Caught in Affairs with Superstar

Chapter 440: Chapter 346: Live Interview_4

Song Chi laughed: ”True.”

When Song Chi accompanied Zhou Yun into the television station, all the staff were astonished.

Many of them knew Zhou Yun would come for the live interview today, but they didn’t know Song Chi would come with her.

This was a delightful surprise indeed.

Especially for many young girls, seeing Song Chi made their faces flush with excitement.

Don’t think people in this industry get less excited seeing celebrities, they just get to see celebrities’ glamorous exteriors and often their less attractive reality more frequently.

But when they meet someone who is genuinely charismatic and consistent inside and out, they still idolize, respect, and even love them passionately.

At 7:10, the makeup artist came to apply makeup on Zhou Yun.

Twenty minutes later, the host came to communicate with Zhou Yun for the last time.

At 7:55, Zhou Yun sat in front of the camera, waiting for instructions from the director.

Song Chi stood behind the camera with the other staff, smiling warmly at her.

Seeing her look at him, he gave her a thumbs up.

Zhou Yun smiled sweetly.

The host asked, ”Can I mention that Song Chi is also here during the segment later?”

Zhou Yun thought for a moment and responded, ”You should ask for his opinion on that.”

The host immediately called out loudly: ”Song Chi, can we mention that you are also on set during the broadcast? I asked Zhou Yun, and she suggested asking your opinion.”

All the staff turned in surprise toward Song Chi.

Song Chi, with his arms crossed over his chest, smiled and said, ”That’s fine, but I look a bit rough today, so better keep the camera off me.”

The host gestured OK with a smile.

”Thank you for coming to our show,” said the host. ”My girlfriend is a big fan of yours; she insisted that I get an autograph from you today because you’d be here.”

Zhou Yun nodded and said cheerfully, ”No problem.”

Just then, the voice from the director came through their earpieces, ”Live broadcast countdown, one minute.”

Zhou Yun cleared her throat.

The host noticed only sponsored bottled water in front of Zhou Yun, quickly gestured, and said, ”Can we get a cup of warm water for Zhou Yun?”

Someone immediately went to fetch it.

Half a minute later, a cup of warm water was placed on the desk.

Zhou Yun expressed her thanks.

Took a sip of the warm water.

The live broadcast began.

...

This morning news program has many viewers, but half of them listen through car radios, hearing only sounds.

”Welcome Zhou Yun to our show. A month ago, Zhou Yun won the best actress award at the Venice International Film Festival in the Horizons Unit, an incredible achievement!” praised the host right from the start, ”Many of my friends have been eagerly awaiting the film that won Zhou Yun this award. The movie has a very ordinary name, called ’Life’. Xiao Yun, could you please introduce to our audience why this movie was named that?”

Zhou Yun began, ”As to why the film is called this, you’d have to ask Director Wen since he wrote the script and named it. From my understanding, the movie captures the ordinary moments of a couple’s life—laughing, crying, arguing, making up, holding hands, kissing, grocery shopping, and dining together. When we reminisce about a relationship with someone, it’s often these details we remember that build our memories.”

”What role do you play in this film?”

”To be accurate, I play a man’s memory, his girlfriend in his recollections.”

”And who plays this man? I couldn’t find that information.”

”You’ll need to go to the cinema to find out; it’s a secret, and it wouldn’t be fun if I told you now.”

”Well, I thought I might get a preview from you today. I can’t wait to see this movie. A friend of mine attended an internal screening and told me that your performance was incredibly nuanced, hardly like a newcomer. He described it to me, saying you have the empathic ability that would make every young actress envious.”

”Please, don’t say that. There are many incredible actresses out there whom I admire for their talent.”

”Xiao Yun, is there any young actress you would like to collaborate with?”

”I’d really like to work with Sister Ning Yao; I met her at the Venice Film Festival and she greatly encouraged me.”

”Ning Yao also mentioned in a media interview that your performance was impressive.”

...

”Being the hottest movie actress and recently going public with your relationship, I guess it’s hard to schedule time, right?”

”Yes, it’s a bit tough. When two people are together, however much time you have is never enough, but we both fully support each other’s work.”

”Haha, indeed very supportive. Audience friends may not know, but at this very moment, Song Chi is here at our studio. You have no idea, I was shocked when I saw Song Chi accompanying Zhou Yun into the studio. I must admit, even though I love my girlfriend and support her, I’ve never gone to this extent; I really need to reflect on this.”

A whistle bursts out from the studio.

Zhou Yun waved her hand, saying, ”He happened to be free today, so said he’d go for breakfast with me after my segment.”

”Wow, you two are in a phase where it’s hard to part from each other, right?”

”Hmm, no, I can’t fall into your trap. I’m here to promote the film today.”

”Hahaha, alright, let’s get back on track. ’Life’ premiere will also have a premiere event, right? Can I ask if Song Chi will attend the premiere?”

”Ah, Mr. Zhisen, why are you so nosy?”

”It’s not me; everyone wants to know.”

”Well, if everyone wants to know, they should watch the live broadcast of the ’Life’ premiere.”

”Xiao Yun, you really have a tight lip, there’s nothing I can do. Audience friends, don’t blame me, I really tried my best.” The host laughed, ”Alright, our interview today must end here. Thank you,Zhou Yun, for joining our program and thanks to our off-camera support Song Chi too. Thank you! Let’s take a short commercial break, and see you after that.”

The live broadcast of the interview ended here.
