The Female CEO's Personal Bodyguard

Chapter 353: Chapter 353: You Don’t Have to Give Me Face_1

”Scold you?”

Carson Flores sat down next to Camille Rhodes on the lounge chair, laughed, and replied, ”Did your dad find out about last night?”

Camille Rhodes hummed in acknowledgment, ”Most of the people on the boat yesterday were from various families. It was such a commotion; not just my dad knows about it. Basically, everyone who should and shouldn’t know now knows.”

Carson Flores chuckled and said, ”What does your dad think? Does he want you to marry into the Divine Cloudy Sect?”

Camille Rhodes laughed, ”Not really. If I don’t want to, he wouldn’t force me. However, he did criticize me for making too big of a fuss and now there’s no way to clean it up.”

Carson Flores asked leisurely, ”What did you say back?”

Camille Rhodes smiled brightly, ”I angrily scolded him.”

Carson Flores looked at Camille Rhodes in surprise, ”You scolded your dad?”

Camille Rhodes huffed, ”I was drugged and almost got forcefully pushed down. If he doesn’t take my side and still criticizes me for making a fuss, who else is there for me to scold?”

Carson Flores asked with a smile, ”How did he react?”

Camille Rhodes snorted coldly, ”He had no response. Then he asked about my relationship with you. I told him that actually, we are just friends and that you said that yesterday just to help me get Jensen Meadows off my back...”

After glancing at Carson Flores’ expression, Camille Rhodes cheerfully answered, ”You’re my man, and that’s our business. It doesn’t concern anyone else. It’s enough that we know it ourselves.”

Carson Flores asked with a smile, ”You’re worried about causing me trouble, huh?”

Camille Rhodes hesitated, then said with a bitter smile, ”My family probably wants something different than I do. You’re a Great Grandmaster, so they surely have more on their minds...”

Carson Flores laughed heartily, ”Like convincing me to marry you and join the Rhodes Family?”

Camille Rhodes replied frankly, ”There are definitely people who think that way. That’s why I told them we’re just friends, to avoid the hassle. If they ask you, just go along with it.”

Carson Flores smiled, ”Really say that?”

Camille Rhodes replied confidently, ”Really say that! I don’t care about such false reputations. Whether we get married or not, sleeping in the same bed is the same thing. In the family, there are always some people who like to put on airs and act all high-and-mighty, which is very annoying...”

Carson Flores blinked, ”Act high-and-mighty? Hehe, that’s because they can take advantage. If they can’t gain any benefits and instead get beat up, they naturally won’t act that way anymore.”

Camille Rhodes laughed, ”Right. If anyone tries to pull rank on you, you don’t have to give me face!”

”Alright, it’s a deal!”

In the afternoon, the yacht leisurely returned to the dock.

Carson Flores and his companions got off and walked toward the parking lot, laughing and joking.

Just as they reached the entrance of the parking lot, two men in suits barred their way.

”Miss!”

Camille Rhodes glanced at the two men, ”What do you want?”

”The boss sent us to pick up the Miss and also invites Mr. Flores over for tea.”

Camille Rhodes turned with a smile, ”See, I told you. They’re fast.”

Carson Flores grinned at Camille Rhodes, ”Then I won’t see you off!”

Camille Rhodes hummed in response, went to Samantha Tate, and hugged her, ”Xixi, I’ll call you later to go shopping.”

”Sure!”

Camille Rhodes turned to the two men, ”Let’s go.”

But the two bodyguards said sternly, ”The boss instructed us, please Mr. Flores should join too.”

Camille Rhodes smiled faintly, ”Carson has to take his girlfriend home. He doesn’t have time to drink tea with him. But if you think you’re strong enough, you could try to make him.”

Of course, Carson Flores wasn’t going to have tea; he had to take Samantha Tate home.

Leave Samantha Tate to go have tea with Camille Rhodes’ father?

What was there to talk about with him?

Besides, inviting him to tea with such a stance of sending two bodyguards?

Hehe!

The two bodyguards looked at each other but were unwilling to back down, ”Mr. Flores, please don’t make this difficult for us!”

Carson Flores scoffed coldly, these people from the Rhodes family were trying to test him.

Carson Flores spoke lightly, ”Step aside.”

One of the bodyguards said sternly, ”The boss has ordered...”

Before the man could finish his words, Carson Flores had already swiftly moved close, slapping him on the chest with one hand, sending him flying. While still in midair, a mouthful of fresh blood sprayed out.

The other bodyguard’s face changed drastically as he stepped back defensively and looked at Camille Rhodes for help, ”Miss...”

Camille Rhodes shrugged, ”I told you, actions like yours are asking for a beating. You didn’t listen, so who’s to blame? He didn’t cripple you outright, which is already him giving me face. Get lost, and don’t embarrass yourselves.”

The bodyguard dared not say another word, hurriedly helped the injured man up, and followed Camille Rhodes away, no longer daring to mention inviting Carson Flores for tea.

Samantha Tate blinked in confusion, ”What’s up with the Rhodes Family? Don’t they know you’re a Great Grandmaster?”

Carson Flores took Samantha Tate’s hand, smiling, ”Perhaps they wanted to test it out, to see if they could suppress me through another angle and make me submit to the Rhodes Family.”

Samantha Tate immediately understood, giggling, ”The dilemma of a hero passing the beauty test?”
