The Female CEO's Personal Bodyguard

Chapter 378: Chapter 378: Want to Live? Get down on your knees and beg me!_1

”Slap!”

The crisp sound of a slap echoed in the middle of the Martial Battle Arena.

Josephine Harrison was sent staggering by Carson Flores’s slap, falling directly to the ground, her face swelling up instantly, with clear finger marks on her cheek.

Josephine covered her face with her hand, her head buzzing, her cheek burning, filled with bitter resentment.

Being slapped in front of hundreds of people!

This would become the shame of her life!

Shaking her head, Josephine stood up, reined in her resentful and angry gaze, and said in a deep voice, ”You’ve had your way, now can you start treating my great-grandmother?”

Carson Flores laughed, ”Had my way? How does that work, a slap in exchange for the life of an Innate Great Grandmaster? Who do you think you are? Is your face that important?”

Carson’s merciless words felt like another heavy slap to her, bringing strong humiliation.

Josephine was dying of shame but dared not do anything, not even utter a single curse.

”So what else do you want to do?”

Carson responded indifferently, ”The remaining matters don’t concern you, get lost.”

Josephine bit her lip and turned to leave, feeling humiliated but simultaneously letting out a sigh of relief.

She would no longer be humiliated!

It was no longer her concern!

I’ll just wait, wait to see how you die after you’ve saved the person!

Carson lifted his head, giving a slight smile to the cold-faced Zayne Shepherd, ”Now the frustration in my heart has eased a bit!”

Zayne Shepherd said coldly, ”Time is limited, state your demands!”

”Direct!”

Carson smiled and turned his head towards Jensen Meadows, ”Jensen Meadows, it’s your turn now!”

The crowd buzzed with surprise.

Jensen Meadows was the junior Sect Master of the Divine Cloudy Sect. Was Carson intent on not reconciling at all?

Was he going to fight it out to the end?

As the junior Sect Master, Jensen’s perspective was naturally not comparable to Josephine’s. Without Zayne urging him, he stepped forward on his own, stood in front of Carson, and cupped his fists.

”Carson, I indeed have a conflict with you, do what you will for revenge, but once you’ve had your way, please remember to save Elder Rocky Stein!”

Carson laughed, ”Truly worthy of being the junior Sect Master, far better than certain young girls who only know how to bully others. You do have some responsibility after all.”

Jensen said in a deep voice, ”To save time, please, make your move, no matter what you want to do to me, I won’t resist.”

Carson laughed, ”You speak quite nobly, but unfortunately, a beating meant for you must be taken, regardless of your words. Trying to corner me with your words is useless, I don’t buy into that.”

Jensen felt a weight in his heart; he had shown weakness right off the bat, to highlight his responsibility as the junior Sect Master and tried to pin Carson down with his words, secretly hoping Carson would let him off the hook. But obviously, Carson saw through him.

As Jensen was still pondering what to say, Carson suddenly lifted his foot and kicked him in the chest.

Gang Qi burst forth like a blade, penetrating his body in an instant.

Jensen was sent flying like a cannonball, spewing out blood before hitting the ground hard.

Carson slowly withdrew his foot and said coldly, ”Lie in bed and reflect on yourself.”

Jensen held his chest, slowly stood up, wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth, and without a word, gradually left the arena.

He wouldn’t throw out any threats, for that might only enrage Carson, making this kick in vain.

Right now, his priority was to make Carson act and heal Elder Rocky.

He’ll take care of him later!

Carson paid no heed to Jensen and instead walked at an easy pace towards the faction of the Divine Cloudy Sect, finally stopping two meters away from Rocky Stein.

Zayne Shepherd said in a firm tone, ”You’ve had your fill now, can you start saving lives?”

Carson laughed, ”I’ve vented nearly enough, just one last step to go. Once I feel fully relieved, I will naturally save the person.”

Zayne’s heart sank. Carson began with humiliating Josephine and beat Jensen mercilessly. Both of them had offended Carson, so who was next?

Himself?

Rocky Stein?

Zayne actually started to feel nervous, but with lives at stake, he had no choice and said directly, ”What’s your final demand? Don’t be insatiable, just say it.”

Carson smiled faintly, ”Of course, I am a reasonable man, just one last demand.”

Zayne first breathed a sigh of relief, but then tensed up again.

This demand must be anything but simple!

The first, Josephine, was just a junior member; the second, Jensen, was the junior Sect Master. So who would the third be?

Himself?

Rocky Stein?

It was evident that Carson’s actions were to humiliate the Divine Cloudy Sect and to vent the anger from his heart. Did he want Rocky Stein to apologize to him now?

As Zayne speculated, Carson said, ”Rocky Stein, if you want to live, kneel down and beg me!”
