Leisurely Traveler with Check-in System

The phrase ”to love only one person in a lifetime” defines Li Younan as... a lover.

To be honest, in this supposedly realistic and supposedly clear-headed era, it’s quite childish.

But in her own words, one should be in awe of holy love, and believe in it.

She genuinely feels that love is sacred.

Li Younan once laughed and said, ”You’re such a foolish girl, there might not be a second one like you in this world.”

She said, ”If I ever stop believing in love, it means either I’m dead or my heart is dead—I won’t love another person.”

Sister Long, who has never been in love, is more charming than any other womanizer.

The silly words of the young girl are comparable to impeccable love talks that leave people feeling warm inside.

Not long after resting tonight, Li Younan suddenly heard Tuantuan cooing from the skylight.

Li Younan, who has extensive knowledge of animals, keenly sensed that this sound carried a very clear alertness.

Li Younan turned over and got out of bed.

Liu Li rubbed her eyes, asking groggily, ”What’s wrong?”

Li Younan checked the time, it was 3 AM.

He patted Sister Long, ”Tuantuan seems to have discovered something. It should be nothing serious, you should rest well while I go check it out.”

”Then... be careful.”

Li Younan opened the skylight, then extended himself outward, Tuantuan tilted its head looking at him, cooed twice, then gazed into the darkness.

Li Younan frowned and looked in that direction as well...

Hmm, he saw nothing.

It was too dark.

Li Younan told Tuantuan, ”Shh...” Then he climbed down and closed the skylight.

He turned on the surveillance.

The vehicle had eighteen monitoring devices.

In fact, the lenses of these monitoring devices are very small, only exposed at the size of a coin, similar to the high-definition cameras on household cars, as the control center is integrated into the main control unit.

However, some of them are infrared cameras.

They are genuine infrared cameras equipped with thermal imaging systems, not just ordinary night vision supplementary lighting cameras for domestic use.

When Li Younan switched on the infrared camera directed towards the area where Tuantuan was watching and activated the thermal imaging, his eyebrows twitched.

Outside the open space was a wild field overgrown with weeds.

A large animal was moving within it.

Li Younan instantly concluded... it was a bear!

It was late April now, bears had just finished hibernating, and it was a time when they were ravenously hungry, expanding their activity range to forage more widely.

Compared to the grizzly bear Li Younan sent off before, this bear was slightly smaller, yet still over two meters tall, with shoulders over a meter wide!

This type of bear is perhaps the most cunning and actively attacks humans, with cases of Tibetan Bears attacking people occurring every year.

People frequently eaten by Tibetan Bears know it pretends to be harmless, appearing naive and cute. But if you believe it is gentle and approach carelessly, it will suddenly launch an attack.

The creature’s strength is immense; it can smash ox skulls with a slap, car windows cannot block it.

It can even mimic humans waving from afar, enticing people to approach.

Currently, this bear was getting closer, now next to the three cars.

The situation could be described as extremely perilous.

Li Younan decided on the spot that he must immediately alert the people in the vehicles.

He quickly reached the driver’s seat, started the engine, and then turned on the vehicle’s spotlights.

The lights modified on the Unimog motorhome were exceptionally dazzling, and when fully powered, it appeared like a little sun on the opposite lane.

The intense beam pierced through the wilderness, yet to Li Younan’s surprise, the Tibetan Bear wasn’t frightened away by the strong light; instead, it slowly stood erect in the wild grass, presenting a seemingly harmless expression and curiously tilting its head this way.

From afar, it truly looked like a person standing in a thick cotton coat.

Honestly, it was a bit creepy.

The light indeed awakened the people inside the vehicle.

Being awakened so abruptly wasn’t pleasant, but Li Younan had no choice—he didn’t have the contact information of those inside the cars.

At that moment, the car window of the nearest vehicle to him was lowered, and the man who had previously greeted him, now bleary-eyed, poked his head out. Despite some irritation towards Li Younan, who had recently interacted with him amicably, he suppressed his emotions and asked, ”Bro, what’s up?”

Li Younan quickly leaned out and shouted, ”Bear! There’s a bear!”

The guy looked bewildered and hadn’t quite reacted, while the windows of the other two cars also descended sequentially.

One of the cars simply opened the door.

Li Younan immediately sensed something was wrong.

The driver of the opened door car approached, asking, ”What happened?”

Li Younan pointed behind them, ”Bear!”

At this point, the Tibetan Bear, instead of being scared, landed on its forelimbs, strolling over sluggishly.

Only then did the group understand, turning to see the bear just tens of meters away, scaring them out of their drowsiness, they clumsily scrambled back into their cars.

Li Younan didn’t sit idle either and repeatedly honked the horn loudly.

However, the blaring didn’t scare the bear; instead, it sped up, running towards them.

But anyhow, the drivers had noticed the bear and got into their cars smoothly, they should be half safe to say.

Yet there was a problem: they all had beds and adjusted seats in their cars to sleep on; even though they got in, they couldn’t drive away immediately, which was quite troublesome.

Then, in Li Younan’s view, surprisingly the Tibetan Bear faced the strong car lights and the shrill honking fearlessly, arriving beside the three compact cars.

Undoubtedly, the people inside the cars were trembling with fear by now—their vehicles didn’t have heavy armor or high chassis like Li Younan’s, ready to start at any critical moment.

Fortunately, they were all in their cars, this bear might have the ability to break through windows but might not be that smart.

Li Younan could only think so optimistically.

However, just when this thought arose, the next moment he was dumbfounded.

The bear, sniffing around with its nose, moved next to the SUV closest to him... and then stood up.

Its claws started to paw at the car door.

Click...

Suddenly... the car door opened.

Sleekly, it opened...

It wasn’t a case of the window being smashed, rather, without any warning, the door was opened from the outside.

At that moment, Li Younan felt as if the world had paused for a second.

Huh?

Even though he had seen plenty of grand scenes, this one made his brain stall a little.

No... Never mind why the bear could open the door....

These idiots didn’t lock their car doors upon getting in?!
