Leisurely Traveler with Check-in System

Li Younan calmly said, ”For this journey, I am of course the latter.”

”Hmm?”

Li Younan glanced at Liu Li, ”You count as part of the world too.”

Liu Li was stunned.

Li Younan was very satisfied with her reaction and strolled away humming a tune.

Liu Li blinked and rubbed her cheeks vigorously, ”Is this flirting?”

...

In the days that followed, Li Younan and Liu Li continued living here.

The probability of witnessing the golden sunrise over the snow-capped mountains was surprisingly low, but it didn’t really matter.

Then, those little kids came back several times. Besides letting them experience fun things like archery, Li Younan also taught them and talked about interesting things outside.

The kids were easy to entertain; no matter what Li Younan said, they listened intently.

The children liked him and Liu Li very much.

Compared to Li Younan who occasionally gave the children surprises, Liu Li acted like a caring big sister; two or three girls among the kids would quietly chat with Liu Li.

Liu Li practiced the Tibetan language she learned from online courses with them.

Naturally, Liu Li’s Tibetan still didn’t get the approval of Zeren Nimei.

However, she was quite proud of herself.

In this regard, Li Younan quite admired Liu Li—because every time she spoke Tibetan, the kids would laugh heartily, a kind of innocent ridicule, yet it didn’t deter Liu Li from speaking bravely.

Afterwards, Li Younan used the Thangka painting style to draw each of them a pattern similar to Thangka on some cards he had bought before.

Not Buddha figures, but some interesting animals, then sealed them with transparent tape so they could be preserved for a long time, giving each of them one.

One day, their supplies in the car ran out, so Li Younan rode a motorcycle to the village to shop.

There was a vegetable-selling truck that would come to the village, usually every few days.

Li Younan bought some fresh vegetables and got some yak meat from Jiatuo.

By this time, Liu Li could already converse with Jiatuo in gibberish, which left Li Younan quite amazed.

Was Liu Li’s linguistic talent really that good?

He secretly pulled Jiatuo aside and asked him how Liu Li’s Tibetan was.

Jiatuo said, ”Your girlfriend’s Tibetan isn’t standard, but we can understand her with some guesswork.”

Evidently, Jiatuo appreciated a Han person interested in the Tibetan language, which even made him feel proud of his ethnic language.

Thus, Li Younan and Liu Li lived by the icy lake for a good ten days, completely familiar with the villagers and the kids around here.

Occasionally, some adults came to visit Li Younan because his Thangka painting and cattle slaughtering stories had spread throughout the village.

Some Tibetan villagers even brought them fresh butter, cheese, and tsampa.

However, there were some misunderstandings, like when a government official came to visit. Initially, Li Younan was unsure why, but after chatting for a while, he was surprised to realize the official thought he was planning to live here permanently, and quickly explained he would leave after a while.

Finally, one morning, Li Younan, still in his dreams, felt a golden hue before him. Drowsily opening his eyes, he saw that the ever-open window let in golden rays shining on his eyes.

He felt a surge of excitement, quickly sat up, pulled aside the blackout curtain, and looked outside to a breathtaking scene.

Outside, Ranwu Lake was still steeped in the early morning chill, with a thin mist like a cicada wing covering the surface.

The snow-capped mountains across the lake were now cast in a scorching golden glow from the sunrise, starting from the peaks, the golden hue slowly spreading down the steep snow ridges, first illuminating the sharp crests in a dazzling light, then gradually dyeing the once pure white slopes into a warm orange-gold and pale yellow, with distinct layers.

The snow on the mountain walls glistened in the golden light, with some places where wind-eroded ice ridges now reflecting a dazzling sparkle.

The tallest main peak in the distance stood out, its summit completely enveloped in a dignified and sacred golden light.

The mist over the lake gradually dispersed, perfectly reflecting the snow mountains’ golden reflection in the water, the boundaries between the shimmering water and the golden light blurred.

Even the dead grass by the lakeside and the nearby piles of Mani stones were softly outlined by this golden light, leaving only pure gold and clear blue in the entire world, the environment utterly quiet.

Li Younan softened his breathing subconsciously.

He walked to Liu Li’s bed, hesitated for a moment, and gently called twice, ”Brother Long, Brother Long.”

A dazed and faint response came from behind the privacy curtain, ”Hmm...”

”Get up quickly, you’ll regret it if you don’t see this.”

”What’s happening?”

”Something incredibly beautiful.”

Li Younan knew girls have no resistance to such things, and as soon as he finished his words, Liu Li’s voice sounded a bit more alert.

With a quick ”Hmm,” there was movement behind the privacy curtain, and Liu Li sat up abruptly.

She pulled open the curtain, poked her head out, and gently rubbed her slightly sleepy eyes.

Seeing this, Li Younan pulled the main window curtain completely open and signaled her to look at the outside.

When Liu Li looked outside, she immediately parted her lips slightly, her eyes full of astonishment.

Next, she suddenly crawled out from the privacy curtain.

Li Younan was momentarily stunned—the scene was a complete blanket of white...
