Leisurely Traveler with Check-in System

Liu Li trotted over to the window in her slippers, glanced out, then turned around: ”Wait for me, I’ll go change.”

...

Li Younan held his camera, shifting back and forth to try and find the perfect angle for the shot.

In no time, Liu Li changed her clothes and came out.

She quickly ran to the lakeside, gazing at the sunrise’s golden touch on the mountain, and her eyes started to glisten.

Li Younan felt moved in his heart and suddenly pointed the camera at her, pressing the shutter.

At this moment, Liu Li was wearing a simple light-colored jacket, her long hair swept up in the morning breeze, as she looked sideways at the snowy mountains across the lake.

The morning sun outlined a gentle golden rim around her, and her hair and the hem of her coat subtly shone in the light.

Her gaze fell on the main peak of the sunrise glow, her expression calm and focused, without posing deliberately, just naturally standing there.

Behind her, the lake mirrored the mountain’s golden reflection, nearby dry grass bathed in the golden glow, blending Liu Li’s silhouette with the snowy mountains and lakescape, clear and harmonious.

Liu Li realized something, turned her head, and said something in Tibetan to Li Younan with a playful tone.

Li Younan looked baffled, blinking his eyes.

Liu Li showed a mischievous smile, turned again to face the lake view, and cupped her hands around her mouth, loudly shouting into the distance.

...

When Li Younan captured this photo, the checkpoint task was actually completed, but he didn’t stop and continued to snap a few more beautiful pictures.

The sunrise glow on the mountain didn’t last very long, but being able to see it even once was already fortunate enough.

After the glow ended, Liu Li went to prepare breakfast, while Li Younan sat at the booth reviewing the photos, browsing through the new skills acquired.

This was yet another intriguing skill for Li Younan.

[Checkpoint Task Completed]

[Skill Acquired: Ship Navigation]

[Due to the host possessing skills like electrical, vehicle driving, radio, electrical work, vehicle maintenance, etc... Ship navigation skills stack +1]

[Ship Navigation LV.2: In narrow waterways with fierce winds and rolling waves, you adjust the rudder with one hand, letting the ship accurately navigate past hidden reefs, like threading a needle, steadily advancing, eyes never leaving the radar’s bouncing marks.]

Wow.

With this ship navigation skill, it seems there’s another new game to play.

And aside from bestowing the corresponding skill, this perverse system also, as with the previously acquired radio skills, provided him with certifications.

The core document for ship navigation is the crew competency certificate, and Li Younan’s certificate is the highest level, class A, allowing him to navigate large vessels globally.

Currently, Li Younan possesses swimming skills, deep-sea diving skills, and now has mastered the skill to navigate a ship.

”When you have a hammer, you look for that nail,” the old saying started to echo again.

Although Li Younan was still on the plateau, he couldn’t help but imagine maybe getting a ship to sail the seas could be quite fun.

But when he thought about the cost of a ship, he started to fret again.

Previously, through the ”Alone in the Wilderness” program, he suddenly became a real millionaire, feeling he no longer needs to bend over backward for money, able to enjoy the freedom of traveling life.

However, this system seemed somewhat dissatisfied with Li Younan’s laid-back attitude, quickly conjuring up such a skill.

Looks like he’ll have to find a way to earn money.

A real bittersweet feeling.

Liu Li prepared breakfast, which consisted of simple buttered tea today.

Previously at Jiatuo’s house, she had it once. Tibetan butter tea has several ways of preparation, the simplest is to put barley flour, cheese curd, and butter in a bowl, then pour in black tea to soak.

A slightly more complex version involves blending these ingredients with a mixer, then cooking it into something like soy milk.

For Han people, the latter is more palatable.

Besides buttered tea, Liu Li also used a rice cooker to make a small baked cake.

After breakfast, Li Younan told Liu Li that perhaps it was time to set out.

Liu Li had been expecting this; she seemed to understand what Li Younan had been waiting for here.

As they prepared to leave, it started snowing again.

Everything was packed up, and all garbage bagged to be disposed of at roadside trash bins.

After all this fuss, it was nearly noon when the children came around again.

When Li Younan told them he was leaving, the children all showed puzzled expressions, as if they suddenly lost something, a wave of sadness swept through them.

Especially little Zeren Nimei, who couldn’t help but burst into tears.

The snow fell thicker, and Li Younan and Liu Li comforted the children for a long time, then brought them into the RV, driving them from the highway to the village entrance to let them off.

Finally, when they officially left, Zeren Nimei chased the RV down the road, only to trip and fall face-first into the snow.

Liu Li couldn’t bear to see such a scene, piling tissues on the table, with her nose red and eyes swollen.

No gathering lasts forever.

Stopping the RV, Li Younan went to the living area to comfort Liu Li.

Liu Li huddled aggrieved in Li Younan’s embrace, which left Li Younan momentarily perplexed.

Liu Li glared fiercely at Li Younan: ”What’s with that look? Can’t you be pure? Just... just borrowing your shoulder for a lean.”

Saying that, she fiercely wiped her tears with the shoulder of Li Younan’s clothes.
