[Seeking Subscription]_1 Broadcasting live throughout the human world were countless television stations, streaming footage of nuclear weapons being unleashed upon the metal monster!

Humans were desperately in need of a victory, a weapon to boost their morale.

And this nuclear attack was a step in trying to raise that spirit!

If it was successful, then nuclear warfare would likely ensue worldwide!

Of course, even if they won, the cost was immense, the environmental impact alone was, to say nothing of the fact that many nations and even some terrorist groups might get their hands on some nuclear weapons.

Yet all of it seemed worth it if they could eliminate the metal monster and the threat it posed to the human world!

Despite the numerous drawbacks, when it is time to use something, you use it!

The morale that one nuclear bomb could provide was undoubtedly massive.

Yet what no one expected was that inside the city of the Tokyo Circle in the Wa Kingdom, a blazing red beam of light was shot through, ironically at the moment of most anticipation.

It shattered the dreams of countless people!

Boom!!

As the television stations were live-streaming the trajectory of the nuclear warhead about to hit the mainland of the Wa Kingdom, commentators across different countries were also busy introducing the key data of this medium-range nuclear missile!

The red beam, like beautiful fireworks cutting through layers of fog, arrived without warning!

But what it brought was not a beautiful scene, but rather a kind of despair-inducing destruction!

The speed of the nuclear warhead was extremely fast – its launch speed could exceed the speed of sound several times over.

But this speed was nothing in front of the red beam of light!

The red beam sped towards its target at a speed that was unquantifiable!

So quickly that humans could only see a red shadow moving!

And then it directly collided head-on with the nuclear warhead!

Boom!!

A startlingly bright white light, as if it had torn through the universe itself, precisely hit the missile in flight!

Its purpose was clear – to completely shatter all hope of the people!

A deafening explosion followed!

The sound was enormous, but what was even louder was the sound of countless people’s hopes being crushed!

Along with the sound came a dazzling light illuminating the screens in a live broadcast, where the missile hadn’t even left the area visible from the aircraft carrier.

High-definition cameras, tracking the missile’s path, transmitted this video through countless screens and into millions of households…

Boom, Boom, Boom, Boom!!

The bright white light surged in mid-air, its brightness surpassing even the sun in a fleeting moment!

People couldn’t help but close their eyes, tight.

But that tremendous explosion sound was still transmitted into all the homes through the television’s broadcast!

At this point, the red light in the explosion had already triggered the nuclear warhead!

An even brighter light ripped through the sky!

A mushroom cloud, as if it could pierce through the sky, slowly began to form while the huge explosive blast wave instantly affected the distant aircraft carrier causing it to shake vigorously.

The simultaneous shake of the camera was no concern at this moment.

Everyone watching was left speechless by the sight of the detonated nuclear bomb triggered mid-air by a massive red light, their minds filled with one shared thought!

Things had seriously gone too far!

The red light was obviously the work of the metal monster.

Although they couldn’t emit such an intense red light, their attack was incredibly similar to this!

Everyone who had witnessed this red light would never forget its appearance!

And on this Earth, apart from the metal monsters, what else could produce such a red beam of light?

Even humans were not able to do it!

However, this beam of red light has reached such an astounding strength, that it is beyond comparison with the red rays emitted by individual metallic monsters!

Humans have continuously pondered over the existence of these metal monsters, offering countless answers.

Some have proposed that the metal monsters were manufactured by a wicked science organization.

Others have suggested that they were left behind by some ancient civilization.

Still others have claimed that these monsters were sent by God to eliminate the human virus in the universe!

Nevertheless, when everyone witnessed the true combat power of these metal monsters, a sense of relief arose.

Even though they were not capable of dealing with them fully, at least they could withstand them to some extent!

Everyone has contemplated the scenario – how would the Earth world look if the metal monsters possessed weapons and powers far beyond human comprehension?

Would it result in total devastation?

Or would humans end up being reduced to slavelike existence?

Narratives thus far, suggest that these metal monsters are neither hot nor cold.

Although they suppress the human armies, it is not a complete suppression.

There are even calculations suggesting complete annihilation of these monsters after they defeat fifty million human soldiers due to energy depletion.

After being introduced online, this hypothesis gained huge popularity.

The individual who proposed this formula became the talk of the town and even got featured on television!

However, this is merely an imagination of the human world!

What brings these metallic monsters to our world, if they follow the trajectory laid out by human imagination?

In reality, they might not have unleashed their full strength even at this point!

The high-rise buildings with massive destructive power are evidence!

What would be the scale of destruction if this red light was targeted towards cities inhabited by humans?

We do not know!

How many guns have these metal monsters built?

We do not know!

How many beams of red light can a single gun emit?

We do not know!

In reality, after fighting for so many days, humans thought they understood their metallic adversaries citing them with scientific names.

However, real metal monsters are still unknown to humans!

Today’s nuclear attack was supposed to bolster human resolve against metal monsters but resulted in the contrary.

Not just high-ranking officials but even common people were left stunned.

A sense of icy fear dominated everyone!

Can they really defeat these metal monsters?

No child should be sent to join the army!

Support for countries immediately fell to an all-time low!

Stock prices also witnessed a significant fall at the same time!

All of humanity plunged into a state of panic!

It was mere a single beam of red light that drove the entire human world into a state of panic.

No!

More like a state of despair!!

If anyone could see the skyscraper at fault, it would appear as if it did nothing at all but stood proudly in the cold high-altitude winds!

This despair-inducing gun always maintained its indifferent look.

The upheavals in the world of Earth’s humans had no effect on Jia Yan at Qinghai Lake, Huaxia country!

Big Mosquito stopped thinking about these things for now and concentrated on uncovering the secrets of the research institute near his location!

Not far from the research institute, in a bush, Jia Yan gazed at the distant research institute through his compound eyes.

It was a cloudy day with no sight of the sunlight.

The weather seemed to be hinting at the uproar in the Wa Kingdom, which affected all humans.

However, Jia Yan had other things on his mind.

All he wanted was to continue strengthening himself.

Perhaps he also felt a certain pressure.

Against the metal monsters, and in the face of this crisis, he had to become stronger to counter them.

Of course, at this time he did not think too much about it.

He was also not aware of the nuclear warhead being launched in the Wa Kingdom!
