Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

It spans several countries and is a fantastic tourist destination.

The Qinghai-Tibet that many of our country’s travel enthusiasts refer to is generally located along the Qinghai-Tibet line.

The scenery here is exquisite, with vast skies and waters and rugged mountains whose peaks are often covered in snow all year round.

Because the scenery is so stunning, those who enjoy self-drive trips often travel back and forth here.

As dawn lightened the skies, the Big Mosquito finally arrived at this place, its massive body flapping.

Looking at the landscape below with its dark body, Jia Yan was filled with emotion.

As someone from the south, seeing the expansive grasslands is always unbelievably awe-inspiring!

The scenery in Qinghai-Tibet is indeed magnificent, with its clear blue skies, vast lands, and a kind of excellent air quality not found elsewhere.

The only downsides are the thin air and the relatively low temperatures.

These are not issues for

the Big Mosquito, so after it arrived, it spread its wings wide.

While the scenery is indeed beautiful, for Jia Yan now, even a bit of beautiful scenery cannot stop his stride.

This place holds the possibilities for his continued progress, so why would he halt for a bit of pretty scenery?

Maybe it was this kind of mindset that enabled Jia Yan to get where he is today.

He is not currently in a position to enjoy the beauty of nature.

The splendid views crafted by nature’s magic, the quaint, heartwarming scenes, and the varied marvelous places that continue to surprise – these were all things that he had dreamt of seeing while he was still a Little Mosquito.

But once he acquired the ability to see them, his mindset had already changed.

Just like children, they always dreamed of buying loads of candies to eat when they grew up.

But when they actually grow up and can easily fulfill that dream, hardly anyone does!

They justify it to themselves by saying they’re too old to eat candy anymore, comforting their desire to fulfill dreams.

But isn’t that, in a way, a kind of sorrow?

Jia Yan experienced similar feelings.

Back when he was a Little Mosquito, he had dreamt of freely exploring the world.

But when he finally could do so, higher mountains awaited him.

He did not have the time to stop and enjoy the scenery!

Such a life never comes to an end.

“The secret research lab is located near the Qinghai Lake.” Jia Yan’s Compound Eyes flickered.

His body moved in a direction!

For the Big Mosquito at this time, distance has become a very simple issue.

No matter where he goes in the world, it’s merely a matter of flapping his wings a few more times, a bit of time, and he’ll eventually get there.

The Big Mosquito’s body was slowly bathed in the golden morning sunlight, giving a feeling of warmth.

It was too cold before, which made Jia Yan feel a bit numb, but with the current sunshine, it relieved his coldness.

At this moment, he felt quite satisfied and comfortable.

Not long after, Jia Yan sighted a considerable lake!

Seeing the lake, he knew it was the spot he was looking for, as in all of Huaxia, there is only one lake of such a massive scale.

Yes, Qinghai Lake is the largest lake in Huaxia.

It stretches over a hundred kilometers in length and over sixty kilometers in breadth, the largest inland lake in Huaxia!

Jia Yan could see its substantial details from about two kilometers above it.

This lake resembled a small ocean and had an emerald-green color.

It was exceedingly beautiful!

However, he was not here in search of beautiful scenery.

After admiring the view for a bit, he descended towards the lower area.

“According to the information from those two assassins, the secret research institute is located somewhere diagonally across Qinghai Lake.

So, adhering to that, I will just find my way using the address!”

After pondering over the information he looked at yesterday, Jia Yan finally recalled the address, and his Compound Eyes lit up!

The place he is at now is not very far from the so-called secret research institute!

Jia Yan flapped his wings and headed downwards.

The sun rose higher and higher.

In this plateau region, the threat of ultraviolet rays is even more potent, causing people living here for a long time to have red cheeks.

Besides, the area is very windy, which often results in dry skin.

As such, one must pay a price to see exceptional views.

Of course, the personnel of the research establishment weren’t there to enjoy the view.

So when Jia Yan saw a not too carefully hidden group of structures, his Compound Eyes lit up!

That place was the structure shown in the photos that the two assassins had given him!

Although it looked like a simple factory, the doors were tightly closed.

