[Seeking Subscription]_1 “Wait, I think that stubborn girl must’ve gone to see her sister who she met in Shanghu, I think her name is Xiao Qi.” Father Jia uttered this thought at the doorway.

“Xiao Qi, huh?

Okay, we got it.

Don’t worry, we’ll surely bring her back.”

The two assassins strode out of the building confidently.

They really didn’t worry too much about Jia’s Lin’s whereabouts.

After all, she was merely visiting someone she knew, not involving herself in anything dangerous.

They were aware that she had once managed to survive on her own in Shanghu, seeking revenge, so they didn’t expect her to be in danger now, considering how strong and brave she was.

What the two elders of the Jia Family didn’t know was that they were the ones who had called them and had asked to pick up their daughter from Xiao Qi’s place.

Thus, they knew where Xiao Qi lived.

The two of them got into the car, bracing themselves for another round of bustle but were relieved knowing that there was probably no danger this time.

In the outskirts of Shanghu.

A massive figure roared through the howling winds, soaring in the sky!

Refugees who had vainly sought refuge in this city and had been denied entry were huddled together outside the city.

They saw the monster looming in the sky!

“A Giant Mosquito!

Look, it’s the Giant Mosquito monster they talked about on the internet and the news!” someone in the crowd cried out.

People gasped in astonishment as they looked up.

Some were tense, frightened that the so-called overpowering Giant Mosquito monster might attack them.

Others, however, nonchalantly took out their cellphones to record the spectacle.

Jia Yan was flying above them.

A tear in his right wing made it difficult to control his flight.

He had grown accustomed to the crowds beneath him.

Along the way, he encountered countless clamoring and excited discussions; he never bothered to hide his form.

The giant creature flew ahead.

Jia Yan had planned to fly directly into Shanghu city.

But, the authorities in Huaxia were clearly not going to let him.

Before he came anywhere near Shanghu, he was intercepted by a fighter jet, just a few dozen kilometers away, just as he had been the last time!

It seemed to be the same advanced Fighter 20 jet.

The pilot seemed very familiar; he saluted Jia Yan when he saw him!

The story of the massive mosquito monster had been viral on the internet for some time now.

This pilot was intrigued by the creature after seeing that it could take on the F15s from the Wa Kingdom and even took two of them down.

His interest piqued, the pilot indulged in more in-depth research, leading him to realize that this creature showed signs of intelligence!

After a careful analysis of the mosquito monster’s battles, it wasn’t difficult to spot the inherent tactical and combat genius.

Although others didn’t entirely agree with his views, the pilot thought that this Giant mosquito monster race was capable of communication.

Last time, the very same creature retreated intelligently.

Wasn’t this proof of intelligence?

This time the pilot saluted the mosquito monster because he believed it was an intelligent creature!

“This guy is interesting.

Even gave me a salute!” Jia Yan’s eye-gaze was good; he had spotted the pilot’s gesture as the fighter jet zoomed past him.

Since the pilot was being respectful, Jia Yan couldn’t be too rude, could he?

After stopping for a moment, he did a U-turn and flew in the opposite direction of Shanghu City.

“Command center, did you see that?

The monster understood me!

It’s leaving!” The pilot was ecstatic, performing a stunning roll maneuver in his Fighter 20.

This seemingly proved his theory that the Giant Mosquito was capable of communication.

However, the command center did not respond to the pilot’s claims and simply cautioned him to keep an eye on the monster’s movements.

Jia Yan didn’t actually want to enter Shanghu city; he knew that his presence in a vast international metropolis like this would surely incite human panic.

Therefore, he obediently left.

Yet, he knew of a way to communicate with his family in Shanghu City.

It was the internet!

Having flown for so long, he was somewhat tired, especially since one wing was damaged.

His stamina consumption had at least doubled.

So, after Jia Yan shook off that Fighter 20, he avoided most people’s gaze, and after half an hour of flight, he descended near a small village far from Shanghai City.

This village was not so populous, Jia Yan glanced around, made sure no one was following him, came into the woods near the village after making sure his figure was not tracked, and removed the notebook bag on his body, which had already drawn quite some attention on the way.

There should be internet here, so Jia Yan directly opened the notebook.

“Huh?

My little sister accepted my friend request?”

After logging into QQ, the first system message Jia Yan saw was that his little sister Jia Lin had accepted his friend request.

At this moment, Jia Lin was still on the bus, playing with her phone while sitting.

As a girl who just got her parent’s permission to use a cellphone, she was obviously thrilled!

“Hello, my name is Bugwen, are you Jia Lin??”

Suddenly, she saw this message. She remembered someone named Bugwen adding her as a friend when she logged in earlier.

Bugwen, seems to be a fan of the Giant Mosquito!

At this thought, she developed a fondness for this person, for she seemed to have some kind of fate with that giant mosquito monster, so naturally, she had a bit of an affinity towards a giant mosquito enthusiast!

However, this person knew her name, so he should be an acquaintance.

“Hello, it’s Jia Lin, who are you!?”

Jia Lin asked curiously.

In the mountain village quite far from Shanghai, when Jia Yan saw his little sister’s reply, although it was just a simple sentence, his heart tightened, it was a feeling hard to put into words.

After being reincarnated for so long, this seemed to be the first time he had a real conversation with his little sister, and that made him feel somewhat touched.

Jia Yan quickly wrote back, understanding that to his little sister, he was just a newly added online friend, no more than a stranger, so he dared not say much else.

“I am a good friend of your brother’s from college, he used to talk about you often, so I added you as a friend, wanting to know how you’ve been lately,” Jia Yan thought for a moment, and typed out this line.

“Oh, a friend of my brother’s from college?

Why did you add me only now, months after everything happened?” Jia Lin was on the bus, Bugwen’s message triggered memories of her brother.

Looking at the city where her brother once lived below the bus, a sudden pang of sorrow arose.

At this moment, Jia Lin’s expression on the bus was one of distress, incredibly pitiful.

However, everyone in Shanghai felt endangered, so who would notice the pain of this sweet girl?

As such, this young girl was left alone to swallow down all her painful memories.

“I’m sorry, I never heard my brother mention you, so I don’t know you!”

Jia Lin responded cautiously.

Actually, the implied meaning of this sentence was that she didn’t want to talk to this so-called ‘Bugwen’ anymore.

For any typical boy, this would probably be a bit of a blow, but seeing this reply, Jia Yan not only didn’t take a blow, he felt relieved.

His little sister had truly grown up, if she were this guarded, she could protect herself in the future!

Still, he didn’t want to be removed by his little sister just like that, so he typed another reply: “Jia Yan should have mentioned me before.

I’m his college dorm neighbor, Li Ran.

Have you heard him mention me?” (To be continued.
