The Female CEO's Personal Bodyguard

Chapter 296: Chapter 296: The Hidden Grandmaster Assassin_1

East Creek Mountain.

The usually empty courtyard amidst the mountains was bustling today, as one car after another turned off the main road and onto a small path, eventually parking in front of the courtyard.

The quiet yard also became lively, with two long tables set up in the center and stools placed around them, with steaming teaware on the tables.

Inside the house, someone was busy in the kitchen, and a fragrant aroma wafted out.

The owner of the courtyard was Shiloh Fitzgerald, a place he occasionally visited for a summer retreat. It was desolate and extremely quiet, making it the perfect location for this gathering.

The Martinez Family, the Johnston Family, and the Firzgerald Family each sent three people: the current Family Head, the family heir, and a family Grandmaster. Three generations represented the pinnacle of the family’s combat power, both now and in the future.

On Carson Flores’s side, it was just him and Lydia Howell, but no one dared to underestimate him.

”Carson Flores, even Peter Miller made a move personally and still couldn’t capture you,” someone said. ”At such a young age, your strength is astounding.”

Carson Flores smiled and said, ”If they had killed me, I wouldn’t be sitting at this table today, and we probably wouldn’t have this delicious meal either.”

Previously, Shiloh Fitzgerald and Ares Fitzgerald were beaten up by Carson Flores. They were somewhat annoyed at first, but after hearing how Carson Flores withstood the combined effort of three Miller Family Grandmasters and didn’t fall, that annoyance dissipated.

In the world of Cultivators, it’s all about strength!

If you’re strong, others naturally respect you.

Fist is the ultimate truth.

Shiloh Fitzgerald said with a laugh, ”I’m convinced of your strength. Hey, you might not know, but this kid here wanted to meet me through Leonard Reid as the intermediary. I questioned his strength, and without a word, he beat us up. He even arrogantly said that if he wanted to kill me, I wouldn’t have been able to run away. Boy, did that make me angry...”

The people from the Martinez and the Johnston families looked surprised. This was indeed the first time they had heard of this, and it gave them a deeper understanding of Carson Flores’s style.

Taylor Johnston said with a smile, ”The Miller Family’s three Grandmasters couldn’t even hold down one Carson Flores. It seems the Miller Family’s combat power is just so-so. With our four families joining forces, it shouldn’t be a problem.”

Shiloh Fitzgerald nodded: ”We are mortal enemies with the Miller Family and know them well. Among the three Grandmasters, Peter Miller is the strongest. It’s said he’s just one step away from Great Grandmaster level. The other two, Thiago Miller and Kayden Miller, have medium strength, neither good nor bad.”

Kylan Martinez’s father, Castiel Martinez, said with a smile, ”If it’s three Grandmasters, then if our family sends two Grandmasters, eight against three, we’ll make sure they have no chance to escape.”

Shiloh Fitzgerald reminded, ”Eight against three, and sending out the strongest Grandmasters should indeed not be a big issue. But, while the Miller Family publicly has three Great Grandmasters, there is actually a fourth, albeit far more secretive, and not well-known to most.”

Taylor Johnston said with a laugh, ”One more Grandmaster shouldn’t affect the overall situation, right? If necessary, we’ll simply send more people.”

Castiel Martinez, however, frowned, ”Are you talking about Beckham Miller, who was expelled from the family and went overseas many years ago?”

Shiloh Fitzgerald nodded, ”Yes, Beckham Miller is different from the average Grandmaster. He’s sinister and bears grudges, striking with viciousness, and even enjoys torturing his victims. It’s said that he once tortured someone who offended him for three full days until the person died, completely disfigured...”

Taylor Johnston asked, ”Where is Beckham Miller now? If we’re going to act, we need to eliminate them all, or else we’ll have endless trouble.”

Shiloh Fitzgerald sighed, ”According to our investigation, Beckham Miller once harassed his cousin’s wife, which is to say his sister-in-law. When his cousins rushed to her aid, he crippled them. As a result, the Miller Family announced they had executed Beckham Miller to the public, but in reality, they let him escape overseas, never to return to the Miller Family.”

”If the Miller Family doesn’t face trouble, he will surely stay overseas. But if the Miller Family falls, he will definitely come back for revenge. Reliable sources say Beckham Miller has joined a league of assassins overseas and has become a Grandmaster assassin. He is well-known in the assassin community. If we want to exterminate the Miller Family, Beckham Miller must be taken out first.”

Hearing this, everyone became uneasy.

Damn, the Miller Family still had a hidden card.

Such a vicious person, if not dealt with first, will bring a ferocious vendetta once the Miller Family is gone. And no Cultivator family can withstand the wrath of a Grandmaster-level assassin.

Carson Flores frowned; he had not expected this turn of events.

Shiloh Fitzgerald’s words were true, a dangerous fellow like this had to be dealt with first, or else he would become an endless source of trouble.

Putting others aside, even those close to him would likely become his first targets for revenge. He might not be afraid, but what about Shirley Miller and Samantha Tate?

Castiel Martinez nodded and asked, ”Does the Firzgerald Family have detailed information on Beckham Miller?”

Shiloh Fitzgerald shook his head, ”As an assassin, how could he let others keep track of his whereabouts?”

Seeing that Castiel Martinez and Taylor Johnston had fallen silent, Carson Flores smiled and said, ”Mr. Fitzgerald, send me the information you have on Beckham Miller, and I’ll take care of him. But after it’s done, I’ll want a bigger share...”
