Berserk God of War

Chapter 398: Chapter 398: All Must Be Buried With Him

”I hate the power struggles and greed within the Holy Dragon Palace.”

”Healthy competition is acceptable, but when it comes to killing dissidents, then I can only... stop killing with killing.”

With that, boom!

Huo Yanmei’s raging True Qi smashed into Liu Shan, pinning him down in place.

The latter trembled violently, screaming in disbelief, ”Why aren’t you injured? How have your wounds healed?”

Liu Shan was stunned. After all, Master Lei and the other elders had said that Huo Yanmei was gravely injured.

But now, she was clearly at the height of her power.

”Thanks to the fast-acting medicine brought by this apprentice, I have recovered,” Huo Yanmei casually said, pointing at Sikong Jing.

Upon hearing this, Liu Shan couldn’t help but look toward Sikong Jing, roaring, ”Damn it, who is he?”

It was this unknown kid who brought the fast-acting medicine that allowed Huo Yanmei to recover. He was going to be the death of himself, and he might even cause a major upheaval in the entire Holy Dragon Palace.

At this moment, Sikong Jing slowly stepped forward, ”Let me introduce myself. My name is Sikong Jing.”

Upon hearing this, Liu Shan was confused. He had never heard this name before.

”I am responsible for the loss of one of Lei Zizhen’s arms, and I survived the Minglong Mountain Range. By the way, I also brought some medicine for Master Huo.”

Sikong Jing’s eyes narrowed slightly. Since Huo Yanmei did not mention the healing powers of the Fire Dragon Meridian, he naturally would not mention it either.

Fast-acting medicine it was, then.

”What, it was you, this little apprentice?” Liu Shan’s eyes widened, staring at Sikong Jing in disbelief.

Shrugging his shoulders, Sikong Jing coldly replied, ”Yes, just me, this insignificant little apprentice.”

Boom!

As soon as Sikong Jing finished speaking, Huo Yanmei struck Liu Shan with her palm.

He spurted blood and fell to the ground, not getting up. He trembled as he stared at Sikong Jing, then turned his gaze to Huo Yanmei.

”Institute Master, I know I was wrong, please spare me.”

He was so scared that he trembled violently, but he could only beg for mercy.

”Expose all those from the Fire Dragon Mountain who have pledged loyalty to Lei Hongteng.”

”Then, send a message to Lei Hongteng, saying that despite my severe injuries, I had no choice but to agree and support him becoming Vice Palace Master.”

”Only then will your family be allowed to remain in the Holy Dragon Palace.”

Huo Yanmei’s icy voice rang in Liu Shan’s ears, merciless.

”As for you, Vice Palace Master Qin Heng will decide your fate. Whether you live will depend on your behavior from now on,” Huo Yanmei continued.

Her intention was naturally to have Liu Shan deceive Lei Hongteng.

Huo Yanmei wanted to ostensibly support Lei Hongteng to stabilize him so that she could save Qin Heng, and then she would strike Lei Hongteng with a thunderous blow.

Thus, Liu Shan could not die just yet.

His mouth agape, Liu Shan suddenly understood the key point and his face turned ashen.

”Refuse, and die right now.”

After finishing her words, Huo Yanmei slapped another palm on Liu Shan’s body, as a rush of heat poured into his body. ”Fail to comply, and my True Qi will burn inside you. Now... answer me.”

In the end, Liu Shan naturally had no choice but to agree, exposing all those in the Fire Dragon Mountain who had pledged loyalty to Lei Hongteng.

And he also exposed all the elders in the Holy Dragon Palace who supported Lei Hongteng.

Finally, he sent the message to Lei Hongteng, as Huo Yanmei had directed.

When everything was settled, Huo Yanmei left Little Flower Mountain and returned to the Inner Court.

She acted swiftly and decisively, capturing all of the Fire Dragon Mountain instructors and elders who had sided with Lei Hongteng.

At the same time, Sikong Jing also arrived at the Fire Dragon Mountain Inner Court, guided by Master Shi towards the disciplinary cell of Fire Dragon Mountain.

