The Female CEO's Personal Bodyguard

Chapter 355: Chapter 355: I’ll gouge out your eyeballs if you look again_1

At the entrance of the hotel.

Samantha Tate pursed her lips and stared at Carson Flores, ”My sister hasn’t come back yet, does this mean she won’t be back for at least a few months?”

Carson Flores thought for a moment, ”It’s been ten days already... that should be the case.”

Samantha Tate nodded, seemingly relieved, ”Then let’s wait for her to come back.”

Us?

Carson Flores couldn’t fathom Samantha Tate’s thoughts and hesitated before asking, ”What do you mean?”

Samantha Tate stepped forward and embraced Carson Flores, ”I understand the hesitation and withdrawal you had towards me before, just as I feel now. I can wait too, but when she comes back, I will have a good talk with her.”

Samantha Tate tiptoed and gave Carson Flores a peck, ”No matter the result, I’ve said, I won’t regret it. I don’t know what will come out of the talk with her, but during this time, you must love me as you did before!”

Before Carson Flores could react, Samantha Tate let go of him, flashed him a radiant smile, waved, and then turned and ran into the hotel.

Carson Flores’s expression was subtle; she must have known he was in a difficult position, so she took all the matters upon herself.

Nothing could be done but wait for Shirley Miller to return.

After all, Shirley Miller had never revealed her feelings, and Carson Flores had no idea what she really thought.

Since emotional matters were to be put aside for now, he should focus on the pressing issues first.

Carson Flores was planning to make a trip to Hengyue City, to visit the Yuyu Sect and inquire about his father’s affairs with Johnny Gross.

Carson Flores had a hunch that finding Johnny Gross would yield significant results.

Deciding to leave, Carson Flores applied for leave and boarded the train to Hengyue City alone.

As for Lydia Howell, Carson Flores asked her to stay in Seashore just in case Samantha Tate ran into any trouble, so she could have someone to look out for her.

The journey to Hengyue City was long, but Carson Flores was not in a hurry. He bought a sleeper berth and spent the time leisurely, reading books, watching videos, and sleeping.

Passing through Shenyun City, the passengers in Carson Flores’ sleeper berth got off, and three women got on.

An old woman with slack skin and white hair, a middle-aged woman who still possessed charm, and a young woman with a haughty stare.

The three walked into the room, and the middle-aged woman’s gaze swept the room upon seeing Carson Flores sitting on the bed with his phone, her brow furrowed immediately.

”Young man, I’d like to discuss something with you.”

Though the middle-aged woman spoke of discussion, her tone was quite haughty, ”The old lady’s health is not good. She needs to rest quietly, and I need to take care of her closely. With a man here, it’s quite inconvenient. How about I give you a thousand yuan to change places?”

Carson Flores glanced at the elderly woman and replied calmly, ”I don’t need the money. If you find me another berth, I’ll move.”

The elderly woman looked weary, seemingly tormented by illness. Carson Flores didn’t mind helping, but changing rooms surely didn’t mean he had to look for the spot himself.

The middle-aged woman’s brow furrowed, ”Two thousand, you find the spot yourself.”

Carson Flores frowned but remained silent.

The middle-aged woman revealed impatience, ”Five thousand, okay? Don’t be greedy like a snake trying to swallow an elephant!”

Carson Flores answered calmly, ”As I said, I don’t want the money. I’m willing to move, but you need to find me a spot.”

The middle-aged woman stood up, huffing coldly, about to say something when the elderly woman suddenly started coughing violently. The middle-aged woman quickly patted her back while irately instructing, ”Zhiyan, find him a spot.”

The haughty young girl snorted and stepped out of the sleeper. Two minutes later, she returned and threw a train ticket in front of Carson Flores.

”Two thousand yuan, another person agreed. A chance to make money, and you don’t know how to take it.”

Carson Flores glanced at the young girl called Zhiyan, who crossed her arms and said coldly, ”What are you looking at? Never seen a beauty before? Keep staring and I’ll gouge your eyeballs out!”

Carson Flores looked at the elderly woman coughing violently, got off the bed with a calm face, took his belongings, and left the room, the sleeper door closing with a snap behind him.

The new berth was just next door, and Carson Flores walked in with his bag.

There were four people in the room: a woman sleeping on the upper bunk, a young man who looked like a student listening to music, and a man in his forties with a full beard facing Carson Flores.

The bearded man squinted at Carson Flores, then suddenly smiled, ”Young brother, that girl who came to swap tickets just now, she’s your girlfriend, isn’t she?”

Carson Flores set down his travel bag, replying casually, ”I don’t know them. They just got on the train, three women, one of them sick. I guess it’s inconvenient for me to be there, so they found me a spot and had me move out.”

The man realized, ”Oh, young brother is a kind person, huh?”

Carson Flores smiled, ”Same everywhere, anyway.”

The man pulled out a parcel from under his bed, then casually took out an unopened bottle of liquor and a big packet of marinated meat, placing it on the table, smiling, ”Nothing to do anyway, young brother, come on, have a drink.”

Carson Flores, with nothing else to do, didn’t refuse, ”Thanks.”

The man laughed heartily, pouring a glass for Carson Flores and then lowering his voice a touch, ”Young brother, you’re a cultivator too, right?”
