Surviving The Fourth Calamity

Chapter 467: Chapter 265: Hill’s Water Series Demigod Artifact

Adrian had already given up hope.

Fight! As long as no one dies, let them fight as they please!

After all, he knew that in the future, this place might be occupied by the Half-Elves even more.

If it got destroyed, it would be their own responsibility to repair it.

Although lazy, Adrian was aware of how high William had set the baseline for this covenant.

It wouldn’t preclude the Half-Elves and Humans from interacting, but it certainly wouldn’t allow them to set foot on a single inch of Central City’s land.

Only this area on the outskirts of Central City, which was actually quite far, could be offered for transactions between Humans and Half-Elves.

Adrian was sick of this group of Half-Elves.

Initially, he had found an excuse to squat outside just to avoid trouble, but who knew these Half-Elves could be so foolish.

Even if the Undead Tribe looked beautiful, everyone already knew they were only to be admired from a distance, right?

Dare to strip their clothes off, and you would be struck by lightning directly!

And it doesn’t differentiate between genders.

It’s said that because not only males have chosen female Elemental Bodies, but females have also chosen male bodies, the God of Time and Space simply treats them all equally.

The Saral Nobles have been caught in this trap enforcement numerous times; those from the Undead Tribe who came knocking were usually big-voiced men inside.

They could shout loud enough to make these nobles completely lose interest in certain matters.

After all, the main God’s Divine Thunder never considered whether the Undead consented or not; daring to strip meant daring to strike.

Although the layer of clothing was thin, only the Undead themselves could remove it.

Adrian once overheard some complaints from the Undead, asking why women’s underwear had to adopt such old-fashioned styles. In their world, they could directly wear those out.

Sometimes, he couldn’t quite understand, if they found such short garments long, what did they wear in the world of the Undead?

Now, the Saral Nobles, upon seeing the Undead squatting around in just their underwear, could walk away without even glancing at them.

Good news stays indoors; bad news travels a thousand miles.

These matters of the Undead Tribe were well understood by everyone in the Noble Church and the major forces of Central City, who all kept their distance.

Even when they said some senseless things, the Temple Knights could ignore them completely.

The Knights of the God of Contract, known for their quick tempers, could even manage to keep their cool and not stoop to the level of the Undead.

The Undead, except for going to the Dwarf Kingdom to fight, hadn’t encountered such banter-worthy incidents in quite a long while.

So the reaction of these girls was a bit exaggerated.

One Half-Elf who frivolously patted someone’s bottom ended up having their sword drawn and being sent flying with one strike.

This Half-Elf had chosen a very attractive figure but unfortunately picked a hotheaded Female Swordsman; she directly used a butter knife as her sword, not only sending this Half-Elf flying into the air but also shearing off half of his hair.

Then a group of already annoyed girls rolled up their sleeves and charged up, beating these fools down.

Adrian shouted his lungs out for a long time, yet he stayed far away.

They were all high-level; they weren’t so easy to kill.

Except for the first one who received a sword strike, the others were simply punched out but weren’t killed.

The strength of a Sky Knight is really something!

With several girls holding them down, those Half-Elves couldn’t get up!

However, female Half-Elves, very few of them took action, only watching with stern faces from the side.

They were a bit unsure whether this companion was truly foolish or attempting to test something.

It was rare for Half-Elves to lose their heads over lust, so most likely they wanted to test the waters, or perhaps even make trouble for Queen Viola inside.

But the reaction of the Undead was too intense, directly resorting to beating people up.

Once the fight started, they realized no matter what their companions thought, it was now terribly wrong.

This wasn’t a Grand Knight; merely enduring a few hits wouldn’t let them off.

A Sky Knight could genuinely beat them to death.

They didn’t know what to do anymore.

They could only watch as Adrian, hiding to the side, shouted things like ’Don’t kill anyone’, while the guards of the King of Saral astonishingly didn’t lift a finger to help!

Adrian enjoyed the scene, whether these Half-Elves were purely foolish or greedy but unsuccessful scoundrels; either way, the outcome was very satisfying.

He felt somewhat regretful as he watched the door of the negotiation hall being opened, with William and Queen Viola walking out together.

Under the solemn gaze of Viola, William casually asked these young ladies to cease their actions.

For a future deity, for a demigod, nothing that had happened needed any explanation.

The only thing that mattered was whether William was willing to save face for the Half-Elf Queen.

No matter what the Half-Elves intended to do, William had no plans to intervene, so seeing that the girls had let out most of their frustration, he had them stop immediately.

The girls from the Undead Tribe, although they wanted to fight a bit longer, thought about their clothes, hairstyles, and their unfinished tasks, so they gradually stopped.

