Medical and Martial God

Chapter 108: Chapter 108: Thrilling, Addictive, Satisfying

Upon seeing this, the members of the Sang Jing medical delegation, along with Kuroki Suzu and Miyamoto Satoshi, were not the slightest bit tense. They paid no mind to the Xuanse onlookers, whom they considered nothing more than a bunch of trash. Neither Kuroki Suzu nor Miyamoto Satoshi had any intention of reprimanding their delegation member for slapping Liu Sai. After all, to them, dogs were meant to be beaten.

”Mr. Miyamoto, I was kind enough to come and pick you up, but your man slapped me in public. Don’t you think that’s going too far?” Liu Sai asked coldly, covering his face and fighting the urge to slap back.

”I don’t think Fujita did anything wrong,” Miyamoto Satoshi said with contempt. ”For a mere lowlife like you, being slapped by Fujita is an honor.”

At this remark, the surrounding Xuanse people were furious.

”Don’t hold me back! If I don’t beat the shit out of this Sang Jing dog today, my surname isn’t Lu!”

”They’ve gone too far! That old bastard clearly doesn’t see us Xuanse people as human. Let’s kill him!”

Curses erupted from the crowd as several hot-tempered men surged forward, ready to teach Miyamoto Satoshi a lesson.

”Everyone, don’t be impulsive,” Liu Sai said, stopping the men who were about to attack. ”Leave this to me.”

Hearing this, the cursing subsided, and the few hot-tempered men stepped back.

Liu Sai glared at Miyamoto Satoshi. ”Miyamoto Satoshi, you’d better recognize where you are. This is Xuanse, not Sang Jing! You’ve come all this way to challenge the Ghost Doctor, which is a provocation, not some officially sanctioned friendly activity between our nations. I’ve already shown you great courtesy by coming to pick you up. If you think the reception is beneath you, you can crawl back where you came from.”

”Bastard! How dare you speak to Mr. Miyamoto with that tone? You’re asking to die!” Fujita, the man who had slapped Liu Sai earlier, rushed forward and swung at his face again.

However, this time, he missed.

Liu Sai dodged the slap and delivered one of his own.

SMACK!

He put all his strength into it, and a bright red handprint instantly appeared on Fujita’s face as his left cheek began to swell.

”Xuanse is a nation of etiquette, and it would be impolite not to reciprocate,” Liu Sai said coldly. ”Consider this slap my way of returning your ’courtesy’.”

Thunderous applause erupted from the crowd. Liu Sai’s slap had sent a jolt of excitement through the onlookers.

Now that’s a real Xuanse man! How thrilling!

Kuroki Suzu, Miyamoto Satoshi, and the medical delegation were stunned. They never expected that Liu Sai, a mere lowlife, would actually dare to hit Fujita.

”Thank you, thank you all for the support!” Liu Sai clasped his hands and bowed to the crowd like a street performer. He then turned back to Miyamoto Satoshi and said, ”Since you all despise my welcome, you can walk to Saint He Medical Academy yourselves. I’m not your damn servant anymore.”

With that, he turned to leave.

”Did I say you could leave?” Kuroki Suzu said coldly.

As she spoke, Fujita, having come to his senses, instantly moved to block Liu Sai’s path. Killing Intent flared in his eyes as rage surged through him. Being slapped by a Xuanse man was the ultimate disgrace. All it would take was one word from Kuroki Suzu, and he would slaughter Liu Sai on the spot.

”What’s the meaning of this?” Liu Sai asked, turning to glare at Kuroki Suzu.

”You, a lowlife no better than a dog, publicly humiliated a noble from Sang Jing. Do you really think you can just walk away?” Kuroki Suzu said coldly.

”Cut the crap. If you’ve got something to say, spit it out,” Liu Sai cursed.

”You’re asking to die!” Kuroki Suzu snapped, enraged. ”Fujita, teach him a harsh lesson. Just don’t kill him. Do as you please.”

”Yes, ma’am!” Fujita was thrilled. He didn’t hesitate to throw a punch straight at Liu Sai’s face.

His speed was incredible.

Liu Sai was shocked. He was a Martial Artist himself, but he never expected Fujita to be one too, and a much stronger one at that.

I’m screwed! Getting beaten up in front of so many of my countrymen... How humiliating!

”Stop!”

Just as Fujita’s fist was about to land on Liu Sai’s face, a sharp voice cut through from behind the crowd.

For some reason, the voice made Fujita shudder as if he’d been electrocuted, and a strange fear bloomed in his heart. He instinctively pulled his punch back and looked toward the source of the voice.

Kuroki Suzu and everyone else present turned to look.

A mysterious young man wearing a baseball cap, a blue face mask, and black sunglasses was walking slowly toward them.

”What do you call yourself?” Kuroki Suzu said with a frown.

”I wasn’t calling anyone,” Ye Xiu replied.

Kuroki Suzu sucked in a sharp breath. Is this guy a lunatic?

But Liu Sai and the onlookers couldn’t help but laugh. Ye Xiu was clearly messing with her.

”Why did you tell Fujita to stop?” Kuroki Suzu asked.

”Only someone with a decade-long cerebral thrombosis would ask a question like that,” Ye Xiu chuckled. ”As a Xuanse citizen, shouldn’t I stop a foreigner from bullying one of my own?”

”Hahahaha...”

Ye Xiu’s witty remark made the onlookers burst out laughing.

Kuroki Suzu, Miyamoto Satoshi, and the entire Sang Jing medical delegation, however, were furious. Kuroki Suzu was especially incensed that Ye Xiu had dared to insult her with such a strange metaphor. ”I’m going to teach Liu Sai a lesson, and no one can stop me,” she said coldly.

”You can try,” Ye Xiu retorted. ”But let me give you a little warning. If Fujita dares to touch Liu Sai again, if he moves his left hand, I’ll chop off his left hand. If he moves his right hand, I’ll chop off his right.”

”Fine. I’d like to see what gives you the audacity to say something like that.” Blinded by rage, Kuroki Suzu turned to Fujita. ”Slap Liu Sai with your right hand.”

”Yes, ma’am!” Fujita slapped Liu Sai across the face.

Liu Sai could have dodged that slap, but he didn’t.

Trading a slap for one of Fujita’s hands? Totally worth it!

”There. Fujita touched Liu Sai. Now I’d really like to see how you’re going to chop off his right hand,” Kuroki Suzu said, challenging Ye Xiu.

Miyamoto Satoshi and the Sang Jing delegation watched Ye Xiu with mocking expressions, just as eager to see how he planned to chop off Fujita’s hand right in front of Kuroki Suzu.

”Then watch closely,” Ye Xiu said.

”I’m watch—”

Before Kuroki Suzu could finish, Ye Xiu vanished from her sight. In the next instant, he appeared beside Fujita and grabbed his right wrist.

SNAP!

Ye Xiu snapped Fujita’s right wrist clean in two.

The entire crowd erupted.

The onlookers’ blood was set ablaze, their gazes fixed on Ye Xiu with fiery intensity. Normally, such a brutal and bloody scene would have horrified them. But now, far from being afraid, they found it thrilling, satisfying, and incredibly cathartic.
