The Female CEO's Personal Bodyguard

Chapter 368: Chapter 368: I saw Westin Flores’s son!_1

”Man, go for it! You must win!”

Carson Flores was eating when he saw the message from Camille Rhodes and laughed.

Carson Flores, ”Did you hear that from your brother?”

Camille Rhodes, ”Yeah, I heard you’re going to have a big fight with the old man from the Acevedo Family this morning. I wanted to come over to cheer you on, but thinking of the troubles you already have, I decided not to add to the chaos.”

Carson Flores, ”This fight was inevitable. Since it’s come to this, it’s a good opportunity to settle it. Wait for my good news.”

Camille Rhodes, ”I heard from my brother that the Rhodes Family hasn’t taken your side like the Martinez Family, Johnston Family, and Firzgerald Family have. Aren’t you mad?”

Carson Flores, ”Not at all, on the contrary, I feel relieved.”

Camille Rhodes, ”Why?”

Carson Flores, ”If they blindly took my side without considering wins or losses, it would be awkward for me to turn against them if they decide to pull rank later on. Now it’s much better, I have no psychological burden. Did you say something to them? I notice your dad and the Rhodes Family patriarch looking at me strangely...”

Camille Rhodes, ”I just scolded them a bit... As long as you’re not angry. The issues between you and me are our own and have nothing to do with others. If I’ve caused you trouble, don’t be mad at me!”

Carson Flores, ”If there’s trouble, I’ll take care of it for you. After all, I’m your man.”

Camille Rhodes, ”My man, love you, muah! Next time, I’ll wear black stockings for you!”

Carson Flores was amused.

Camille Rhodes truly understands a man’s heart!

Your own troubles can rely on a man, but family troubles should be handled yourself, so as not to bother your man.

Sitting opposite him, Trevor Knight said with a laugh, ”With a big fight looming and you can still laugh so easily and happily, I guess there mustn’t be any problem today.”

Carson Flores smiled, ”Nash Acevedo is just a guard dog. After beating the guard dog, the master has to show up, right? Otherwise, wouldn’t he lose all face? It’s not difficult to beat Nash Acevedo, but dealing with the subsequent troubles will be hard.”

Trevor Knight chuckled, ”Didn’t Tobias Singleton say that the Martial Battle Arena would intervene?”

Carson Flores smiled lightly, ”They just want to use me as a blade; there’s no need to take it seriously.”

Trevor Knight’s eyes shone as he said with a chuckle, ”Brother Carson, you figured it out, huh? I was worried that you were too young to see through it.”

Carson Flores laughed, ”The enemy of my enemy is my friend. Even if we’re using each other, it’s still good.”

After breakfast, Carson Flores arrived at the Martial Battle Arena, a space specifically for the southwest gathering. Although it was still a while before ten o’clock, the area around the Martial Battle Arena was already packed with people, at least several hundred.

”Brother Carson, if you win this battle, you’ll be famous throughout the southwest, even nationally known!”

Carson Flores smiled and shook his head.

Carson Flores did not want to be famous; fame could bring relative influence, but it would also draw a lot more attention.

Carson Flores still wanted to find out about his past, and he didn’t want his every move to be watched by others.

Carson Flores’s gaze swept over the crowd and he suddenly had a thought, turning his head to ask, ”Old Trevor, do you know Johnny Gross from the Martial Battle Arena?”

Trevor Knight laughed, ”I’ve seen him a few times.”

Carson Flores asked, ”Can you see if he’s here for me?”

Trevor Knight turned his head toward the crowd. After a while, he laughed, ”On the right, behind that post, that group of people are all from the Martial Battle Arena. The old man with white hair sitting in the chair at the front is Johnny Gross.”

Carson Flores looked in the direction Trevor Knight mentioned, and soon, he spotted Johnny Gross.

Johnny Gross looked to be in his eighties, with white hair and a red complexion, exuding a bit of a celestial aura.

When Carson Flores’s eyes fell on Johnny Gross, Johnny Gross’s gaze also swept over, resting on Carson Flores’s face, revealing a puzzled and thoughtful expression.

Carson Flores slightly narrowed his eyes, thought for a moment, then turned and walked toward Johnny Gross.

He planned to take this opportunity to extend an invitation to Johnny Gross.

However, Carson Flores had only taken a few steps when Johnny Gross’s expression abruptly changed. With a swish, he stood up and turned to leave with hurried steps, looking like he was fleeing.

Carson Flores was stunned. What was going on?

Why did the man run after making eye contact?

Thinking back on Johnny Gross’s scrutinizing gaze, a thought flashed through Carson Flores’s mind. He resembled his father in appearance, and when Johnny Gross knew his father, he was about the same age Carson Flores was now. This meant that his current appearance should be similar to his father’s back then.

Had Johnny Gross recognized him?

His abrupt departure said a lot.

In front of so many eyes, Carson Flores naturally couldn’t chase after Johnny Gross, so he stopped in his tracks and pretended as if nothing had happened, turning back around.

This scene didn’t alert anyone.

In the distance, Johnny Gross, seeing Carson Flores stop, breathed a sigh of relief.

He took out his phone and dialed a number, his voice tremulous with fear, ”I’ve seen Westin Flores’s son!”

A deep male voice on the phone responded, ”Where? Are you sure?”

Johnny Gross replied in a low voice, ”I’m at the Martial Battle Arena, his name is Carson Flores. He looks almost exactly like Westin Flores, and he’s about the right age.”

The deep voice pondered for a moment, ”Is he there to find you?”

Johnny Gross responded, ”He was staring at me, walking towards me. I panicked and ran. I think he’s after me.”

The man snorted coldly, ”Run for what? Whatever he wants to know, just tell him. If he wants to avenge his parents, let him come to me. I failed to kill that wretch all those years ago, and it’s made me suffer for a decade. This time, I want to crush him with my own hands!”
