Chapter 372: Chapter 371: Addiction Outbreak

Pressed the answer key, Ye Haochuan asked, ”Bingqian, what’s the matter?”

”Uncle, where are you?” Zhao Bingqian’s voice was a bit anxious.

Ye Haochuan didn’t want to tell her that he was with Xiao Haimie, so he vaguely said, ”I’m out handling some business, what’s up?”

”It’s bad, my sister’s drug addiction relapsed. She’s freaking out at home right now, and I can’t control her anymore. Please come over quickly.” Zhao Bingqian was almost crying.

”Okay, I’ll come right over.”

After hanging up, Ye Haochuan had Xiao Haimie stop the car urgently.

”What happened?” Xiao Haimie was a bit baffled.

Ye Haochuan hesitated for a long while but eventually spilled the beans, of course, without explicitly mentioning his relationship with Zhao Bingqian.

”Hmph, you philandering scoundrel, your relationship with that Zhao Bingqian is probably not simple, is it?” Xiao Haimie said, a bit jealously.

Even with his thick-skinned face, Ye Haochuan couldn’t withstand her fiery gaze and said evasively, ”Sister Mei, don’t think so poorly of me, okay? Bingqian and I are just friends, and she even calls me uncle.”

”Uncle?” Xiao Haimie laughed disbelievingly, ”How old are you to have a girl calling you uncle?”

”How would I know?” Ye Haochuan shrugged helplessly. ”Her mouth is her own, what can I do if she wants to call me that?”

”Hmph, listen to me, you already have enough women around you. How many more do you want to bring home?” Xiao Haimie warned.

”Don’t worry, I won’t bring anyone home,” Ye Haochuan promised earnestly.

Yeah, don’t bring them home, why not just build a love nest elsewhere? Perhaps a golden house to hide the concubines, hehe!

Ye Haochuan thought to himself smugly.

Xiao Haimie pulled the car over and reiterated her instructions. Ye Haochuan acknowledged her concerns, then reached over, embraced her porcelain-white neck, and after a passionate kiss, he reluctantly stepped out of the car.

As soon as Xiao Haimie drove away, Ye Haochuan immediately called for a ride and rushed to the villa complex where Zhao Ruqian was located.

The place he was at was not far from the villa complex; the ride took only ten minutes to get him to his destination.

Seeing him at the gate of the villa, Zhao Bingqian rushed into his arms crying, ”Uncle, hurry, hurry, my sister is going crazy.”

Ye Haochuan patted her shoulder, comforting her, ”Bingqian, don’t panic, lead me to her.”

Upon entering the villa and reaching Zhao Ruqian’s bedroom upstairs, Ye Haochuan saw that the entire room was in chaos. Bedding, sheets, and pillows were scattered everywhere, and Zhao Ruqian herself was tied up with a nylon rope, sitting on the floor at the foot of the bed, continuously banging her forehead against the bed frame.

Clearly, after the onset of her drug addiction, Zhao Ruqian had completely lost control.

Ye Haochuan furrowed his brow and hurried forward, distancing her from the bed frame to stop her from continuing to hit it.

However, Zhao Ruqian, who had completely lost her sanity by then, started to go wild once pulled away and struggled desperately.

But in front of Ye Haochuan, her struggles were in vain; after a short struggle, she was firmly restrained and couldn’t move at all.

”Sister Ruqian, calm down. I’m going to untie you now, and then...”

However, he hadn’t finished speaking when Zhao Ruqian, who had seemed to calm down, suddenly let out a sharp scream. She lowered her head towards his wrist and viciously bit down.

Ye Haochuan instinctively wanted to pull his arm back and counter with his Qigong, but on second thought, he gave up the idea. After all, his Qigong was not ordinary. If he resisted, he might very well knock out her teeth. So, he had no choice but to let her teeth sink into his wrist.

As a result, there was no True Qi protecting that part of his wrist anymore, and pain soon pulsated through the area.

Zhao Ruqian, utterly unaware of what she was doing, kept biting down hard.

Zhao Bingqian rushed over at once, saying, ”Sister, Sister, snap out of it. You mustn’t bite him. You mustn’t!”

But Zhao Ruqian didn’t let go at all. Seeing Ye Haochuan’s wrist bleeding profusely, Zhao Bingqian became so anxious that she started hopping on one foot.

However, Ye Haochuan just smiled faintly, ”This pain is nothing.”

Zhao Bingqian’s eyes reddened as she said with distress, ”You stubborn man, you’re bleeding! Doesn’t it hurt at all? It’s killing me to see this.”

”It’s fine, it’s fine.” Ye Haochuan waved his hand and winked playfully, ”At worst, you can just compensate me well later, right?”

Zhao Bingqian, still moved by the moment, heard his words and saw his teasing expression. The sentiment was immediately gone. She stamped her foot and exclaimed, ”At a time like this, you still spout such nonsense?”

Ye Haochuan laughed heartily and unabashedly smacked his butt, saying, ”With your sister’s teeth, she couldn’t even bite through my manhood, let alone my hand.”

The nerve of this rascal! To even joke about my sister!

Zhao Bingqian lifted her foot to kick him, but Ye Haochuan quickly backed away, which only angered her more. She lunged at him, shouting, ”I’m going to tear your cheeky mouth apart!”

Ye Haochuan quickly raised his hands to stop her, saying, ”Don’t make a fuss, your sister is still suffering from her addiction. If she goes berserk, she could hurt you, and that would be my fault.”

Zhao Bingqian then held back, but the angry look remained in her eyes.

”Sister, quick, bring it to me. I can’t take it... Give me a little, I can’t bear it anymore... I swear, just this one time, and I promise I won’t do it again, really...”

Zhao Ruqian’s words became incoherent as she kept begging, her eyes bloodshot, resembling a mad tiger.

At that moment, Ye Haochuan took the opportunity to pull his hand back and swallowed a Blood Coagulation Pill. Immediately, the bleeding at his wrist stopped.

Zhao Bingqian watched with a heart tormented by pain. This was her beloved sister who had always cared for her, and now she was in such unbearable agony.

At that moment, she even felt a desperate wish to endure the pain herself.

Eventually, she couldn’t bear it any longer and said to Ye Haochuan, ”Uncle, with your superb medical skills, think of something, please. End my sister’s suffering soon?”

Ye Haochuan, however, shook his head. ”That won’t do. We can’t proceed like that. Detoxification needs her own strong will to quit. If I help her now, her pain might lessen, but if the addiction recurs, she’ll seek my help again. That would create a vicious cycle and ultimately harm your sister.”

”But if it continues like this, won’t my sister suffer for a long time?” Zhao Bingqian pressed urgently.

”Don’t worry about that. As long as your sister keeps enduring for three days to get used to the pain of the withdrawal symptoms, I’ll apply acupuncture. Within a week, I can gradually eliminate all the toxins in her body.”

Hearing this, Zhao Bingqian had to suppress her own heartache, embracing her sister and crying, ”Sister, you have to be strong. Just endure a little longer, and Uncle will be able to save you.”
