Leisurely Traveler with Check-in System

”You’re already so popular, maybe in the future you’ll find an editing team much stronger than Brother Long’s... Although it won’t be upsetting, it would still be a pity.”

Li Younan shook his head: ”Knowledge can be a key to finding like-minded people, not a step to look down on others. Don’t worry, there will always be people who seek out your channel, myself included.”

Liu Li’s face showed a serene smile. This answer warmed her heart, and she nodded silently: ”But that’s not what I wanted to say today.”

”I feel like since my life has entered the next phase, there should be some changes.”

”I... just want to find a new goal.”

”Is the new goal learning Tibetan?”

”I haven’t decided yet, but... I want to go to college!”

Liu Li cutely furrowed her brow before raising her head to look at Li Younan, muttering a few words in Tibetan.

Li Younan blinked and scoffed with some speechlessness, ”Don’t understand.”

Liu Li laughed: ”I chatted with those kids today and realized I actually have a knack for languages.”

”But Zeren Nimei said you don’t speak well.”

”...”

Liu Li hit Li Younan in the stomach with a Turtle School Qigong blast.

”Ha... enough joking, keep talking.”

”Well, I think learning languages is quite fun. You don’t need much brainpower to learn a language, it’s just a lot of repetition. Once it rolls off your tongue, you’ve learned it.”

As she spoke, Liu Li’s gaze became clear and bright, and much more determined, ”I want to learn a minority language... enter college through adult self-study exams or other means, do you think it’s possible?”

However, Liu Li shook her head afterwards: ”Even if you say it’s impossible, it doesn’t matter... you have to try to know.”

”What’s the most important thing when stepping out into the world?” She paused before answering herself, ”Getting out there is most important.”

Li Younan sipped his water, nodding lightly: ”It’s a good idea, but... even for adult college entrance exams, it’s not just about learning a niche language; you’ll need to study languages, math, English, physics, and chemistry too...”

Liu Li said: ”I know that. But no matter what, I want to give it a try.”

”Starting tomorrow, I need to focus on studying, haha!”

”Alright.” Li Younan laughed: ”I have some experience in this area, being a problem-solver from a small town... I can teach you.”

”Hmm...”

”But, we need to see what your foundation is like.”

”I was pretty good in junior high... uh... I guess! I guess, pretty good.”

As she said ”guess,” Liu Li had little confidence.

”In a few days, when we reach the next city or county, we’ll buy some textbooks to test you.”

”I owe you so much again...”

”A master leads the way, but ultimately you have to rely on yourself.”

”I know.”

”Oh right, there’s a novel called ’All I Want Is to Study Seriously After Being Reborn.’ You might want to check it out; it mentions many useful study methods, which might come in handy.”

Liu Li bowed her head deeply.

She knew well that besides the tags and halo displayed in his videos, Li Younan had a hidden attribute—he was a top student from one of the country’s most prestigious universities!

And also the top scorer from their county’s college entrance exams!

Although those exams were years ago and many of his knowledge might not be as clear as during the exams, his foundation was there. Guiding someone like her should be more than adequate.

With a new goal on her mind, Liu Li’s gaze dropped the previous confusion and became clear and determined.

She then waved her hand at Li Younan: ”Alright, alright, I need to keep studying Tibetan. Don’t disturb me.”

Li Younan hummed, helplessly turned and walked away.

Small-minded girl, use and discard, laughable.

Lying on bed, Liu Li started to murmur to her computer screen: ”ga, ka, ga, gia...”

It seemed like syllables in Tibetan similar to English letters.

Very serious.

...

The next morning, as Li Younan just got up, he quickly headed out. Generally, when there’s a morning glow, there’s a chance to see the golden sunlight on the mountain, but unfortunately, there was no glow today, just another ordinary day.

Those foolish kids who seemed to fly and hide appeared again.

Watching them... Li Younan thought of a few interesting games.
