Rebirth: General, Don't Mess Around!

Female soldiers come as logistical support, and they will have bulletproof gear, but since their range of activities is within the camp, they will not be fully armed unless they go out on patrol.

Ye Jian truly hoped the female soldiers could join the patrol team, as it would be a rare opportunity for their growth, but considering safety issues, she did not actively suggest it.

She was reluctant to see them getting into trouble in this dangerous land. While she could accept injuries, the thought of sacrifice was too heavy for her to face.

Squad leader Yang Zhen replied to Ye Jian with a smile, ”Yes, we’ve joined the patrol team. The colonels only agreed after we passed a comprehensive test. Instructor, don’t worry, we will take good care of ourselves!”

She saw the worry in Ye Jian’s eyes and comforted her at the first opportunity.

”Your decision is good, but you must remember, when facing any danger, the first thing on your mind should never be sacrifice, but to protect your own and your comrades’ safety. The country trains you not to sacrifice at the drop of a hat. Remember, you have a long, long way ahead of you, and you must walk it well.”

Once upon a time, Grandpa Gen and Principal Chen told Ye Jian the same, and Xia Jinyuan had said similar words. Now, Ye Jian was passing these words on to the female soldiers, thus continuing a legacy from one generation to the next.

The female soldiers deeply understood Ye Jian’s intentions, taking her advice to their ears and to their hearts.

”Does the country know that you’ve joined the patrol team? Did they put forward any opinions?” Ye Jian asked. Battalion Commander Tian was very protective; without his approval, it would probably be a headache for the higher-ups.

Yang Zhen said, ”Yes, the battalion commander agreed, and even stated that he supports our decision.”

Why did Battalion Commander Tian agree to let them join the patrol team? As the battalion commander, he had multiple considerations.

Actually, the female soldiers’ main duties were logistics, which minimized the risks, while also allowing them to experience the cruelty of the battlefield for the first time. However, experiencing the cruelty of the battlefield from afar was different from directly confronting it, which could lead to rapid growth in the female soldiers.

Because the female soldiers are not just soldiers, they are also our country’s first female special combat team! They must directly confront the brutalities of the battlefield and become more composed, calm, and understanding of the significance of their regular training.

Why did the higher-ups agree as well?

The reason is simple. What Battalion Commander Tian could consider, they could too. In fact, they had been waiting for the female soldiers to volunteer to join the patrol team on their own initiative.

Therefore, when Yang Zhen made the request, the colonels did not refuse, but instead put the female soldiers through a comprehensive test. Once they passed, he reported it to the higher-ups, and the country agreed to let the female soldiers join the patrol mission.

Initially the main force of logistics, the female soldiers could now participate in patrols and face possible combat situations. There could be no better live-fire training for them than this mission.

Having combat experience in Lyabi would greatly help the female soldiers, and even the entire female special forces team’s future development.

The female soldiers were actually very clear about why the country agreed. After communicating with Battalion Commander Tian over the phone, they could better understand his well-meant intentions.

When it was necessary to select female soldiers to go to Libya for peacekeeping, it was Battalion Commander Tian who actively contended and guaranteed that the female soldiers would be up to the task.

Battalion Commander Tian hoped that the female soldiers would achieve great results, allowing the higher-ups to see the growth of the female soldiers and to confidently entrust future missions to them.

Having been established for so long, the female soldiers had to make some significant accomplishments.