Despite not being able to resist kicking and stomping a few more times as they walked back, they obediently left.

There was no need for the Queen to say sorry or apologize on behalf of these fools. William spoke very directly, ”This is still the territory of Central City, the Undead Tribe can come and go as they please.

If you don’t want to cause more trouble, those Half-Elves who caused trouble today had better not enter any territory of Central City.”

He coldly looked at the Half-Elves groaning on the ground, ”You should be thankful that, before things blew up, I had already signed a peace treaty with the Queen.

Otherwise, I wouldn’t mind waiting until the Undead Tribe had killed you before considering the treaty.”

No matter what issues your Half-Elves have internally, neither humans nor the Undead are to be used by you.

I hope there is absolutely no next time!”

Glancing coldly at Queen Viola, William scoffed, ”Queen Viola, I hope you understand, no matter how many little schemes you have, don’t use them on me again.

I am not Hill, who has to tolerate you once more because of blood ties.

It wouldn’t be a big deal to change the King in the newly established Half-Elf Kingdom.”

Viola couldn’t help but shiver; she didn’t understand why William was so angry.

The Undead, in the Gods of Time and Space, aren’t they just tools?

Why would the King of Saral treat a bunch of tools so seriously? They are only neutral; they haven’t planned to join the Kind Alignment, have they?

Just humans from other worlds.

The Gods of Time and Space don’t need faith.

Viola knew she might have misjudged, she took a light breath before smiling, ”When I return, I’ll talk more with them about the taboos involving humans and the Undead.

Half-Elves and Elves have been living together for too long, some being overly wild and unrestrained, I will try to prevent such types of Half-Elves from appearing...”

Viola paused, looking in the direction of Central City together with William.

Once again, a sky full of water light appeared in the sky above Central City.

Though unbelievable, that ship appearing in the Cloud Realm indicated that the owner of this Demi-God Artifact was still Hill.

Adrian quickly flew up, directly heading for Central City.

William smiled helplessly, ”Queen Viola, there are other matters in Central City, so I won’t see you off.”

Watching William’s vanishing figure, Viola moved her lips, but suppressed the words she wanted to say to stay and see things through, turning around with the bruised and limping male Half-Elf, they headed back to the Half-Elf Kingdom.

Hill’s power was a bit beyond her expectations.

Viola completely erased her impression of Hill getting to his present position by luck and planned to reassess this grandson she had yet to officially meet.

She may have been wrong about some things, but at that time she really needed a chance, and Hill was the easiest one to attain and the least likely to completely turn against her due to their blood relation—at least, Hill would remain silent once.

Turning back once more, seeing the misty Central City, Viola knew regret was too late, things had already gone too far.

She could only try to make amends later, but even if she couldn’t, she definitely couldn’t afford to offend Hill again.

Hill didn’t know how interesting the timing was when he chose to complete this Demi-God Artifact.

It was not easy for him to feel all the Water Materials finally resonating with the Crystal Flower under the control of his spiritual power.

It took a full two days for the Demi-God Artifact to fully take shape.

His Mental Sea was almost exhausted.

But looking at the flower blooming before him, petal by petal falling tremulously under the shimmering of the Water Law.

Slowly fusing together, they turned into a beautiful water-blue robe and various matching blue crystal pendants.

Hill flew in the air, his hand lightly touching a tiny Crystal Flower Ring, which he then wore on his finger.

The robe and other accessories instantly flew onto Hill’s body, dressing him automatically.

Hill touched the fine blue crystal chain, hanging his pendant directly onto it, the crystal chain immediately extended, tightly enwrapping the small pendant.

He landed on the Cloud Ship, unsurprisingly seeing Adrian.

Although because it was a Single System Law Demi-God Artifact, it didn’t take as long to absorb the laws as the folding fan, it still took over an hour, and Adrian, unless he had left Central City for Saral, should have come to check.

”Hill, you really surprised me! Why didn’t you say anything these past few days? This is a combination-type Demi-God Artifact! The teacher would want to see this too,” Adrian couldn’t help but ask with a smile.

”I wasn’t sure if this Water Series Demi-God Artifact could succeed,” Hill sighed, ”Though I felt it could, I dared not say so to my grandfather.

He dislikes activities based on luck, especially those related to alchemy.

Judging by skill alone, I had probably only a one-third chance of success.”

Adrian frowned, ”Do you only have one set of materials?”

”I used a millennium-old Crystal Flower,” Hill sighed, ”I only had one.”

”The teacher will definitely scold you,” Adrian shook his head, ”Alchemy can fail, but you must not take risks. Why were you in such a rush?”

”I felt like I could succeed, now is when the Water Law loves me the most,” Hill’s answer was vague.
