Chapter 439: Chapter 346: Interview Livestream (Part 3)

Song Chi stepped aside, allowing Zhou Yun to re-enter the room.

He still stood at the doorway, maintaining the posture, watching Zhou Yun hurriedly getting dressed.

”I thought we could have breakfast together today.”

Zhou Yun asked, ”Do you have other plans this morning?”

”I have a meeting at ten,” he said.

”Then why don’t you come with me?” Zhou Yun said, ”The live interview starts at eight and will be over by eight thirty, we can have breakfast together.”

Song Chi raised an eyebrow, asking, ”Are you really inviting me to go with you?”

”We don’t need to pretend anymore since everyone knows we’re together,” Zhou Yun said, now fully dressed, she walked across the carpet barefoot to Song Chi, tiptoed, and kissed him on the lips, ”If you’re coming, then hurry up and get dressed. I can’t wait for you.”

Song Chi smiled joyously, ”Give me three minutes.”

Jeans, T-shirt, and a jacket.

Done in one minute.

Zhou Yun was rummaging for a new toothbrush in the bathroom.

Song Chi directly picked up a set of toothbrush and cup from the shelf, placed it in front of her, and said, ”I’ve already prepared these for you.”

Both of them stood in front of the mirror brushing their teeth together.

White foam squeezed out from both of their mouths.

Zhou Yun saw an exhilarating glee on Song Chi’s face.

She found it funny yet touching.

After washing their faces and brushing their teeth, they went downstairs together.

At this moment, dawn was just breaking, with a trace of first light in the sky.

Song Chi took Zhou Yun’s hand as they walked to the parking lot and got into the car under the astonished gaze of Cao Jun and Zheng Xiaojue.

Zheng Xiaojue asked in surprise, ”Is Brother Chi coming with us too?”

Song Chi stretched his legs, asking, ”Are you happy if Brother Chi comes along with you?”

Zheng Xiaojue blinked, saying, ”If Brother Chi treats us to breakfast, we’d be happy.”

Song Chi chuckled, then said to Zhou Yun, ”Your assistant, who usually looks so innocent, turns out to be quite capable.”

Zhou Yun, holding a mirror, combed her hair with a smile, saying, ”That’s good, she won’t be taken advantage of outside.”

Seeing this, Song Chi took the mirror from her, holding it up for her.

Zhou Yun concentrated on tidying her messy hair.

”Sister Xiao Yun, here’s the outline of questions for the upcoming live interview, Sister Lan asked you to prepare in advance,” Zheng Xiaojue handed over a stapled stack of A4 paper from the front passenger seat, ”Sister Lan also had someone specifically draft the answers.”

The live interview aimed to promote ”Life”, with Yao Yuanfeng specially arranging this promotional opportunity with the television station.

Zhou Yun flipped through the outline, mainly divided into three parts: the behind-the-scenes anecdotes of her shooting ”Life”, her views on the acting profession, and balancing love and career.

Since Zhou Yun didn’t agree to talk about her relationship with Song Chi on the show, the program team had to skirt around the issue.

Zhou Yun frowned, reading the question: ”How do you balance filming and being in a relationship?”

She wanted to remove this third part; these questions made her uncomfortable.

But looking at the time, it seemed too late to change a large segment of the content for live broadcast.

Zhou Yun hesitated for a moment but suppressed the thought.

Song Chi asked, ”What question is troubling you?”

Zhou Yun said, ”They’re going to ask me how to balance love and career, and when I plan to get married, things like that.”

Song Chi understood at once.

”These topics are what the audience cares about.”

”I know, I just don’t like publicly discussing these issues,” Zhou Yun said, ”Honestly, I feel these topics are nobody else’s business. Everyone has their own way of living; I don’t want my lifestyle and attitudes publicly scrutinized or discussed by others.”

Song Chi pondered for a moment, then said, ”It’s six thirty now, an hour and a half away from the broadcast; we still have time to contact them to change the interview outline.”

”Forget it, it would cause them a lot of trouble. I’ll talk to Sister Lan, we’ll communicate better next time, let’s leave it this time,” Zhou Yun said.

Song Chi held Zhou Yun’s hand, ”You have every right to make such requests.”

”If someone told me right when I’m preparing to act that the script has completely changed, asking me to familiarize with the new script within ten minutes and perform accordingly, I would remember that person for a lifetime, and constantly bring up and curse that person on various occasions, so I don’t want to be that kind of person.”