At that moment, Yu Yan’s voice just happened to echo from within the cell.

”Lu Shan, what are you going to do?”

The door of the cell was open, and standing in front of Yu Yan was a Inner Palace student of Fire Dragon Mountain, none other than the Lu Shan mentioned by her.

”Don’t worry, I’m certainly not going to kill you right now.”

”But well, I have a friend from Wind Dragon Mountain who misses you dearly and would like to meet you.”

As soon as she finished speaking, footsteps were heard.

A female student from Wind Dragon Mountain entered the cell, and it was indeed the student whom she once whipped in the Task Hall.

It was... Lu Fenglan.

Back then, Lu Fenglan was on duty in the Task Hall and was reprimanded by Yu Yan, who was serving as a deacon, for bullying Ge Rong from the Da He Association.

At that time, she was also soundly whipped by Sikong Jing.

In the end, Lu Fenglan had even invoked her father, a Master at Wind Dragon Mountain, to come and bully others with her influence. She ended up being fiercely whipped by Yu Yan, who even told her to have her father come to the Task Hall to explain and apologize.

The whole incident left Lu Fenglan’s family without a shred of dignity, and now, she finally had her chance for revenge.

Lu Fenglan had barely stepped into the cell when she couldn’t help but burst into haughty laughter, ”Yu Yan, one of the three Great Deacons of the Task Hall, you really are so impressive, making my father apologize to you. Did you ever think you’d have a day like today?”

Upon hearing this, Yu Yan’s face turned pale, her fists clenched tightly.

”I want to see the Institute Master...” Yu Yan, tired of dealing with her, turned her fierce gaze toward Lu Shan.

Lu Shan was a Six-winged Level student of the Inner Palace and was second only to the Chief among the Inner Palace students of Fire Dragon Mountain.

She had been continually applying to become a deacon of the Task Hall, but the position was unexpectedly snatched away by the unknown Yu Yan. From the first day Yu Yan entered the Inner Palace, Lu Shan was irritated, she was hateful...

And so, she opposed Yu Yan at every turn.

Lu Shan’s relationship with Lei Zizhen was also very good, naturally making her one of Liu Shan’s pawns.

”See the Institute Master? Don’t you know even the Institute Master is in danger now?” Lu Shan said with a low chuckle while staring at Yu Yan.

At these words, Yu Yan’s entire face blanched, shaking as she cried out, ”Lei Hongteng and Liu Shan are even laying hands on the Institute Master? This is the Holy Dragon Palace. When did we become like this?”

She was stunned. The Holy Dragon Palace had always been unified, but now, for his own selfish desires, Lei Hongteng was even plotting against the Institute Master.

”Giggle giggle giggle...”

Lu Shan and Lu Fenglan began laughing together: ”Under Master Lei’s leadership, the Holy Dragon Palace will only get better and better.”

”Yu Yan, oh Yu Yan, if Brother Lei hadn’t said you were still useful, you’d be dead too.”

”Do you know why you’re still useful?”

”Because Master Lei plans to say that you became a deacon through backdoor dealings, using you as an excuse to take down Master Wen Hu, and then harshly deal with the elders behind Master Wen Hu, in order to strike at more opponents.”

Hearing this, Yu Yan’s face became even paler; Lei Hongteng was too ruthless.

On the other hand, Lu Fenglan laughed, ”Plus, who told you to associate with that little apprentice who caused Brother Lei to lose an arm? Although that little apprentice is dead, Brother Lei said whoever is related to him must all be buried with him.”

”The Da He Association in the Apprentice School Region, Yisuo from Golden Dragon Mountain, Baili Que from Dark Dragon Mountain... And then it’s your turn.”

In a flash, Yu Yan’s eyes widened. Had something happened to Baili Que, the Chief of Dark Dragon Mountain, too?

Lu Shan then turned to Lu Fenglan, saying, ”Go ahead and whip her, whip her mercilessly... until you feel contented.”

With a cackling laughter, Lu Fenglan stepped forward...

And at this moment, Yu Yan, who was bound, could only scream in fury, ”When the Palace Master returns, you will pay the price.”
