Berserk God of War

Chapter 360: Chapter 360: Lady of Ten Thousand Beasts, Majestic

Sikong Jing’s eyes flickered slightly, yet he still ignored her.

But this was only a facade of calm, for the struggle within his heart and mind had reached an extreme intensity.

”Brother Jing, I don’t want you to become a demon beast that doesn’t recognize anyone, I don’t want you to forget me.”

”If you must become a Blood Devouring Demon Beast, then devour me first, so we can be together forever.”

”Otherwise, what meaning is there in my living.”

Having said that, Su Yuexi tightly held Sikong Jing’s hand, her eyes brimming with tears as she looked at him.

Then, Su Yuexi noticed that Sikong Jing’s whole body trembled violently, and the devouring power stopped.

But it only stopped.

There was progress, so Su Yuexi clenched her teeth again.

She slowly extended her hand to grasp the claw that Sikong Jing had on Zhong Li’s neck, gradually prying it open.

The terrifying devouring power made Su Yuexi’s face turn pale, but she still forcefully pried it open.

One, two, three...Sikong Jing did not resist.

In the Ten Thousand Beasts Sky Prison, all the beasts held their breath, staring fixedly at the scene with the Heavenly Eye, until finally all five of Sikong Jing’s claws were pried open, and Zhong Li’s body slammed onto the ground.

Su Yuexi then spread her fingers, tightly holding Sikong Jing’s five claws, tears in her eyes as she looked at him.

”Brother Jing, promise me.”

”No matter what you want to do, no matter what you turn into later, you must not devour any power, can you?”

After speaking, she stared deeply into Sikong Jing’s eyes again.

Sikong Jing looked back at Su Yuexi, and his unyieldingly strong will began to suppress the Demon Intent, mounting a counterattack starting from Su Yuexi’s gradual prying open of his claws, continuing until now...

He clenched his teeth and nodded heavily.

”Whoosh...”

Inside the Ten Thousand Beasts Sky Prison, the breath-holding beasts burst into loud cheers, leaping up excitedly.

Some of the more sensitive Fierce Beasts even couldn’t help but wipe away tears with their claws,

”It worked, it really worked, the Master of Ten Thousand Beasts actually agreed, Lady of Ten Thousand Beasts is awesome!”

”Damn, if we can ever leave this damned Heavenly Prison, whoever dares to touch the Lady of Ten Thousand Beasts, I’ll be the first to devour their entire clan.”

”Damn, damn, damn, the heavens haven’t forsaken us demon beasts!”

The beasts were as happy as a bunch of kids, and at this moment, they completely accepted Su Yuexi, no longer finding the Master of Ten Thousand Beasts’ choice of a woman troublesome.

Even the entirely demonized Master of Ten Thousand Beasts was able to be pulled back, making Su Yuexi’s existence extraordinarily significant.

At this moment, Su Yuexi smiled sweetly, embracing Sikong Jing’s five claws close to her chest, gently caressing them, saying, ”Brother Jing, you also have to promise me, to return to your handsome former self.”

Sikong Jing’s bloodshot eyes continued to flicker, then he nodded heavily again.

”Little servant girl, I will kill you...”

But just at that moment, Zhong Li on the ground suddenly screamed out, she abruptly leaped up and lunged at Su Yuexi.

Now she was nearly half dead, at least with more than half of her True Qi and blood devoured by Sikong Jing, but she still displayed extreme ferocity, intending to drag Su Yuexi down with her in her dying moments.

Buzz!

The next instant, Sikong Jing’s five claws reached out, seizing Zhong Li’s neck again.

A devouring aura unconsciously emerged from the five claws...

”Brother Jing, you just promised,” Su Yuexi, seeing this, shouted out loud.

The struggle in Sikong Jing’s eyes flickered momentarily, then his gaze turned into one of terrifying and intense determination.

With a crack, he viciously twisted Zhong Li’s neck and threw her body out heavily.

After twitching a few times on the ground, Zhong Li was silent.

The creatures within the Ten Thousand Beasts Sky Prison had just raised their hearts again, but now seeing the situation, they completely relaxed and let out a sigh of relief.

”Ah!”

But before the dust had settled, another wave arose; a scream echoed through the hall, coming from Mei Xiaofang.

”Mother...”

Su Yuexi jumped in front of Sikong Jing, unable to help exclaiming aloud.

Mei Xiaofang, not known when, was already held in Lan Gou’s grasp, surrounded by the formidable guards of the Lan Family, their faces utterly ferocious.

”Sikong the little beast, no matter what thing you are, let me leave now,” he said.

”Clear a path among all the demon beasts or I’ll kill your mother-in-law right now, making you regret it for life.”

Lan Gou’s entire face twisted, he had just tried to bust out but every inch of air above and below was filled with demon beasts, all staring at him, sealing the Lan Family Mansion tight.

So, while Su Yuexi was speaking to Sikong Jing, he took the opportunity to make Mei Xiaofang his hostage.

”Did you hear me? Get the demon beasts out of the way immediately,” he said.

Seeing Sikong Jing didn’t respond, Lan Gou grew frantic, shouting.

Suddenly, he turned to Su Yuexi, ”Does he even understand human speech now?”

”You tell him, tell him quickly, or I’ll tear off one of your mother’s arms right now,” he threatened.

After speaking, Lan Gou grabbed hold of Mei Xiaofang’s shoulder.

Su Yuexi nervously opened her mouth, quickly looking at Sikong Jing, but unsure of what to do.

However, in an instant, Sikong Jing vanished from the spot and reappeared behind Lan Gou, just as the latter was about to rip off Mei Xiaofang’s arm; ten claws landed on his shoulders.

With a brutal tear...

In a moment, before Lan Gou could even react, he was torn in half, without even a chance to scream.

Following that, Sikong Jing caught the about-to-fall Mei Xiaofang, swept her in a black wind back to Su Yuexi, handed her over, then his figure swirled again, sweeping toward the surrounding people from the Lan Family.

Next, screams continuously erupted throughout the mansion, and soon the entire place was filled with ghastly cries and howls.

Mei Xiaofang, still shaken, looked at everything in front of her, stammering to her daughter, ”Yue Xi, is this demon beast really Ajing?”

Suddenly, Su Yuexi froze, her expression hesitant.

Then she smiled and gently replied, ”Of course not. But he was called by Brother Jing, an often crazed demon beast who also saved me back in Yunzhou City.”

Su Yuexi denied it, unwilling to tell the truth even to her closest mother.

She didn’t want anyone to know that Brother Jing could transform into a demon beast, didn’t want Brother Jing to become a freak in people’s eyes, even though she didn’t know why Brother Jing would do this, she just didn’t want it.

More importantly, it would bring endless danger to Brother Jing.

”Ah? But why did he just say he was your husband, and you also called him Brother Jing?” asked Mei Xiaofang, confused.

Cocking her head to one side, Su Yuexi helplessly replied, ”Because Brother Jing once saved the life of this human-shaped monster, and when in madness, he always sees himself as Brother Jing himself; it’s always like this, I don’t know why.”

”Only Brother Jing and I can make him regain a bit of sanity,” she added.

Su Yuexi thought the excuse she made up was quite poor, but she had no choice but to fabricate it.

Fortunately, Mei Xiaofang, with little knowledge, couldn’t remember much of what Su Yuexi and Sikong Jing had said due to the scare; plus, she subconsciously didn’t want to believe that Sikong Jing could transform into such a terrifying demon beast.
