Chapter 141: Chapter 141: Threatening Ye Xiu for Compensation

Ming Hao was stunned. Ming Yue was stunned. Everyone present was stunned.

They suddenly realized how incredibly cunning Ye Xiu was. This was clearly a trap for him, but in the end, he had played them all.

”Run!”

The six men in black came to their senses and scrambled to flee, not even having the courage to face Ye Xiu.

”Don’t waste your energy. You’re not getting away.”

Ye Xiu reached his right hand toward the six men. He made a grasping motion in the air, and they were forcibly pulled back toward him. He then clenched his fist.

The six men in black simultaneously spat out mouthfuls of blood, their faces filled with terror. They realized that Ye Xiu hadn’t even touched them; a single casual gesture had critically injured them all.

My God! This is no Great Grandmaster. This is a damn War God!

”So,” Ye Xiu began, picking up one of the men’s knives and toying with it, ”how do you want to die?”

”If you dare kill us, Qin Qing will surely die,” the leader of the men in black said. ”Just to be safe, I sent a text to Xu Jinghao ten minutes ago. I instructed him to take Qin Qing to Kuroki Suzu and to pass on a message: if she doesn’t receive my call within half an hour, she is to kill Qin Qing immediately.”

Ye Xiu’s expression changed instantly. If Qin Qing fell into Kuroki Suzu’s hands, it would be troublesome.

Seeing the look on Ye Xiu’s face, Ming Yue and the others smiled again, looking as if they once again held his life in their hands.

”Sorry, but Xu Jinghao never received your message.”

A teasing voice came from the back door. Ye Xiu and the others spun around.

They saw Qin Qing walking toward them, a smile on her face.

”This...”

Not just Ming Yue and her group, but even Ye Xiu was stunned.

”What’s going on?” Ye Xiu asked.

”It’s not complicated at all. I stabbed Xu Jinghao to death. It’s that simple,” Qin Qing said with a shrug and a smile.

The corner of Ye Xiu’s mouth twitched. ”Since you were out of danger, why didn’t you call to let me know you were safe?”

”I wanted to, but Xu Jinghao threw my phone away. I don’t have your number memorized, so I had to drive that old Chevrolet here to wait for you. Then the car broke down halfway, and I didn’t have any money on me. The taxi driver is still outside waiting for me to pay him,” Qin Qing explained with an innocent expression.

Ye Xiu chuckled. ”You’ve had quite an adventure, haven’t you?”

”It was a little eventful,” Qin Qing shrugged. She fished the wallet out of Ye Xiu’s pocket and said, ”You deal with them first. I’ll go pay the driver. Oh, and you don’t need to interrogate them, just kill them. They’re from the Seven Deadly Sect of Qi Yun Dao. I already got that out of Xu Jinghao.”

Ye Xiu couldn’t help but laugh. His wife was really something else.

Meanwhile, Ming Yue’s group was once again scared stiff. They were completely out of cards to play.

”Divine Doctor Ye! Divine Doctor Ye, please spare our worthless lives! We’ll never dare to cross you again! I-I’m the Sect Leader of the Seven Deadly Sect! I’m willing to lead the entire Seven Deadly Sect to pledge our allegiance to you! Please, don’t kill us...” the leader of the men in black pleaded in terror.

”The Seven Deadly Sect has committed countless evil acts and is a disgrace to the Ancient Martial Circle. You deserved to die for that alone. Now that you’ve become traitors and pledged allegiance to the Tiansha Association, I have even less reason to let you live.” Ye Xiu raised the knife and, one by one, methodically stabbed the six men in black to death.

At this sight, the Qin Family members were paralyzed with fear. Although they had seen Chloe and her people kill at Ye Xiu’s home on the night flyers were scattered all over Jin Ye City, this was the first time they had seen Ye Xiu himself kill someone. He did it so casually, so proficiently, as if he had killed countless people before.

By now, Ming Yue and her companions were utterly limp with terror. Ming Hao, in particular, was so scared that he lost control of his bowels and bladder.

Ye Xiu dragged the knife over to Ming Hao. ”That slap you gave me earlier,” he asked coldly, ”did it feel good?”

”Spare me...” Ming Hao knelt and began to kowtow repeatedly. ”Don’t kill me, please don’t—”

THUNK!

Before he could finish, the knife in Ye Xiu’s hand plunged into the back of his neck.

”AHH!”

Seeing Ye Xiu finally turn on the Ming Family, Ming Yue and the others shrieked in horror. Ming Yue was especially terrified beyond words. The memory of her own arrogant and triumphant attitude when she had gone to pick up Ye Xiu only intensified her fear.

Just then, Qin Qing returned.

Ye Xiu asked her, ”What do you think I should do with these people?”

Qin Qing thought for a moment. ”Making them experience the pain you once suffered is a good plan, but having so many people loitering on the streets of Jin Ye City every day would be a bit of an eyesore.”

”Good point. In that case, we’ll leave the Ming Family. Send everyone else to the City of Asura to work in the mines,” Ye Xiu said.

”Sounds good to me!” Qin Qing nodded.

At that moment, the screech of many cars pulling up sounded from outside the warehouse. Mo Luo then rushed in with a group of people.

”Take everyone except the Qin and Ming families to the City of Asura,” Ye Xiu ordered.

”Yes, sir!” Mo Luo immediately led his men away, taking Li Bingliang’s group and the corpses with them. They came as quickly as they left.

”What are you still standing around for?” Ye Xiu asked the Ming Family mockingly. ”Are you waiting for me to buy you lunch?”

”Let’s go, let’s go, let’s go...” Ming Yue scrambled to her feet, helped her parents and grandfather up, and they all ran for their lives.

Only then did Ye Xiu and Qin Qing turn to face the Qin Family.

”What are you looking at? Get over here and untie us!” Qin Fugui barked.

Qin Qing hurried over to untie her family members, but Ye Xiu stood his ground, unmoving. He was already doing Qin Qing a great favor by not killing these people; he certainly wasn’t going to untie them himself. No chance.

”You unfilial cur,” Qin Fugui snarled, walking up to Ye Xiu and pointing a finger at his nose.

”Ye Xiu, you’re a damned jinx! Sooner or later, you’re going to get us all killed!” his uncle, Qin Zhongwu, raged.

”We were kidnapped because of you! We can’t have suffered for nothing. You have to compensate us!” Qin Anruo said indignantly.

”That’s right, you have to compensate us,” Qin Junyi chimed in.

Ye Xiu just looked at them as if they were idiots and didn’t even bother to reply.

”Enough!” Qin Qing shouted. ”If you would just treat Ye Xiu with a little respect, you could have any benefit you want. But with your attitude, you expect compensation? Even if Ye Xiu were willing to give it, I would never agree.”

She was thoroughly and completely disappointed in her family.

”You dare disagree?” Qin Fugui retorted. ”Don’t think we don’t know about the two-hundred-million-dollar bounty for Ye Xiu’s left arm. He must have done something despicable. If you don’t agree to have him compensate us, we’ll go to the Patrol Bureau Office! Ye Xiu can just wait to be thrown in jail!”

”Hmph, Ye Xiu just killed people. We saw it with our own eyes; there’s still blood on the ground! If we report him, he can wait to be arrested,” Qin Zhongwu threatened.

”We saw your own servants kill a lot of people on the day those flyers were scattered all over the city,” Qin Anruo sneered. ”Add to that the people Ye Xiu killed today, and he can look forward to rotting in jail for the rest of his life.”
