The following day, these two students took action together and arrived at the scene of the Giant Mosquito attack on humans.

The official explanation is that there is a gang in this place, and the gang attacked the Giant Mosquito flying in the sky, which led to the Giant Mosquito killing them!

However, both students have some doubts about this.

“This place is the first point of attack, but the following attack points have moved to ten meters away.

I don’t think these thugs could have escaped to ten meters away under the attack of the Giant Mosquito, allowing it to continue attacking them, which is the biggest doubt!”

Zhang Shiming stood on the ground, observing the surrounding environment.

Their greatest growth in these few months is that they have gained certain investigative and analytical abilities.

Around the two students, there were several police and military personnel analyzing the battlefield.

If it weren’t for Ye Tongyu showing her identification from the largest domestic media company, it would have been unlikely for her to access this incident site.

However, this identification was from over a month ago.

If the other party is serious, their true identities would be exposed.

“This indeed seems impossible, but what if there are some special factors?”

Zhang Shiming, a biology student, had the smart and logical thinking of a science student at this moment.

“Special factors?

Even if there are special factors, we wouldn’t know about it.

There’s no cameras around this place, otherwise the truth would be known long ago!” Ye Tongyu shook her head helplessly.

They knew that no matter how powerful they are, they could not compare with the police.

If even the police couldn’t get any useful information, they would have less chance!

“Let’s go, we’ll investigate outside.”

Zhang Shiming noticed a cop on a phone call who occasionally frowned at them, so he had a bad feeling.

He quickly nudged Ye Tongyu’s sleeve.

Understanding his meaning, both of them quickly walked toward the outside of the cordon.

“You two wait a bit!”

The cop who just hung up his phone called out, but the two youngsters were already running fast!

They turned a corner, and these two were gone.

The two cops chasing behind immediately lost sight of them.

“Forget it, I just heard that they are the initiators of the Giant Mosquito fans club.

There’s already so many people at the detention center that it’s about to be full.

Don’t bother about these people, just be careful if they return!”

The cop who was on the phone shook his head speechlessly.

He had just called to investigate the information of the male and female, and found out that although the girl was indeed hired by the large media company, she gave up the job even before her internship there began.

Unexpectedly, she used this identity to come here and collect information.

But they’re just fans from the internet and not someone who’s intentionally committing a crime.

They posed no harm to the current public security, so they just ignored them!

After running quickly, the two college students stopped in a small alley.

They looked at each other and laughed.

The current situation seemed very similar to their encounter in the factory forest, so they somehow felt a strange sense of nostalgia.

“Let’s go and ask the people over there, maybe we’ll learn something.” Ye Tongyu suddenly suggested.

This suggestion immediately doused the determination of the boy, who seemed to have made up his mind about something.

Unable to object, he followed the girl towards the surrounding civilians.

Both of them acted very professionally, having spent recent times following the Giant Mosquito’s trail and traveling all around the country.

Day by day, they’d been interviewing eyewitnesses, so they had become very accustomed to this procedure.

“So you saw a few men chasing a girl, and then the sound of the Giant Mosquito landing came from that direction, right?”

Hearing the roadside man’s explanation, both Ye Tongyu and Zhang Shiming’s expressions changed.

Their intuition told them that there might be something important to investigate here!

“What do you want me to tell you?

Fine, as long as you accompany me for one night!” The man squatting by the road was a young man in his twenties.

Upon seeing Ye Tongyu, he sported a lecherous grin, knowing that he had information they needed, he tried to take advantage!

Zhang Shiming’s face darkened.

After surviving several dangerous situations, he had been honing his combat skills during these few months as if he had someone to protect.

His progress was spectacular.

With his naturally strong physique and combat talent, his abilities had soared.

Seeing this, he walked straight towards the man.

The man scoffed disdainfully, not taking this newbie who looked like a university student seriously at all!

A moment later, a horrific scream echoed from the alleyway.

After a while, the pair emerged.

“Didn’t expect you to be so strong now.” Ye Tongyu looked at Zhang Shiming, her bright eyes filled with a hint of surprise.

“Of course, I’ve always been talented.

After intense training, I’ve become this strong.

Even my teachers have called me a once-in-a-lifetime genius!”

Zhang Shiming praised himself without humility.

“Braggart!” Ye Tongyu chuckled, and then added, “Should we go find that girl now?

This man happened to be near the scene and had picked up the cellphone dropped by the man chasing her.

This cellphone might be a clue.”

“Let’s go find her.

She may know exactly what happened.”

A few dozen kilometers away from Shanghu, Jia Yan was preparing for his next power-up.

“Now that the Shanghu situation is settled, I need to get ready to become much stronger!

Otherwise, I still won’t stand a chance against those mysterious entities.”

The Giant Mosquito lay on the ground in front of him, a news headline displayed on his laptop: “Huaxia National Army clashes with mysterious flying object, heavy casualties suffered!”

In the news report, a clear picture had been taken of the UFO that Jia Yan had seen.

The image depicted white beams of light constantly shooting from it.

One of these beams hit a soldier nearby, and a shower of blood decorated the frame, filling the entire scene with the stench of gore.

Such bloody reports were usually prohibited in Huaxia, but authorities allowed it to stress the urgency of the situation.

The accompanying article depicted an even grimmer story.

Jia Yan had read the article.

After he’d left the research facility at Qinghai Lake, a troop of soldiers had arrived there.

The soldiers were probably there for him, but instead, they fought a great battle with the UFO!

According to the article, they had originally discovered the mysterious large object under a research project.

They had believed it was safe.

But unexpectedly, it had not only sprung to life but also battled a unit of the Huaxia National Army!

The specifics of the battle and the affiliation of the unit weren’t detailed in the article.

It merely mentioned that they were a highly-elite unit of the Huaxia National Army.

Remarkably, they suffered nearly eight hundred casualties before the UFO calmly left, allowing the survivors to be rescued.

The article suggested that, if you included the UFO, the true nature of the monsters appearing on Earth was slowly being revealed!

They must be a monster group coveting the Earth!

And it seems there are several kinds of these monsters.

The tension between the Giant mosquito monster and the Metal Monster indicated they were not allies.

The relationships between the now-seen UFO and the three large monsters that disappeared immediately after appearing remained unknown.

However, their intentions to topple human society were clear to all!

Another chapter coming soon!!
