Leisurely Traveler with Check-in System

The two of them got up and had brunch, tidied up, and arrived at Suosong Village, where they parked their vehicle in a managed parking area.

Suosong Village is considered a relatively mature travel village with fairly comprehensive supporting facilities, but it’s all relative.

After all, this is just a village, and one in the Tibetan area, so there’s no comparison to the mainland coastal regions, hence saying the facilities are excellent is impossible.

During the day, there are excavators and trucks transporting sand and stones everywhere, creating quite a commotion, making it very unlikely to encounter bears in this environment.

It’s only at night when human activities decrease that bears might come out to move around.

Since it’s a village, there aren’t any specific tourist spots, and the main travel feature in Suosong Village is self-exploration.

There are several hiking routes to try here, but none are difficult, consisting of a mix of village paths, cement roads, and wild trails.

The must-see, of course, is the Namjagbarwa Snow Mountain.

And Li Younan also received a system task for this.

The initial task left Li Younan a bit stunned... explore 50 kilometers around Suosong Village.

50... 50 kilometers?

This distance is already a very long hiking route.

In the hiking community, this is definitely a heavy-duty hiking journey.

However, Li Younan quickly realized... that’s not right, it didn’t specify the method.

Using Suosong Village as the center, exploring the surroundings doesn’t necessarily have to be done on foot.

At this point, Liu Li and Li Younan got out of the car, and Liu Li asked, ”Where are we going now?”

Li Younan looked thoughtfully at the snow-capped mountain in the distance, then suddenly smiled: ”Feel like riding a motorcycle?”

...

The first route Li Younan chose was from Suosong Village to Dalin Village.

The whole journey is about 10 kilometers, with no risk or difficulty, and a completely cement road.

Following along the Yarlung Zangbo River, with Namjagbarwa Peak right ahead when you look up.

Li Younan pushed the motorcycle, with Liu Li following, until they reached the village entrance, where they prepared to get on the motorcycle.

Opening the helmet box in the back, they found only their own black helmet, suddenly remembering Liu Li took the One Piece stickers she bought last time to decorate her helmet and forgot to put it back.

However, it didn’t matter, since no one here checks for helmets anyway.

In the Tibetan area, motorcycles are a very common means of transportation, and almost no one wears helmets.

Li Younan took out the helmet and fastened it onto Liu Li.

These high-end helmets don’t have a problem of not fitting the head, they’re adjustable and fit snugly without wobbling.

Liu Li paused for a moment, also realizing she didn’t bring her helmet, lowered her head, and obediently got on the back seat, naturally hugging Li Younan tightly.

”Li Younan, you will be my boy forever.”

The wind was whistling, and Li Younan couldn’t hear clearly, ”What?”

Liu Li leaned against Younan’s back, resting her head on his shoulder, and said nothing.

She had once read a novel where the girl in the story rode on the male lead’s motorcycle, and the boy gave her the only helmet to wear, which made her decide that this boy would be her man forever.

Liu Li was very touched when she read this story and fantasized at that time that if such a boy existed in her life, she would think the same.

However, she didn’t want to refer to Li Younan as her ”man” for now, ”boy” sounded better.

This is her little secret, and since Li Younan couldn’t hear clearly, she didn’t say it again.

...

The bike slowly left Suosong Village as the cement road stretched out beneath the wheels.

The wind swept from the side, lifting the strands of the girl’s hair.

The roadside peach trees still had some remaining blossoms, and petals were carried by the wind, sticking to the handlebars before falling again. The Yarlung Zangbo River glowed at the valley bottom to the right.

Namjagbarwa Peak loomed in front, its top wrapped in clouds.

At a bend, Li Younan lightly pressed the handlebars with his left hand and stepped on the brake with his right foot, making the bike lean slightly.

The girl’s grip tightened a little.

After passing the observation deck, they encountered a few hikers on the road who stepped aside to give way, and Liu Li smiled at them.

She was truly doing well now.

A yellow dog darted out from the roadside and quickly dashed into the woods again.

Li Younan wasn’t in a hurry, riding slowly so that the wind didn’t prick.

The motorcycle continued forward, the mileage on the odometer slowly ticking up.

...

Next, Li Younan rode around aimlessly with Liu Li nearby. Wherever the motorcycle could go, be it wild paths or highways, he would give it a try.

Occasionally, they would encounter signs prohibiting motorcycles, and they would bypass them.

For a motorcycle, 50 kilometers becomes a very short distance.

Of course, there were some routes that could only be reached on foot, like the Nalacuo hiking trail, one of the classic hiking routes in the Yarlung Zangbo Grand Canyon, covering 24 kilometers where one can enjoy views of mountains, glaciers, lakes, tundras, and flowing stone beaches.

But Li Younan wasn’t keen on going there, having stayed in the Tibetan area for almost a month now, traveling slowly and thoroughly, he had seen most of the landscapes by now, and looking at the same scenery repeatedly can become tiring over time.

This is why, compared to the scenery along the way, Li Younan was more interested in the local culture.

As it was getting near evening, Li Younan completed the 50-kilometer task along the way.

Just as he suspected, the task didn’t specify that it had to be done on foot.

Riding the motorcycle, the pleasant system notification sound chimed.
