[Seeking subscription]_1 Setting all this aside, Jia Yan continued to crawl.

He still felt a little uncomfortable at the moment, so he decided to rest for a while.

Even though he couldn’t sleep, his compound eyes were examining the research institute buildings in the distance from where the terrifying entity came!

Jia Yan himself didn’t know what he thought about it, but it was evident that he was extremely interested in it, and this interest wasn’t as simple as a curiosity to study it!

After all, he was no scientist with a pursuit of such things.

He was only wondering if he could gain some benefits from this entity?

“I should be right about my feeling!

This thing is a creature, and not just an ordinary one, it’s a terrifying creature I’ve never encountered before!”

“But this creature is really terrifying.

It can emit such a sound to confront others.

And until now, I still don’t understand what this sound is all about.

After all, I almost fell into a coma, and the only thing I can remember is that the staff members were not affected at all!”

Jia Yan’s eyes were somewhat glowing.

“So, can I conclude that the sound is not actually a sound, but a form of invisible shock wave?

The shock wave reached my brain and turned into a kind of attacking power, leading me to images of huge explosions!”

Jia Yan’s compound eyes lit up even more.

“If my guess isn’t wrong, then this creature might be able to use shock waves to attack others’ brains.

Is it some creature in that research institute?”

“Then, is this metal piece an actual piece of metal, or a substance that fell from this monster itself?

If this substance fell off from it, it’s quite frightening.

It can attack with parts of its own body like this, and after a while, I’ve observed that the metal piece doesn’t have any flight device.

It suggests that it can’t fly by itself, then how can the creature control the metal piece from afar, making it fly faster than three times the speed of sound?”

Jia Yan wore a face of disbelief, and more and more questions arose in his heart.

“Anyway, I can’t figure out the secret of the mysterious research institute without dealing with this creature, let alone gain any benefits from this place!

So now, let me think about how to deal with this creature?

Judging by its control over the metal piece before…

”

Meanwhile, the Giant Mosquito continued studying.

What it didn’t know was that his arrival at the research institute had caused quite a stir!

A report from the institute was being shared among the main personnel.

The report was about the repeated appearances of the Giant Mosquito species on Earth and the dangers they caused.

These incidents exhibited a trend of escalating severity each time a mosquito monster appears, every one larger than the last, its combat capabilities ever-evolving, each mosquito monster appearance a new form!

However, none of them ever expected that these differently-appearing mosquito monsters were actually the same one!

And the mosquito monster coming to their research institute this time should be the same one that fought with the metal monster in Fujian Province, south of Huaxia, not long ago.

But why this monster was in this place, and why it was fighting with a seemingly small black thing in the sky above the institute was something no one knew!

“My guess is this monster didn’t come to this place for no reason.

Perhaps it wanted to damage our research institute, but ran into that black thing on its way and started a battle.

Otherwise, how would you explain it coming all the way here?”

“I also think so, but we don’t have any solutions for this Giant Mosquito monster!

We can’t beat it, nor can we drive it away, what should we do, we surely can’t shut down and evacuate the entire institute because of a mosquito monster, can we?”

“I suggest we ask for help from related government departments first, then consider whether we could possibly capture this Giant Mosquito.

After all, it’s right before our eyes now, if we can’t seize such a great opportunity, our reputation as a relevant entity will be gone!”

Amid the discussions among these few people, a conclusion was finally reached regarding the Giant Mosquito monster.

They were planning to capture the Giant Mosquito for research purposes!

On the other hand, Jia Yan also made up his mind to continue his “peaceful visit” at this research institute for a while longer!

Who will have the last laugh is like the eight immortals crossing the sea, each displaying their own unique abilities!

As night fell once again, the Qinghai Lake in the night was glistening, the soft wind’s touch on the water surface was an entirely different charm from the daytime.

However, it was at this time, a monstrous behemoth, a Giant Mosquito Monster that had never featured in any of the local folklore, rose from this very area!

This is not just any monster from folklore, but the infamous Giant Mosquito Monster known across Huaxia and indeed, the whole world!

Local fishermen spotted the monster during the day.

However, despite reporting it, they received no response.

At this point in time, Huaxia was already worn out dealing with the Metal Monster.

The idea of another Giant Mosquito Monster was unimaginable.

Once the officials received this news they decided to let it slide!

Another request that came through from the same area was making everyone scratch their head.

Because it emerged from the Secret Research Institute near the Qinghai lake.

This institute had been providing the nation with a robust technological foundation.

Their core secrets were indeed the nation’s vast treasure!

In a way, this research institute was Huaxia’s ‘Area 51’.

But dealing with its request was proving to be a headache for them!

Because the unit’s request involved dealing with the Giant Mosquito Monster.

They rationalized that the monster could threaten the safety of their secret research facility!

Should they, or shouldn’t they deploy troops to deal with the Giant Mosquito?

This has left the higher-ups of the Huaxia National Army in a bind.

Their biggest concern was whether this Giant Mosquito Monster was part of an enormous swarm.

Dealing with one was relatively simple, but what if there were, as they feared, up to 100 of these monsters…

Though these measures are incomparable, some have claimed that a hundred of these are enough to match the strength of a million-strong Huaxia army!

It’s better to just directly accept defeat if it came to battling these monsters along with their other adversaries!

The military, unusually quiet for a while, responded to these scientists who only know to research.

Initially, they decided to wait and see if the Giant Mosquito Monster was genuinely a threat to the institute!

And then, this night…

A massive flying creature’s ‘shadow’ appeared on the Army radar hastily set up!

It was the Giant Mosquito Monster!

“Altitude one thousand, rapid approach!”

One by one, the combat personnel watched the screen nervously.

If the monster was indeed targeting the research institute, they had no other choice than to prepare for battle!

But how effective would the air defence weapons and equipment be against the terrifying creature, especially with less than five hundred soldiers on-site?

“Target closing in, target closing in.

Repeat, target closing in.

All units prepare for combat!”

Jia Yan in the high sky was also looking particularly solemn.

He had no choice but to stay still last night, missing his chance to strike.

Now, as he planned to face off with the mysterious creature within the institute, his heat detection ability revealed human warriors all around it!

It’s not surprising.

After all, how could the Huaxia Government let him wreak havoc on such an essential unit so easily!

“So these human warriors have no ultimate weapon.

They pose no threat to me!

Can you stop me?”

While Jia Yan’s compound eyes were stern, he was not genuinely worried about anything!

For him, a small number of human troops was hardly a formidable opponent anymore!

The Giant Mosquito was leisurely and slowly flying.

In fact, during this flight, Jia Yan was harnessing his power.

His ultimate adversary was none other than the creature or object that could emit strange sounds within the institute.

If he was in good shape today, then it would be the day he uncovers this secret!
