Leisurely Traveler with Check-in System

Because at the moment, Li Younan has not yet captured a photo of the golden sunlight on the mountains, and since he has already been here for a few days with too much sunk cost invested, he certainly can’t give up halfway.

Besides, Li Younan indeed enjoys the time spent living here, so he will probably stay until he can capture the image of the golden sunlight on the mountains.

Although there are quite a few places worth exploring nearby, and he can wander around the village, now that Jiatuo recognizes him, it generally won’t be too boring.

However, compared to interacting with the adults, it’s actually quite fun to interact with the children here.

It’s evident that the admiration these kids have for him is very pure, without any other motives.

So when these children come over, Li Younan is very happy to let them bring him some joy.

Their main purpose for coming here is curiosity, after all, they have never seen such an RV. In fact, even adults find it hard not to be curious about his RV.

Li Younan showed them the drone; for the kids, this is an extremely novel experience.

He let a child named Luobu Lake try flying it. He controlled the joystick nervously, glancing at Li Younan from time to time, afraid of crashing the drone.

However, overall, as long as one operates this fool-proof drone properly, there shouldn’t be too many problems.

After playing for a while, to Li Younan’s surprise, Luobu Lake proactively returned the drone and stopped other kids who wanted to play: ”What if you break it?”

”How is that fair, you got to play!”

”If you don’t listen to me, then don’t say I brought you here, you can go back and get punished yourselves.”

”...”

Obviously, Luobu Lake grasped the fate of these kids by the throat.

Since they came out of curiosity, they naturally had all sorts of strange questions.

In this era, it’s quite rare for people to have no contact with the outside world at all.

Although these kids are from the Tibetan Area highlands, they have access to television, mobile short videos, and they frequently meet all kinds of people along the 318 highway.

In short, they don’t lack windows to the outside world.

But after all, they have only heard and seen, not truly ventured out, so they are generally curious.

They surrounded Li Younan and Liu Li, chatting away with strange questions.

Li Younan told them: ”Our country is really big, now it’s one of the largest countries in the world. The east is very prosperous, with skyscrapers everywhere.”

Zeren Nimei asked: ”What is a skyscraper?”

One kid interjected: ”You don’t even know what a skyscraper is? You’re so ignorant, they’re just really tall buildings.”

”Have you seen one?”

”I haven’t, so I guess I’m also ignorant.”

Listening to the boys’ conversation, Li Younan found it amusing and suddenly interjected: ”Actually, none of us have probably seen it.”

Liu Li slightly raised an eyebrow and glanced at Li Younan.

Li Younan said: ”Even if you haven’t seen real skyscrapers, people living in skyscrapers might not have seen real glaciers and snow-capped mountains either.”

”Back when I was studying in the east, there was a classmate who couldn’t believe that people could be sold into the mountains and never come out. To him, if you were sold to the mountains, you could just run out.”

”He never saw real mountains and didn’t know that a mountain could be so vast it takes months to walk out.”

”Isn’t that ignorance too?”

”We should sell him here!”

”Uh...”

Li Younan’s words were merely spoken casually, but Liu Li by his side listened intently and pondered, nodding lightly.

After chatting for a while, the kids began playing wildly around Li Younan’s RV, curiously looking around.

Zeren Nimei crawled under the vehicle and was dragged out by Luobu Lake for a beating—it seems Luobu Lake is Zeren Nimei’s cousin.

The other boys were also playing wildly, but none of them ran far, remaining within the sight of Li Younan and Liu Li.

The kids here don’t have many electronic devices to play with, so they play with mud and run around crazily, yet they are very happy, seemingly more genuine smiles than those on the children’s faces in the city that Li Younan has seen.

They are truly carefree, able to laugh heartily over little things.

For example, when others saw Luobu Lake hit Zeren Nimei, they laughed loudly; Zeren Nimei cried and, angrily used his head to butt Luobu Lake’s belly, knocking him to the ground, and the surrounding kids laughed heartily again, then even Zeren Nimei and Luobu Lake joined in the laughter.

Watching this scene, Li Younan felt a peculiar sensation, and when he thought about the urban children, he felt a mix of emotions.

After a while, the group of kids ran to the nearby bushes and broke off some branches, running around.

At Luobu Lake’s suggestion, they used yarn pulled from a child’s sweater to fasten both ends of a branch, making a toy bow. They also cut a straighter branch for an arrow, competing to see who could shoot further.

Seeing them having fun, Li Younan suggested he wanted to join: ”Can I try too?”

Zeren Nimei thought for a moment and said: ”Do you want to compete with us to see who can shoot furthest? Then you should make your own bow, you have too much strength, you’ll break ours.”
