Rebirth: General, Don't Mess Around!

Cyril, who was injured in the arm and sitting in the car bandaging himself, received a phone call. After listening, his face twisted several times as he grinded his teeth, extremely reluctant to evacuate the hotel.

The army had arrived, and he did not want to make enemies with the military.

Cyril’s car was the first to leave the hotel, driving away right under the noses of the police and the army. His hundreds of armed subordinates also evacuated one after another.

Neither side fired easily, each gripping their guns tightly, ready to open fire immediately if the other showed any unusual signs.

The hotel was full of guests, and the military also did not want to engage Cyril in this kind of place, because President feared that the maniacal Cyril would have his subordinates slaughter the hotel guests, and then the incident would have escalated significantly.

As Cyril’s men evacuated the hotel, the police and army entered and quickly took control of the entire hotel, and the shadow of fear that had hung over the hotel for two full hours finally began to dissipate slowly.

Ye Jian, G3, and Alice left the room and met up with T6 and V8, while Z7 continued to keep a close watch outside; Xia Jinyuan and White Crane were blocking Noah, who was struggling to move with an injured leg.

With the dim green light of the floor sign lamps in the stairwell, Noah looked at the man standing in front of him, his face slowly losing its shock, ”You, you must not be mercenaries.”

The tone was very certain.

Xia Jinyuan smiled, ”No, of course we are mercenaries. Mr. Will needed our help, and for the sake of money, we were very willing to help him.”

”We are mercenaries, but obviously Mr. Noah is not Mr. Will’s bodyguard.”

He was like a cat leisurely toying with a mouse trapped in a corner.

Noah sneered. They might not admit it, but he knew these guys were definitely not mercenaries, ”Was it you who rescued Alice?”

”Mr. Will asked us to come here specifically to rescue Alice, and now that we have rescued her, it’s not surprising.” Xia Jinyuan’s fingers slowly squeezed the pistol trigger, ”You are the person Mr. Will needs dealt with, and we follow Mr. Will’s orders.”

Noah’s hands trembling lightly on the stair railing, this time, he genuinely heard the call of the God of Death, ”Before you kill me, please tell me, are you Chinese soldiers?”

He wanted to know if he had been doomed from the start, beaten by the Chinese army, which he had always looked down upon.

”We are mercenaries.” With a small smile at the corner of his mouth and a cold look in his eyes, Xia Jinyuan pulled the trigger. The gunshots echoed in the narrow stairwell, not loud enough to be heard through a wall.

Sliding down the handrail and tumbling down the stairs, Noah fell in the corner, dying without ever getting an answer.

White Crane confirmed Noah’s death, and came up the stairs smiling, ”We should also retreat.”

Turning on the closed radios, Xia Jinyuan’s low voice transmitted into the ears of all his comrades, Z7 retreated from the lobby. Ye Jian, who had already met up with T6 and V8, murmured an ”Mm,” her voice pleasantly filled with laughter.

They could now leave Molaban.

The staff of the Chinese Embassy arrived at the hotel as quickly as possible, with the first room they visited being the one T6 had stayed in; they spoke with a family of three, and Alice saw her child in a hotel room, literally separated by just one wall.

At two in the morning, the Chinese Embassy arranged for vehicles to take all the Chinese guests staying at the hotel to another hotel, where Alice and her two children were handed over to the Chinese Embassy.
