Divine Spaceship disappeared from her sight.

Aboard the ship, Sikong Jing’s thoughts were filled with chaos. He felt as if he needed to ask something to the Ning Jingjing below, but he seemed unable to speak; he wanted to be still, yet restlessness consumed him.

Thus, Sikong Jing, along with the Divine Spaceship, vanished near the 67th Castle, heading straight for the 66th Town.

Outside the 66th Town, a piercing scream rose from beside a small grove: ”What are you going to do...woo-hoo!”

The owner of the scream was abruptly silenced, her voice cruelly stifled mid-sentence.

Immediately after, a sinister and chilly voice arose: ”We were wondering why that bitch Ning Jingjing discovered the kidnapping, turns out you saw something you shouldn’t have.”

”Woo-hoo...”

The owner of the scream was none other than Xia Dalian, and several ghastly and horrendous Black-armored Soldiers stood before her.

With her voice sealed, all she could do was sob.

At that moment, a Black-armored Soldier gazed upon Xia Dalian’s face with a heinous grin.

”Quite a pretty one.”

”I’ve checked up on you, Xia Dalian from the Canglong Small Domain, freshly promoted from the Reserve Camp to an official Black-armored Soldier.”

Slap!

As he said this, the Black-armored Soldier suddenly struck Xia Dalian’s face with a heavy slap and sneered with malicious glee, ”You could’ve had a bright future, brought glory to your Small Domain, but you meddled in affairs that weren’t your business, nearly causing trouble for us.”

”Although we’re not afraid of Ning Jingjing, being discovered is still a big hassle.”

Xia Dalian glared with wide eyes, fixating on the Black-armored Soldier before her...

Her act of informing Ning Jingjing had been exposed; the entire 66th Town was now in utter chaos. Ning Jingjing had no control over the situation at first, and now, eighty thousand Black-armored Soldiers had gone to the 67th Castle.

Staying behind, she got caught by these people and was dragged outside the 66th Town.

This was the end, the complete end!

Xia Dalian was filled with immense regret. If only she had not meddled in the affairs of Su Yuexi and her daughter.

At that moment, the leading Black-armored Soldier spoke again.

”Dare to meddle, then you can join that Sikong brat and his family in death.”

”But before you die, heh... you get to enjoy our affection.”

”Haha, take her into the woods.”

Upon these words, the surrounding Black-armored Soldiers revealed knowing smirks, then proceeded to drag Xia Dalian towards the woods.

”Woo-hoo...”

Xia Dalian struggled frantically, but how could she break free? She was quickly pulled into the woods, her eyes bloodshot.

”Old Dog, unseal her voice. I don’t like it when I can’t hear a woman scream.”

Just then, the leading Black-armored Soldier ordered his subordinate.

However, the one named Old Dog hesitated and asked, ”Big brother, should we be more careful? It’d be trouble if we’re discovered.”

Regrettably, the leading Black-armored Soldier was unconcerned...

”No problem, Ning Jingjing has taken her people to find General Fu at the 67th Castle.”

”Right now, the entire 66th Town, besides those dependents, is all ours. So what if they hear? They can join in!”

”Hahaha...”

A few Black-armored Soldiers heard and let out a series of strange laughter before they untied Xia Dalian’s vocal cords.

In an instant, Xia Dalian screamed, ”Let me go, I wasn’t the one who leaked the secrets, I have nothing to do with Su Yuexi, and I was even an enemy of Sikong Jing in the Canglong Small Domain.”

Now, all she could do was frantically deny these accusations; otherwise, she wouldn’t just die—she would die a horrendous death.

As the princess of the Daxia, she couldn’t bear the thought of dying at the hands of these low-ranking Black-armored Soldiers after coming to the Long Night Empire!

And it would be an exceedingly humiliating death at that...

”We have looked into everything, and you still dare claim you have no relation? Do you think our control over the 66th Town is just for fun?”

The leading Black-armored Soldier stared grimly at Xia Dalian and pounced towards her, saying viciously, ”Even if you weren’t the one who betrayed us, it doesn’t matter. All you little nothings from the 99th Army, we’ll play with you however we want.”

”Damn it, General Fu has been demoted from the 66th General to the 67th General, and he takes out his anger on us all the time.”

”Can’t we take our anger out on you?”

Having said this, he leapt at her...

But just at that moment, his body suddenly stopped, held back by someone.

”What the hell? Who dares to grab me, do you want to die?” The leading Black-armored Soldier instantly flew into a rage when his attempt to touch the girl before him was interrupted, cursing loudly.

Turning his head back in a roar, he said, ”I want to see which blind fool—what on earth?”

As he saw the creature that had grabbed him, his face turned green.

Before him stood a human-shaped demon beast.

Its body was covered with dark black and deep blue scales, its eyes were filled with blood-red threads, and its presence was terrifying and overwhelming.

At the same time, the several accompanying Black-armored Soldiers had already collapsed to the ground, shivering under the pressure of the human-shaped monster’s aura, wanting to scream but finding themselves unable to even open their mouths.

Xia Dalian, who had been waiting to die with her eyes shut, suddenly opened them, her pupils dilating dramatically as she couldn’t help but exclaim, ”Is it you?”

The one who appeared before her was the same human-shaped monster she had encountered in Yunzhou, Great Shang Dynasty.

Back then, she was leading the Daxia Army to rescue and subdue Sikong Jing.

On their way, this human-shaped monster passed by with a woman flying by, then circled back again.

It had ignored her beauty at the time and even took away her Flying Blood Colorful Winged Horse, which she later found out had become Sikong Jing’s mount, Er Hong. It had not appeared since, yet here it was in the Long Night Black Burning Camp. Was it here to rescue her?

Of course, Xia Dalian had no idea that the human-shaped demon beast before her was Sikong Jing himself.

The demonized Sikong Jing had come to the rescue only because he had arrived just in time to hear Xia Dalian utter the name ’Su Yuexi’, prompting him to immediately descend from the Divine Spaceship to save her.

”Demon beast, let me go!” By then, the leading Black-armored Soldier was twisting and struggling wildly.

Then, the others around him suddenly came to their senses and shouted, ”Run!”

But the moment they started to move, Sikong Jing’s eyes swept over them lightly... Bang, bang, bang, in an instant, several of them exploded into bits of flesh.

This scene left Xia Dalian stunned.

These Black-armored Soldiers were originally from the 66th Army, the trusted aides of General Fu, and all of them were strong. Yet, with a single glance, the human-shaped monster had annihilated them all.

Meanwhile, the leader of the Black-armored Soldiers stopped struggling, his eyes wide with fear.

Finally, he trembled as he yelled, ”Demon beast, you, you are killing people in the Long Night Black Burning Camp, General Fu won’t let you off, the entire Long Night Black Burning Camp won’t let you off.”

Bang...

Suddenly, Sikong Jing knocked him unconscious with a palm strike, then prepared to take him with him towards the Divine Spaceship.

Even though he was still in a demonized state, his subconscious was struggling; he did not want anyone to know he was Sikong Jing. Instinctively, he preferred not to interrogate them on the spot...

As for Xia Dalian, his subconscious also didn’t want to kill her.
