[Subscribe Requested]_1 It was a building of more than a dozen meters high that seemed to only have one floor, without any windows or doors, seemingly an inaccessible building.

But there must be a way in, like through an underground passage or hidden doors.

Yet at least to the naked eye, this building was indeed very eerie!

Also, the sense of danger that Jia Yan had constantly been feeling, seemed to be coming from this building.

Due to Jia Yan’s rapid descent, as he threw the green-grey pebble at low altitude, the odd creature or whatever it was, simply had no time to summon a metallic substance for a defense against the green-grey pebble!

Jia Yan only saw a piece of metallic material flash in the sky behind him, chasing after the green-grey pebble he had thrown!

However, even if this metallic substance had a flight speed more than three times the speed of sound, compared to the green-grey pebble that Jia Yan had thrown at a speed of two thousand kilometers per hour, it still had a slight speed difference!

Moreover, the green-grey pebble at low altitude would hit the ground in a matter of seconds!

That creature, or whatever it was, obviously would not think that what Jia Yan threw down was useless.

So even at this point, when it clearly couldn’t catch up, it was still frantically chasing after it!

Indeed, the speed of the green-grey pebble exceeded the metallic substance by quite a bit!

Just as the thing was barely reaching the green-grey pebble from behind…

The pebble had hit the building that Jia Yan believed to be the creature’s lair with an unstoppable force!!

A dazzling light suddenly bloomed in this rainy night!

Bang!!!

——

The night sky ignited like a massive firework, its flame devouring hundreds of square meters in an instant!

The reddish light reflected off the ground, casting a crimson glow, and something resembling a mushroom cloud slowly rose into the night sky.

While its power was undoubtedly many levels less than that of the atomic bomb explosion in Wa Kingdom, this very light was now a decisive factor in this showdown!

Boom boom boom!!

The light continuously flashed, and fragments flew across the world along with the illumination.

However, the creator of this explosion, Jia Yan, soared swiftly into the sky, still bearing the brunt of the creature’s sound attack at this moment!

But at this point, he’d already managed to break through the most dangerous distance of a hundred meters.

After exceeding the hundred meters, slightly affected by the oscillating sound, he crashed into the surrounding wall of the institute!

Bang bang!!!

The Giant Mosquito smashed through the entire fence and, in the heavy dust, the Big Mosquito immediately took off again, flying towards the sky.

Wings continuously flapping, the Big Mosquito was rapidly flying between heaven and earth.

He took in the view below through his compound eyes as his body quickly escaped the effect of the sound, breaking through to an altitude of around one thousand meters!

“This place must be the limit of that sound’s effect!”

Jia Yan felt the influence of the sound on his body.

Up to this point, he still didn’t know what it was, but he could make the correct judgment – the effect of the sound would not exceed a thousand meters.

Beyond a thousand meters, although it could be heard, at least for him, it no longer had a significant impact!

Jia Yan was just watching from an altitude of a thousand meters.

The explosion scene below was still ongoing.

After all, Jia Yan had ascended to a thousand meters in such a short time, so it was quite normal for the explosion to still be happening.

Moreover, he didn’t know if there was anything to trigger a chain explosion in that building, which suddenly set off a massive explosion.

Amid the flames, a faint roar of anger echoed from the ground.

Fragments of debris ricocheted everywhere in the world.

The splashes were as high as a thousand meters!

However, in the depths of Jia Yan’s compound eyes, he did not pay attention to the enormous impact of this explosion.

He knew that the object, or perhaps the creature, that attacked him, might reveal its true form in this explosion.

Jia Yan didn’t believe it would be wounded by this attack.

After all, even if he himself was at the epicentre of the explosion, at most he would be seriously injured, and it would not be fatal.

And a creature or object he was wary of could not possibly die so easily, it seemed!

Sure enough, under the watchful gaze of Jia Yan’s compound eyes, a jet-black metallic substance abruptly darted out from the flames at supersonic speed, thrusting towards Jia Yan!

“It really came out!” Jia Yan eyed the metallic substance—the exact same hexagonal metal, which had entangled with him in the previous combat!

He had claimed one piece last time, and this up close, he didn’t see any metal object showing up!

But at that moment, the metallic object emerged!

Looking at the metal, Jia Yan finally had confirmation of a theory he had been uncertain of.

That was, if the other party’s metallic substance was infinite, this proved otherwise!

Last time, two metallic objects were pursuing him, but now there is only that leftover.

Would this suggest that the creature only has this precious piece of metal as its last resort?

Forced by his explosion, it had to draw its trump card!

However, it could also be possible that the other party was using a feint.

After all, it clearly possessed some intelligence.

Staring at the metal that was approaching him rapidly, why would Jia Yan—who had the experience of dealing with two pieces of metal—let a single piece harm him!?

Therefore, he executed a large sweeping turn in the air.

His airborne body performed a manoeuvre that defied the laws of physics, followed by an expertly executed U-turn!

However, the metallic object trailing him was equally quick.

Its base speed was even faster than Jia Yan’s.

Even though it seemed a little unskilled in flight, its manoeuvring speed was not that behind!

But Jia Yan was a true flying creature.

At this time, he could accomplish incredible aerial movements, plus with his ever-sharpening mind, his moves were always uniquely different!

In mid-air, the Big Mosquito and the metallic object started chasing each other, but his eyes were still locked on the building ruins below!

Smoky dust continued to hover around, but the silhouette of that building slowly began to take shape.

The rain began to intensify at this time.

Splash, splash, splash!

The sound of raindrops echoed across the land.

Sometimes, a battlefield is engulfed in great tumult, but, sometimes, it’s eerily quiet.

Only those who have truly faced such situations would understand.

When people talk of wars and battles, they think it’s heroic confrontation, a constant shedding of blood and flames.

However, no one knows that this peculiar silence in the heat of battles is also part of the surreal landscape.

Especially scenarios where Jia Yan, as a Giant Mosquito, battles with other monsters.

Their fights might seem less visible as compared to human armies, but when quiet, it is eerily silent.

Jia Yan, listening to the whooshing winds passing his ears, he was not looking at the metallic object chasing him from behind, instead, he was watching below.

That place full of an eerie momentum, the momentum became more pronounced now!

Finally, the dust, washed away by the rain, began to fade gradually.

And now, the damaged building appeared in front of Jia Yan.

It had lost a good portion of its structure.

Apparently, the building was constructed out of adequate building materials.

So, despite half the portion collapsing, the rest, still stood strong, without any imminent sign of falling apart.

In an instant, Jia Yan saw that within this half-collapsed building, a huge object reflected the dim radiance of the night!

At this moment, Jia Yan could only feel his scalp tingle.

A feeling of disbelief swelled from within him.

Almost at the same moment of the shock, the metallic object chasing behind was nearly on him!
