Invincible Little School Doctor

Chapter 397: Chapter 396 Medical Disturbance

Seeing that something was wrong, Ye Haochuan immediately put down his chopsticks and watched the group of men and women warily.

Kou Jing, sitting opposite him, was stunned for a moment. Seeing that Ye Haochuan was being stared at, she couldn’t help but change color and said, ”What... what are you going to do?”

Among the group, the leader was a burly man in his thirties who glanced at Kou Jing and snorted, ”This has nothing to do with you, get out of the way!”

Kou Jing’s brows furrowed, and just as she was about to argue her case, Haochuan raised his hand to signal her to sit down quietly and not to speak.

Kou Jing held back her anger on the spot.

”Who are you? What do you want with me?” Haochuan said in a deep voice.

”Quack doctor, my wife saw you this morning for a consultation, and now she’s bleeding profusely. What do you have to say for yourself?” the burly man shouted loudly, as if he was ready to make trouble unless he got an explanation.

Quack doctor?

The patients and their families dining around them, as well as the doctors and nurses from the affiliated hospital, were all a bit incredulous upon hearing this. Doctor Ye was known as the best doctor in the entire affiliated hospital. How could he be called a quack doctor? Impossible?

For a moment, the room was filled with whispers and murmurs.

Any doctor pays special attention to their reputation, and Haochuan was no exception. Being called a quack doctor was something he simply could not tolerate.

Therefore, he became somewhat angry on the spot. However, before the situation was clear, he could only hold back.

”You say your wife was treated by me. Well then, where is your wife?” Haochuan asked, looking behind the burly man.

”Don’t bother looking. My wife has been transferred to another hospital now. What, you think I’m here to dodge a bill?” the burly man said angrily.

Haochuan frowned again but still responded through gritted teeth, ”If that’s the case, then where is your wife’s medical record? Let me see...”

”See what?” The burly man grabbed Haochuan’s lapel and said angrily, ”Damn it, my wife has been ruined by you, a quack doctor, and now you still doubt me? Are you even human?”

Haochuan, now provoked, reversed his grip on the man’s hand that was clutching his collar, easily broke it free, and pushed the burly man away, saying sternly, ”We can talk this out. Whether I’m a quack doctor or not isn’t something you can simply slander!”

Seeing himself forced back, the burly man waved at a few people behind him, ”What are you waiting for? Let’s get him!”

Suddenly, the men and women behind the burly man stepped forward and surrounded Haochuan, their emotions storming.

”Damn, what kind of doctor is this? Lacking any medical ethics, daring to deny responsibility!”

”Yeah, you’re too unethical as a doctor. You made my sister bleed so much, if you don’t give us an explanation today, beating you up would be letting you off too easy.”

”Hurry up, less nonsense, pay us five hundred thousand in compensation right now, or else you won’t be able to walk out of here today!”

The group of men and women were instigating the situation, seemingly pushing it to an uncontrollable state.

Haochuan grew angrier and angrier as he watched, and he exploded, ”All of you shut up!”

With that roar, he deliberately used the Lion’s Roar technique. Although it wasn’t deadly, it made everyone’s eardrums vibrate unpleasantly, feeling as if they were struck by thunder out of the blue.

The noisy scene quieted down a lot.

Haochuan snorted, ”I don’t even know who the patient you’re talking about is, so how can I admit responsibility? For all I know, you could just be troublemakers targeting hospitals.”

At that moment, the burly man’s head cleared a bit, and he lunged forward, throwing a punch at Haochuan’s face: ”Damn it, genius, I’m not here to cause trouble for doctors!”

Ye Haochuan was thoroughly enraged, his reason completely overshadowed by anger. Without the slightest courtesy, he raised his palm and caught the oncoming fist, then lightly pushed, sending the burly man flying backward to land on the ground, wailing in pain.

”The quack is hitting people, the quack is hitting people...”

It was the thick-waisted, barrel-like middle-aged woman among the group who was making a scene.

It had to be said, the middle-aged woman’s commotion was rather effective, immediately drawing the attention of many people in the distance.

At the same time, several other men in the group also lunged at Ye Haochuan, with two of them even hurling plates from a nearby dining table at him.

Damn it, you’re asking for it, so don’t blame me!

Angrily, Ye Haochuan had initially intended to hit their acupoints and then figure out the reason to resolve the issue, but since these people were so unreasonable, they couldn’t blame him for what followed.

With that thought, he focused his energy to his Dantian, the powerful aura erupting forth. Suddenly, everyone around felt an oppressive presence bearing down on them.

But what was even more surprising was yet to come.

The plates that were thrown his way, along with the leftovers inside them, seemed to hit an invisible wall and could not move any further. Instead, they were repelled by a force and sent flying back.

Instantly, the two men who had thrown the plates were doused with food, as disgusting as could be.

”Ah!” After a while, those near the two men covered their noses and retreated as if avoiding something repulsive.

Needless to say, the two men were mentally shattered at this moment, with a deep-seated hatred for Ye Haochuan. After recovering from their shock, they charged at him like madmen.

”You overestimate yourselves!” Ye Haochuan scoffed, and with his Meteor Step, he stepped out and vanished from sight.

The men surrounding him blinked in surprise, stood frozen like statues, but soon they felt their bodies lift off the ground as if they were being picked up, then they were thrown out of the cafeteria like trash.

Seeing that in just an instant, only he was left alone, the previous lead burly man was terrified.

As he saw himself about to be thrown out, the burly man’s next action surprised everyone present.

”Doctor Ye, I was wrong, please don’t throw me out, I’m really sorry, I shouldn’t have taken someone else’s money to set you up...” the burly man pleaded on his knees.

Ye Haochuan was taken aback. Someone had paid to set him up? Who could it be?

With that thought, he immediately demanded, ”Who sent you to do this?”

”I don’t know, he just gave me a sum of money and told me to find some people to trouble you,” the burly man said, his face a picture of misery, telling the truth.

Ye Haochuan’s anger grew as he listened, kicking the man and cursing, ”You don’t even know who the other party is and you dare to set me up?”

With that kick, the burly man rolled on the ground in an extremely sorry state, not daring to make a sound.

Seeing that he couldn’t get anything more out of him, Ye Haochuan felt somewhat frustrated and commanded, ”Get lost!”

The burly man didn’t dare to linger any longer, so he scrambled away as fast as he could.

Warm applause then filled the room, commending his impressive performance, especially from his fellow hospital colleagues, who were truly relieved. After all, medical disputes happen every year, but someone like Ye Haochuan who could expose the other party’s scheme on the spot was unprecedented!

Sitting back at the dining table, Kou Jing gazed at him as if he were a hero, joyfully saying, ”Do you know, you looked so cool just now, I noticed that a lot of girls around here were watching you!”

Ye Haochuan looked around and indeed that was the case, but as those girls met his gaze, they quickly averted their eyes, causing him to shake his head helplessly, ”Ah, being handsome is also a trouble!”
