“This little girl seems odd, as if she knows that the giant mosquito monster is just one of its kind,” Ye Tongyu analyzed the words spoken by Jia Lin earlier.

“My thoughts exactly.

She seems to know more about that giant mosquito than us.

The things she says sometimes make it seem like she has interacted with it before,” echoed Zhang Shiming.

Just behind the two of them, a figure appeared, who seemed to have a slight difficulty moving around.

“Please avoid interacting with the girl in the future,” he said.

He was a man with a bearded face, rugged cheeks, projecting a sturdy appearance.

His expression was nonchalant as he walked step by step towards the two students.

Upon seeing this man, Zhang Shiming’s face instantly turned pale!

Having learnt martial arts from reputed instructors, he had encountered formidable figures before, but none carried the murderous aura that seemed to emanate from this man.

Only those who were highly skilled or had some potential such as Zhang Shiming could discern this subtle murderous aura.

“You sure are perceptive!” the bearded man exclaimed in mild surprise as he considered Zhang Shiming.

This university student wasn’t completely useless, showing some potential.

“You want us to keep our distance from the girl.

Who exactly are you to her?” Ye Tongyu seemed ticked off, unaware of the true nature of this bearded man who emerged, retorting in annoyance.

“Tongyu, stop talking!” Zhang Shiming quickly interrupted Ye Tongyu.

After sensing the murderous aura from the bearded man, he knew there was no chance they could stand up to him, quickly pulling at the still contentious girl.

“Apologies, we won’t be in contact with Jia Lin anymore!”

After saying this, he hurriedly left, pulling Ye Tongyu along.

The bearded man stood behind, watching them.

He figured that since the young man could detect his murderous aura, he wouldn’t be foolish to return and provoke his wrath.

Leaving aside how the college students dealt with the situation or how the eyeglass-wearing young man upstairs told Jia Lin about these events, our focus now is on Jia Yan, descending rapidly from the sky.

His current nest is the town from which he had previously operated.

The town is now devoid of any human inhabitants.

The past emergence of the giant mosquito had urged the residents, who had prepared to evacuate, to swiftly pack their bags and join the fleeing crowd.

Jia Yan didn’t mind it, assuming that it could possibly be safer for them to be scared away by him and leave the already insecure city.

Descending swiftly.

The previous combat had somewhat exhausted Jia Yan.

He carefully collected the green-grey pebbles, his current spoils of war, each one carefully hidden in a safe place.

“The loot this time was only a fraction of what I expected.

Seems like I need to work harder in the future.”

Jia Yan calculated his harvest.

Accustomed to rapid increases in strength, he simply couldn’t tolerate such a lengthy process of upliftment.

“Maybe I need to change my approach.

Although these green-grey pebbles are precious, during my previous showdown with the army of metallic monsters, I inflicted heavy casualties among their thousand-strong army.

What if next time, I encounter a smaller battalion of these metallic monsters – around a hundred or two hundred.

Could I change my strategy and use these pebbles to completely exterminate them?

It’s possible I might receive an increased reward of green-grey pebbles.”

Jia Yan was contemplating new tactics.

Had the opposing army, during his last battle against a thousand metallic monsters, been slightly smaller, he could have wiped them out completely.

So, if the enemy’s size were around a hundred or slightly more, should he consider using green-grey pebbles to annihilate them completely and then calculate the harvest of green-grey pebbles to evaluate if the reward is greater than the cost?

Having considered all these, Jia Yan once again gathered some green-grey pebbles, hoping to promptly accumulate more, implying some degree of experimentation would be necessary!

No rewards come without making sacrifices!

Jia Yan was constantly engaging in fierce battles with metallic monsters.

The people of Huaxia and other human nations around the world were also engaged in bitter battles!

There was also another entity engulfed in this struggle.

At a time when Jia Yan was still at war.

A disc-shaped object was soaring through the sky!

Behind him, there was another object that appeared elongated!

Any humans who saw these two objects would surely be very surprised.

Because, in the world, the two most widely recognized stereotypes were not only that the UFOs were of discoid shape, but also that this unidentified flying object, or ‘flying stick’, was situated behind it!

Screech…

Screech…!!——

A white electric beam shot out from the front end of the flying stick at the rear.

The flying saucer at the front dodged in a very awkward fashion.

Both objects were moving so fast that they were almost invisible to the naked eye, executing a series of movements that Jia Yan would find preposterous even if he were to witness them.

The flying stick at the rear seemed to be in top condition, while the flying saucer at the front was in a terribly awkward state.

It continued to perform numerous maneuvers mid-air and barely escaped the white beams fired by the flying stick behind several times.

But it always managed to elude danger at the last moment!

The speed of both objects was at least five times the speed of sound, appearing like a streak of light and shadow in the sky.

Chasing and dodging each other, they left countless trails of light and shadow in mid-air.

If any human saw the battle-scarred flying saucer, they would certainly recognize it.

It was the same one that the media had reported earlier.

However, it now appeared even more damaged than it had been in the media updates.

The two continued to battle in mid-air, with the flying saucer always at a disadvantage.

Slowly, their path diverged from the north of the Chinese mainland and moved southwards.

Oddly enough, before long, they would probably reach the vicinity of Shanghai City, where Jia Yan was.

The Big Mosquito was unaware of this.

After taking a break, it simply continued to fly into the sky!

The land underneath was still a scene of utter devastation, but there were far fewer humans.

Those who could flee had fled safely, while those who couldn’t had mostly perished.

The metal monsters had gone berserk overnight!

Ever since they had demonstrated their formidable interception technology in the Wa Kingdom, no country could continue to use nuclear weapons.

Only the Wa Kingdom was unable to resist the attacks of the metal monsters.

Their capital, the Tokyo Circle, was falling more quickly.

So, after making an urgent request to the Stars and Stripes Country, the latter, after much deliberation, had allocated a batch of nuclear bombs to the Wa Kingdom.

This wave of nuclear attack consisted of a total of twenty bombs!

With their whistling winds, these nuclear bombs were finally launched towards the direction of the Wa Kingdomtoday at noon!

Suffice it to say, countless people were regarding this nuclear strike as a life-saver!

A single nuclear bomb the metal monsters could intercept, but how about a barrage of so many nuclear bombs?

If they couldn’t intercept them, then all the nuclear-weaponized countries would definitely overlook the resultant environmental issues in the future and carry out a major nuclear attack!

At the time when the Big Mosquito was seen in China, flying into the sky with the green-grey pebbles.

Tens of red beams appeared in front of these launched nuclear warheads!

BOOM!!

BOOM!!

BOOM!!

BOOM!!——

The nuclear weapons of various yields were hit by the red beams and exploded mid-air!

A gigantic fireball.

Countless people collapsed on the ground when they saw this scene.

In fact, before the use of nuclear weapons, a myriad of powerful weapons had been fired at the regions occupied by the metal monsters!

Flame throwers, napalm bombs, gas bombs, and various other known and unknown weapons, were launched towards the areas where the metal monsters were staying!

But these attacks either were intercepted by the red beams and exploded, or after they entered the regions populated by the metal monsters, produced no echo…
