The Female CEO's Personal Bodyguard

Chapter 292: Chapter 292: Carson Flores, Aren’t You Quite the Fighter?_1

”To kill a Grandmaster, naturally only another Grandmaster can do it. Since the Miller Family has no Great Grandmaster, to completely block your escape routes and not give you any chance to run, they must go all out.”

In the darkness, Oscar Miller’s voice resounded; he stood in a gloomy corner, staring at Carson Flores with a menacing glint in his eyes, like a venomous snake lurking in the shadows.

Carson Flores turned his head and could vaguely see Oscar Miller standing behind a tree. He chuckled and said, ”Why are you hiding so far away? Are you that afraid?”

Oscar Miller sneered, ”I won’t give you the chance to take me hostage.”

As Carson Flores smoked, he smiled and said, ”You’re quite cautious. I definitely can’t beat three Grandmasters, but that doesn’t mean you can necessarily stop me from escaping.”

Oscar Miller laughed, ”My great-grandfather is only one step from becoming a Great Grandmaster. Just him alone is enough to defeat you. Add on my two grandfathers, the three of them working together—unless you have grown wings and can fly, this will be where you’re buried.”

Carson Flores took two steps to the side, slightly turned his body to avoid being attacked from both front and back: ”Planning to take me down directly?”

Oscar Miller laughed heartily, ”Don’t worry, we won’t kill you. We’ll just cripple your cultivation. After all, you have a master who likes to go crazy. We still need to have a chat with him. As long as he’s willing to back down, your life can still be spared.”

Carson Flores clicked his tongue in praise, ”It seems having a good background is indeed very important. If I didn’t have this master, wouldn’t my bones be dismantled today?”

”Let’s do it, the night is long and full of dreams!”

The Miller Family Ancestor, with his head full of white hair, bellowed and charged at Carson Flores, throwing a punch that was so fast it left only a blur behind.

Carson Flores didn’t dodge; he met the Miller Family Ancestor’s punch with one of his own.

The Miller Family wanted to kill him, and he wanted to take this opportunity to gauge the strength of the Miller Family’s three Grandmasters. When they made their move, he could better plan and ensure that not a single one could escape.

”Bang”

In the dull sound of colliding Gang Qi, Carson Flores’s body flew backward, his blood roiling and arm numb. When he landed, the pavement cracked beneath him.

Carson took three steps back, shattering three paving stones.

Before Carson Flores could catch his breath, the Grandmaster behind him had already pounced, giving Carson no chance to breathe, sweeping a kick towards his waist.

The kick was fierce and swift—if it connected, Carson Flores’s spine would snap instantly.

In a rushed moment, Carson Flores sidestepped, crouched slightly, and drew his arms close to his body.

”Bang”

The kick landed on Carson Flores’s arm, and he was sent flying sideways, crashing into a nearby garden wall with a loud smash.

Before Carson Flores could rise, the Miller Family Ancestor leapt into the air, descending like a war god, aiming a stomp at Carson Flores on the ground.

With a slap on the ground, Eddie Olsen soared up, rolling to the side to dodge.

The Miller Family Ancestor stomped down, shattering the concrete planter instantly, but missing Carson Flores.

Just as Carson Flores got up, another shadow charged at him, punching him and sending his body sliding far across the ground.

Disheveled!

Ever since he had left the mountains, Carson Flores had never been in such a disheveled state.

Although he was a Grandmaster himself, facing head-on with a peak Grandmaster who was just a step away from becoming a Great Grandmaster was tough enough. Add two more powerful Grandmasters constantly attacking without giving him a moment to breathe, and he became nothing more than a punching bag, with no room to fight back.

Oscar Miller watched as Carson Flores was beaten to a sorry state, barely having a chance to stand. He was either rolling or being punched away, feeling immensely pleased.

”Carson Flores, weren’t you tough before? Why not show it now?”

At this point, Carson Flores could hardly respond to Oscar Miller, as blood seeped from the corner of his mouth; he had sustained severe internal injuries.

He didn’t go on the offensive, just defensively reacted.

He was waiting.

Just as Carson Flores was sent flying once more, a motorcycle appeared at the entrance to the alley, roaring as it charged inside.

The bright headlight pierced the darkness, enveloping the people engaged in the fight.

The Miller Family Ancestor shouted sternly, ”Stop him!”

The elder standing on the edge faced the speeding motorcycle, but as he was about to make contact, the rider suddenly raised both hands, tilting the motorcycle’s front upward before slamming crazily into the elder standing before it.

Simultaneously, the motorcycle rider, light as a swallow, ejected from the motorcycle, lunging at another elder who was leaping towards Carson Flores.

The elder facing the motorcycle was dazzled by the lights, and by the time he realized the rider’s move, it was already too late to stop it. With an angry shout, he turned to the side and pounded his fist down on the motorcycle.

The motorcycle was immediately twisted and crushed under the punch, scattering into pieces, and with its momentum, slammed brutally into the wall ahead, instantly turning into a heap of scrap metal.

The elder attacking Carson Flores saw someone attacking him, sneered, and threw a punch.

”Get out of the way!”

The motorcycle rider was, of course, Lydia Howell, who had received word from Carson Flores and come to his aid. As she hung mid-air, she unleashed her punch with full force.
