Medical and Martial God

Chapter 135: Chapter 135: Attack the Hideout

”An ant trying to shake a tree.”

Seeing that trash like Song Penghui actually dared to confront her, Kuroki Suzu was filled with disdain. She increased the power of her slashing katana, intending to kill him with a single blow.

At this, the hearts of Zhu Xiaowen and the others leaped into their throats.

Their successful escape hinged entirely on whether Song Penghui could withstand this strike from Kuroki Suzu. If he could hold her off, they could retreat safely. But if he couldn’t, not only would he die, but they would all perish under Kuroki Suzu’s blade as well.

PFFT! PFFT!

Just as Kuroki Suzu’s katana was about to strike Song Penghui’s fist, something unexpected happened!

Two katanas flashed like lightning, shooting forward at an astonishing speed and piercing the hearts of Kuroki Suzu’s last two Eighth Grade Grandmasters. They were pierced straight through!

”This...”

Seeing this, Kuroki Suzu, who was mid-slash toward Song Penghui, immediately halted her attack. Shocked, she looked toward the person walking slowly down from the audience stands. He wore a baseball cap, black sunglasses, and a face mask.

This attire was not at all unfamiliar to Kuroki Suzu. It was the same person who had broken Tengjing’s wrist at the airport when she and the Sang Jing medical delegation first arrived in Jin Ye City.

”All of you go first. Leave Kuroki Suzu to me,” Ye Xiu said calmly.

Zhu Xiaowen and the others had not recognized Ye Xiu at first, but upon hearing his voice, they were overcome with ecstatic relief. They couldn’t believe Ye Xiu had arrived just in time at this critical moment of life and death.

”Do as he says! We’re leaving first!” Zhu Xiaowen shouted. She knew that if she and the others stayed, they would be of no help to Ye Xiu and might even become a burden.

”Go!”

The group began to retreat, backing away cautiously.

”None of you are getting away.”

Kuroki Suzu ignored Ye Xiu and swung her katana at Song Penghui again. However, just as the blade left her hands, she felt a sudden gust of wind from behind.

Startled, Kuroki Suzu quickly converted her attack into a dodge, narrowly avoiding an incoming pebble. Now, she dared not recklessly attack Song Penghui again, fearing another sneak attack from Ye Xiu with his hidden weapons.

”Go on, don’t worry. She won’t dare to attack you again,” Ye Xiu said as he walked down from the stands, casually playing with two pebbles in his hand.

”Let’s go!” Zhu Xiaowen shouted, leading the group toward the soccer field’s exit.

Just as he predicted, Kuroki Suzu did not pursue them.

”Who in the world are you? Why do you keep ruining my plans?” Kuroki Suzu demanded, glaring at Ye Xiu.

”My name is very long. I’m afraid you won’t remember it,” Ye Xiu said.

”Just say it. I’m sure I can remember it,” Kuroki Suzu insisted.

”My name is Zabadodo Notweird Kyotokudakurumalakalinnotlavsky,” Ye Xiu said.

Kuroki Suzu was stunned. That name is so lame.

”Did you remember it?” Ye Xiu asked.

Kuroki Suzu scoffed. Who the hell could remember that?

”It seems you have no intention of telling me your identity,” she said. ”If you only came to save Zhu Xiaowen and her people, they’re gone now. Can I leave?””Don’t be in such a rush. Since you’re already here, why not have a fight before you go?” Ye Xiu said, casually picking up a katana and toying with it.

”I have no interest in fighting you,” Kuroki Suzu said. ”You must know that I have achieved War God Level strength. Your power should be comparable to mine. The entire world knows that, aside from Huang Quan, no one can kill a War God in a one-on-one fight.”

”You’re not entirely correct,” Ye Xiu replied. ”When two War Gods fight, if one is determined to escape, the other is powerless to stop them. But what if one’s speed is far superior to the other’s? Couldn’t the faster War God kill the slower one?”

”Are you suggesting you’re faster than me?” Kuroki Suzu asked.

”You can try me,” Ye Xiu said.

”Fine, I’ll test it!”

Kuroki Suzu broke into a sprint, but after just a few steps, she felt a searing pain on her butt. Turning her head, she saw Ye Xiu right behind her, spanking her with the flat of his blade.

GASP!

Kuroki Suzu was terrified out of her wits. Ye Xiu’s speed was truly far greater than hers. If he hadn’t been using the flat of the blade to spank her, and had attacked to kill instead, she would probably be dead by now.

”See? I told you you couldn’t escape,” Ye Xiu taunted as he continued to chase and spank her.

”I’ll fight you to the death!”

Kuroki Suzu gave up on escaping and attacked Ye Xiu with all her might. Ye Xiu, in turn, pretended to be locked in a fierce struggle with her.

In reality, he could kill her with a single strike if he wished. But for now, he didn’t want to. Just as he didn’t want to kill Dragon Hollyhock, he needed to use both Kuroki Suzu and Dragon Hollyhock to lure more people to Jin Ye City to meet their demise.

”Your strength is just so-so,” Kuroki Suzu said, gaining confidence after fighting him for a while. ”You’re only faster than me. In terms of raw power, you’re a bit weaker.”

Ye Xiu merely chuckled.

”Even though you’re weaker than me, I can’t kill you. And you certainly can’t kill me. What’s the point of continuing this fight?” Kuroki Suzu asked impatiently.

”So, we’re done fighting?” Ye Xiu asked. His goal of feigning weakness had been achieved, so there was indeed no need to continue.

”We’re done!” Kuroki Suzu shot backward, halting her attacks. ”Can I go now?”

”I’ll see you out,” Ye Xiu said.

”Are you afraid I’ll go after Zhu Xiaowen and her people?” she asked.

”Exactly!” Ye Xiu shrugged.

”I won’t go after them, so you don’t need to see me out.”

”I insist.”

”Suit yourself!”

The two left the stadium. While waiting for a cab, Ye Xiu sent a text ordering someone to clean up the bodies at the soccer field. They waited for over ten minutes before a taxi finally arrived.

Just then, a text arrived from Gong Jin: ”An Dongye went to the Yalton Hotel.”

Ye Xiu paused, finally understanding why An Dongye had killed only four Eighth Grade Grandmasters before leaving the stadium. He had gone to the Yalton Hotel to kill the other Sang Jing Ninja Warriors. She’s quite the schemer! Without Kuroki Suzu there, the Sixth and Seventh Grade Sang Jing Ninja Warriors at the Yalton Hotel stood no chance against An Dongye.

At that moment, Kuroki Suzu’s phone rang. When she answered, Ye Xiu could clearly hear Miyamoto Satoshi’s terrified and anxious voice on the other end. ”Lady Kuroki Suzu, our people at the Yalton Hotel are being slaughtered!”

”What?” Kuroki Suzu’s expression changed dramatically. ”By whom?”

Miyamoto Satoshi replied, ”It’s a woman. She has a black plastic bag over her head, so we can’t identify her.”

It’s her? Kuroki Suzu panicked. That despicable woman had actually gone to the Yalton Hotel! This was a disaster; the Ninja Warriors there were no match for her.

”Driver, to the Yalton Hotel! Quick!” Kuroki Suzu yelled as she jumped into the car, tossing a thick wad of cash to the driver. ”Please, get there as fast as you can. Thank you.”

Seeing the thick stack of bills, the driver’s eyes lit up. ”Hold on tight...”

With that, he slammed his foot on the accelerator, and the taxi shot off like a rocket.
