Invincible Little School Doctor

Chapter 208: Chapter 208 Being a Role Model (First Wave of Outburst)

Thinking of this, Ye Haochuan couldn’t help but feel a bit curious and said, ”Sister Mei, you want me to change clothes, are we going somewhere important?”

Xiao Haimie still held a bit of a grudge and huffed, ”Of course, I want you to pretend to be my boyfriend to meet some of my friends!”

Sweat, I’m already your boyfriend, do I still need to pretend?

Ye Haochuan was somewhat speechless and said, ”Sister Mei, do you really need to take revenge on me like this?”

Seeing his face full of dark lines, Xiao Haimie: ”Humph, this will teach you not to flirt around, or else you won’t even be able to pretend to be a boyfriend!”

I’m floored, is this even a threat?

Ye Haochuan couldn’t help but laugh and cry.

”Alright, seeing you looking so wronged. When you went to pretend to be Doctor Kou’s boyfriend, wasn’t it torturing me?” Xiao Haimie glanced at him with seductive eyes full of grievances.

Ye Haochuan awkwardly lowered his head, a face full of guilt.

Seeing him as honest as a child who had admitted his mistakes, Xiao Haimie couldn’t bear to blame him further and said, ”Actually, I want you to come with me to a place mainly to make up a teacher employment procedure for you.”

”Teacher employment procedure?”

Ye Haochuan was puzzled. I am just a small school doctor; I hadn’t planned on switching to become a teacher!

Clearly seeing what he was thinking, Xiao Haimie explained, ”This morning, the school received a notice from the city’s education bureau. The notice required the school to offer an elective course on physiological education for students, to enhance the students’ knowledge about physiology, enabling them to exercise self-restraint...”

Physiological education course? Isn’t that just sex education?

Cut, what physiological education course? Such an elegant way to put it, my teeth are almost sour, isn’t sex education much more straightforward!

Ye Haochuan thought to himself rather rakishly.

”... Because the school severely lacks physiological education teachers, after deliberation by our board of directors, it was decided to assign some doctors from the school hospital to teach the elective courses. You will continue to work at the hospital during the day, and in the evening, during study hall, you will go and teach accordingly.”

Listening to Xiao Haimie’s explanation, Ye Haochuan finally understood and smirked, ”The members of your board of directors are each quite sharp.”

Xiao Haimie couldn’t help but laugh, ”Why do you say that?”

Ye Haochuan curled his lip and said, ”Isn’t it obvious? They’re just elective course teachers after all. They could have hired new teachers, but instead they want to pull people from our school hospital. Clearly, they’re looking to cut costs.”

Xiao Haimie’s pretty face turned red. Indeed, his words were pretty much on the mark. As a private university, the board members of Haishan University were shareholders who naturally considered things from a business standpoint and tried to cut costs on human resources as much as possible.

”So, are you going or not? If you don’t want to, I won’t insist.” Saying this, Xiao Haimie’s lips suddenly curled up slightly, full of smiles, ”Just so you know, Doctor Kou has already agreed to teach as well. With such a good opportunity, can you really bear to give it up?”

Damn, why bring up Doctor Kou out of nowhere? You’re clearly testing if I can resist temptation?

Ye Haochuan rolled his eyes and earnestly said, ”Don’t think so lowly of me. I’m purely colleagues with Doctor Kou. Her teaching has nothing to do with me.”

As he spoke of Doctor Kou teaching, he couldn’t help but picture such a scene in his mind—

In the university classroom, Doctor Kou, hailed as the ”Iceberg Goddess”, stood on the lectern, lecturing about hygiene and physiology. Below her, numerous male students’ eyes blazed with a wolf-like gleam, almost as if they were about to devour her.

Doctor Kou was quite bold, wasn’t she? Wasn’t she afraid those wolf cubs would hoot and give her a hard time?

Ye Haochuan couldn’t help shaking his head.

Then, Xiao Haimei’s voice rang in his ear, ”So, does this mean you’re not planning to go?”

”Go? Of course, I’m going! Don’t they always say that teachers are supposed to educate and nurture? Well, I may not be great at teaching, but nurturing—I’m quite skilled at that, hehe,” Ye Haochuan laughed.

Seeing the mischievous smile on his face, Xiao Haimie immediately knew that this bad egg was harboring some dirty thoughts again. Nurture? It’s more like creating people, isn’t it?

After persuading Ye Haochuan, Xiao Haimei took him away from the school clinic to the university board of directors building to have the personnel department complete his teacher onboarding process.

With the procedures completed, Ye Haochuan received a set of physiology textbooks and teaching plans, which he briefly flipped through with disdain.

Damn, who’s the ’brilliant beast’ that wrote these? Simple physiological knowledge that could be clearly expressed in just a few thousand words, and yet it’s turned into a thick stack.

Xiao Haimei, busy with university affairs, sent him away after she got him through the teacher onboarding process.

However, before leaving, Ye Haochuan took advantage of the deserted surroundings; he didn’t skimp on planting kisses and copping feels on her, leaving her blushing, panting, and moaning until he, satisfied at last, happily made his exit.

Coincidentally, just as he reached the entrance of the school clinic, he bumped into Kou Jing coming out from the cafeteria. Ye Haochuan, with sharp eyes, noticed she was holding a book—it was the physiology textbook.

Recalling that Xiao Haimei no longer interfered with his interactions with Doctor Kou and Han Xue’er, Ye Haochuan’s courage swelled, he laughed heartily and approached, ”Doctor Kou, aren’t you conscientious? Already starting to prepare for your class, I see?”

Seeing him, Kou Jing’s face inadvertently flushed, ”Ye... Doctor Ye, what are you talking about?”

Come on, playing dumb with me?

Ye Haochuan found it amusing and shook the physiology textbook in front of her, a sly smile on his face.

Kou Jing suddenly realized what he meant, her face turning even redder with a touch of embarrassment, ”Don’t tell me you also...”

Nodding his head, Ye Haochuan chuckled, ”That’s right, just like you, I’ve been selected by the school to teach an elective course on physiology. Hehe, Doctor Kou, we really are a matched pair!”

”Matched pair? What are you blabbering about?” Kou Jing stomped her foot, her face as red as a ripe apple.

”Sorry, sorry, my Chinese classes were never my strong suit, they were taught by the gym teacher. I got the idiom wrong just now, it should be ’the wife sings, the husband follows,’” Ye Haochuan grinned.

Kou Jing was utterly speechless, thinking, with your level of culture, you better not corrupt the students.

Seeing her dismissive expression, Ye Haochuan didn’t mind at all, and as he walked, he said, ”You know, I’ve always wanted to be a teacher since I was young; it’s just a pity that I’ve never been able to achieve that. Now that I can finally be a teacher, it feels like such an accomplishment, haha!”

Watching his carefree manner, and remembering his usual womanizing ways, Kou Jing inwardly spit at him. Pull the other one. You, a role model for students?
