Leisurely Traveler with Check-in System

”We are now at the famous entrance of the Galongla Tunnel. The entire tunnel is about 3.6 kilometers long. Once you pass through the tunnel, you’ll reach the legendary Badaogai. Following the mountain road downwards, you’ll soon witness the wonders of transitioning from winter to spring and even into the tropical rainforest in my video.”

It was obvious she had just arrived here not long ago and was taking a short break.

Suddenly, a gust of wind blew in, causing her canopy to sway, frightening her into standing up immediately.

Fortunately, compared to a year or two ago, she had significantly improved her tent-pitching skills, with tent pegs firmly staked.

The wind seemed fierce, but it didn’t blow her canopy tent away.

She breathed a slight sigh of relief and sat down again.

Just then, a grand off-road vehicle, resembling a truck, slowly drove up from the roadside and stopped right in front of her.

At that moment, she was drinking from a thermos, her cheeks puffed up, and she stared bewilderedly at the vehicle.

What’s going on, stopping right in front of me?

This vehicle seems to be the legendary Unimog, if I’m not mistaken... Brother Li also has one of these.

Wait a minute, could it be his vehicle?

Liu Zhixin suddenly realized something and stood up immediately.

...

Li Younan parked the vehicle.

This time, Liu Li wasn’t sitting in the front passenger seat; she was in the living area at the back.

After stabilizing the vehicle, Li Younan first went to the living area.

Liu Li was using a chopstick to hold a piece of raw beef, feeding it to the Tuantuan in the cage.

Watching the owl obediently eat the beef strip, Liu Li cupped her face: ”You’re just like a Spearow.”

Liu Li always thought the Spearow from the Pokémon she watched as a kid must have been based on an owl, because those big eyes, only owls have them.

Thinking this, she added, ”It would be great if we had a Pokéball, you could pop right in if I tapped it on your head.”

She looked towards the driver’s seat, grinning mischievously: ”Tap it on Li Youran’s head as well and pack him inside.”

”Pack me where?”

As she muttered to herself, Li Younan came out of the driver’s seat.

Liu Li lowered her head and flicked her hair, casually saying, ”What packing? You heard wrong.”

Li Younan said, ”Let’s rest here for a bit. Outside is the famous Galongla Snow Mountain. We can check in and have a look.”

Liu Li nodded and said to Tuantuan, ”Stay put in here, don’t wander around. We’ll be right back.”

The owl was placed on the floor by Liu Li. It clumsily shuffled its feet, walking like an awkward hen.

Liu Li straightened her clothes and stood up: ”Let’s go.”

Li Younan nodded, thinking that Zhizhi outside must have already seen his vehicle by now.

He wondered if she was following his account. If she had been, she should have recognized the vehicle as his.

As he thought about this, Li Younan opened the living cabin’s door.

The next moment, a delighted voice rang out: ”Brother Li, it’s really you!”

In his sight was Zhizhi’s face, with an innocent touch of cuteness.

”When I saw your vehicle just now, I was wondering if it was you. I didn’t expect it to really be you! Oh my, I’m so excited, I didn’t expect to meet you here.”

”Hmm.” Li Younan stepped down the ladder, turned around, and saw Liu Li still standing at the doorway, looking at him puzzled. Her gaze shifted to Zhizhi.

”What’s up? Come down.”

Liu Li snapped back to reality and softly said, ”Oh.”

At that moment, Zhizhi was also observing Liu Li—she had always been a loyal fan of Li Younan, and naturally, always watched his videos.

This time, Li Younan’s journey with the Unimog on Route 318 had several videos shot from a third-person perspective, so it was clear that this trip wasn’t a solo one for him.

She hadn’t expected his companion to be such a girl.

Li Younan gave a simple introduction of the two girls to each other.

When introducing Zhizhi to Liu Li, he said, ”This is a friend I met when I first started doing social media.”

While introducing Liu Li to Zhizhi, he kept it even simpler: ”She’s a good friend of mine.”

Zhizhi didn’t ask about their relationship.

Meeting in a place like this was truly serendipitous.

At this moment, Zhizhi was completely immersed in the delightful experience of this serendipity. After getting out of the vehicle, she chatted away non-stop with Li Younan, just like before.

Since parting at Huang Mountain, Zhizhi actually took Li Younan’s advice and tried shooting some videos.

Unexpectedly, she really became popular over time—a pink second-hand POLO, a fresh graduate student—these keywords combined were quite catchy.

Having tasted success, she persisted.

Since they parted, she drove this second-hand POLO car on solo trips to many places within the country, and her skills kept improving.

At the beginning of the year, she also thought about doing the 318 route by herself.

Li Younan was quite impressed with Zhizhi’s courage, such a small girl taking on the journey alone with just a small POLO car, not even an off-road vehicle, daring to travel the 318.

”Brother Li, I really have to thank you.”

”Thank me for what?”

”If you hadn’t reminded me back then, nudged me a bit, I wouldn’t have thought about becoming a social media influencer. Now I have over a hundred thousand followers, hehe, though not as many as you, but I’m already very satisfied.”