Secretive and well-armed guards were inside.

Observing from above, he saw high-end equipment, suggesting that it certainly wasn’t just a factory!

Jia Yan’s Compound Eyes flickered slightly.

That place obviously wasn’t easy to infiltrate.

Jia Yan considered how he might explore it.

The two assassins had previously operated in this place, so it was bound to be tightly defended.

Even if it wasn’t, Jia Yan doubted whether his now immense physique could infiltrate as stealthily as he could in his mosquito days.

Hovering about 500 meters above the building, Jia Yan conducted a thorough observation.

It was still early, with few humans active below and even fewer looking up.

Hence, he completed a full circle, remaining unnoticed by anyone.

“First, find a secluded place to rest, and then consider how to infiltrate and retrieve information!”

The luminescence in Jia Yan’s compound eyes flickered as he vanished above the secret location marked on the material.

Precisely when Jia Yan was in this oasis of peace, the Huaxia Government sent out a layer upon layer of urgent orders.

The content of the order was downright shocking – Huaxia’s never-before-seen nuclear weapon depot was finally ready to bare its fearsome Rzanine teeth to the world!

At this moment, all major nuclear nations globally started revealing preparation for using nuclear weapons against the Metal Monster!

All of a sudden, the entire Earth was in an uproar.

Everyone knew that the use of nuclear weapons marked a chaotic era for the Earth World, and the resulting impact would be enormous.

How will ecological problems be handled if all these countries use nuclear weapons to eliminate the Metal Monster?

Aren’t there other types of weapons to choose from?

Why resort to such an extreme method of attack as nuclear?

The Earth World isn’t in a dangerous situation yet, so why is nuclear force being mobilized now?

The public and media were flooded with countless questions, but they received no comment when attempting to interview government officials.

The issue was so significant that civilian groups in some countries began gathering immediately to protest outside local government offices, triggering violent incidents.

Now it was a test of which country would act impetuously, resorting to nuclear attack on the Metal Monster first, making themselves a target for criticism and triggering a series of problems.

The external strife and controversy had no impact on Big Mosquito’s rest.

After locating the secret research institute according to the coordinates provided by the two assassins, he had headed to a nearby area densely covered with bushes to rest.

His plan was to act at night.

His massive body would, without doubt, be noticed if he brazenly approached during the day.

Although Jia Yan wasn’t afraid of being detected by humans, if the institute’s personnel destroyed valuable data or something useful to him, his trip would be a waste.

Thus, he hoped to remain unnoticed by the institute’s personnel as much as possible.

But how could he do this with his massive body?

With this dilemma, Jia Yan settled down to rest in the bushes.

He hadn’t eaten since his mutation in the ocean, yet he didn’t feel extremely hungry.

When seeing animals and thinking about blood-sucking, he felt a slight sense of repulsion.

He felt that although he could reluctantly feed on blood to sustain himself, there was some physiological resistance as if it wasn’t a delicacy but a hard-to-swallow food.

His body didn’t seem to use the blood of animals to replenish his energy.

Instead, his energy seemed to come from residual energy stored in his body during the mutation.

Therefore, he currently didn’t need to feed.

Jia Yan wondered if his body could become one that needed to eat only after a long period.

That would be more convenient – one meal could last for a long time.

It seemed to follow the ancient Huaxia practice of ‘bigu’ (abstaining from grains).

As Jia Yan was lost in such thoughts, time slowly passed by.

Finally, the sun began to set, the temperature dropped, and a slight chill in the air made him shiver involuntarily.

It looked set to be a moonless night.

Jia Yan was lying in the bushes, looking up at the bleak night sky.

The scene tonight was quite eerie.

For some unknown reason, Jia Yan felt that tonight might not be an ordinary night.

This mysterious feeling was transient, but this thought was very strong tonight.

It was suppressing him and making him feel somewhat breathless!

Anyway, he was not feeling good!

Jia Yan mocked himself for being like an Immortal forecasting the future, having a sixth sense.

What a joke!

Jia Yan stopped mulling over these thoughts, rising from his hiding spot.
