Invincible Little School Doctor

Chapter 387: Chapter 386 A Piece of Cake

”What are you standing around for? Get your men and get the hell out of here! As for the chief, explain yourself to him!” Gao Ren barked.

Ma Tao’s face changed again, ”The commander knows about this as well?”

”What do you think?” Gao Ren sneered.

Ma Tao’s face turned the color of earth, and it took him a while to recover before he ordered, ”Brothers, let’s pull out!”

Just then, Ye Haochuan suddenly said, ”Ma, you come to our affiliated hospital to make trouble and now you think you can just slap your butt and walk away after making a mess?”

Ma Tao’s brow furrowed deeply, ”What do you want to do?”

”What do I want to do?” Ye Haochuan sneered, ”You tell me. Don’t you know the basic decency of apologizing?”

Ma Tao was furious, ”Apologize to you? Not a chance!”

Ye Haochuan sneered again and deliberately said, ”Fine, if you won’t apologize, then I’ll call Old Master Lin and let him teach you how to apologize.”

With that, he went to grab his phone to call Old Master Lin.

It was then that Ma Tao started to panic, cursing himself silently for having messed with the wrong person. He hurriedly offered his apologies, ”I’m sorry, Doctor Ye, truly sorry. I was blind to have caused such trouble. I’ll take my men and leave right away, please don’t tell the commander about this...”

Seeing his pitiful state, Ye Haochuan felt quite satisfied inside. Bullies like him needed to be taught a stern lesson.

”Get out!” Ye Haochuan commanded, without a hint of politeness.

Ma Tao didn’t dare linger any longer and quickly led his soldiers away in a hurry.

This dramatic scene was witnessed by everyone around, who were unspeakably astonished. What kind of power did Doctor Ye possess to make a Colonel Regimental Commander and so many soldiers retreat in disarray?

”Brother Gao, what brings you here?” As soon as Ma Tao and his group had left, Ye Haochuan asked Gao Ren.

”It was Eldest Miss Xiao who called the chief. I happened to be nearby University Town on business, so the chief asked me to come and take a look,” Gao Ren explained.

Ye Haochuan suddenly understood.

Then Gao Ren added, ”By the way, I have to remind you, this Ma Tao is no simple character. He is Secretary Tao’s son-in-law. Although our chief has a lot of weight in the military, his word doesn’t carry as much weight with the local government. You have to be careful.”

”Secretary Tao of the Municipal Party Committee?”

Ye Haochuan’s brow furrowed. With this connection to the powerful Municipal Party Committee Secretary, it seemed unlikely that Ma Tao would let the matter drop so easily.

”Yes, Commander Ma has been married to Secretary Tao’s daughter for five years now, and their relationship is very good. It’s a well-known fact in our military,” Gao Ren affirmed with certainty, then suddenly remembering something, he asked, ”What exactly happened between you and Commander Ma that he would go to such lengths to trouble you?”

”It’s like this...” Ye Haochuan then explained what had happened.

Gao Ren couldn’t help but laugh and shake his head, ”This Commander Ma, he can’t change his spots, can he? If he was asking for your help to treat his daughter for polio, he should’ve been humble. Why the need to put on airs?”

”Polio?” Ye Haochuan shook his head, ”Coincidentally, that disease for me is just a piece of cake. If Ma Tao had approached me politely, I would naturally not stand idly by. But if he wants to use his power to pressure me, then he’s delusional.”

Gao Ren knew a bit about Ye Haochuan’s background and joked, ”That’s right, that’s right. You are a disciple of the Ancient Martial Arts Sect, damn it, who dares to mess with you?”

Ye Haochuan couldn’t help but curse with a laugh, ”Brother Gao, stop teasing me.”

The two joked for a while, but since Gao Ren had urgent business to attend to, he hurriedly took his leave.

Just then, Xiao Haimei happened to come downstairs, learning that the issue had been perfectly resolved, she finally breathed a sigh of relief. However, she had nothing good to say about Ma Tao.

”Sister Mei, this Ma Tao has a complicated background. He’s the son-in-law of Secretary Tao of the municipal committee. If I’m not mistaken, he might continue with his schemes in the next couple of days. We need to be cautious,” Ye Haochuan warned.

”Ah! The son-in-law of Secretary Tao of the municipal committee?” A look of concern immediately appeared on Xiao Haimei’s lovely face.

She knew very well that Secretary Tao was the top authority in the Haishan Municipal Government, who didn’t even consider Mayor Lin as a challenger. If he decided to exert administrative pressure on the newly operational affiliated hospital, if he pressured her, should she give in, or should she resist?

For a moment, she found herself in a state of indecision.

”Forget it, Sister Mei, let’s not think about it anymore. The sky isn’t falling. Ma Tao is mainly targeting me. If he wants to come to me in a friendly manner, I certainly won’t stand by idly. But if he tries to bully his way through, I will categorically refuse to lift a finger to help,” Ye Haochuan stated.

”Sigh!” Xiao Haimei let out a sigh.

At this moment, her head was swimming. The affiliated hospital had finally been established, and now this issue had popped up; it was truly distressing.

But Ye Haochuan took it more lightly, after talking with her for a while, Xiao Haimei managed to set aside the annoyance in her heart.

Since there was still over an hour until the end of the workday, and Xiao Haimei still had a pile of things to deal with, she returned to her office.

Meanwhile, Ye Haochuan, feeling unsettled, went outside the University to get some fresh air. However, during that time, his phone rang; it was an unfamiliar number.

”Who is this?” Ye Haochuan pressed the answer button and asked.

”Hehe, Doctor Ye, I’m Bao Guozhong.”

”Oh, it’s you,” Ye Haochuan chuckled, ”What? Have you decided to proceed with the transfer of ownership with me?”

”Yes, yes, yes, Doctor Ye, where are you right now? Are you at Haishan University? If so, I’ll send someone to pick you up, and we can go carry out the transfer procedures. How about that?”

Without thinking too much, Ye Haochuan agreed and arranged a meeting place.

Five minutes later, near the university’s gate, Ye Haochuan saw a minivan come to a slow stop in front of him.

Then, the door of the minivan slid open, and a young man in a floral shirt jumped out, smiling obsequiously, ”Excuse me, are you Doctor Ye Haochuan?”

Ye Haochuan nodded.

”Oh, Doctor Ye, please, come in quickly. Brother Bao has already made arrangements, specially sending us to pick you up,” the young man said with a smile.

Ye Haochuan didn’t think much and got into the vehicle, but after boarding, he subconsciously felt something was amiss.

The reason being that in addition to the driver, there were three other men in the van, dressed garishly, obviously not upstanding characters.

With this realization, he feigned an excuse: ”Oh, I left some things in my office. Wait here; I’ll go back and get them.”

”Hehe, Doctor Ye, forget about it. Brother Bao is waiting for you!” The young man in the floral shirt who had spoken before, sat down in the van next to him, slid the van door shut, and sat next to Ye Haochuan, sandwiching him in the middle with another man.

At that moment, Ye Haochuan fully understood that damn Bao Guozhong was definitely up to no good.

Realizing this, he sneered to himself. So, you want to play dirty? Well, let’s see how I turn the tables on you!
