The news of the giant mosquitoes, waging war against the metallic monsters in the south, has been passed from survivor to survivor until it has completely fermented in Shanghai City and other cities!

Although Jia Yan himself thought that he had only killed less than a hundred of the metal monsters, the news of the battle between the monster mosquitoes and the metal monsters still gave humans a glimmer of hope!

Some media outlets began to run headlines like, ‘Will the giant mosquito race engage in a great war with the metal monster race!?’.

They were fantasizing that if the metal monsters and giant mosquitoes were to wage an interspecies war, with the power levels of individual giant mosquito monsters, only a hundred of such mosquitoes would be needed to completely change the face of the entire war!

While humans sat back and watched the two duke it out, there was a possibility not only of regaining lost territories but also of eliminating the metallic monsters entirely!

As for the giant mosquito monsters, it’s hard to determine whether this species is friendly.

They seem friendly, having saved many humans, but they’ve also been responsible for human casualties on several occasions.

As a result, whether the giant mosquitoes are friendly or not is up for debate in the media, and the articles that were originally very hostile towards the giant mosquitoes seemed to disappear overnight!

Some higher-ups seem to see the potential for cooperation with the giant mosquito species!

As for these few alien species that appeared suddenly in the Earth world, humans gradually formed a fixed view: despite their seemingly limited communication abilities, these species are highly intelligent.

Look at the metal monsters, constructing so many giant buildings in the places they occupy, with structures that can fire powerful lasers.

Therefore, it is impossible to say they lack intelligence, or that there isn’t a highly intelligent being behind them.

As for the giant mosquito monsters, this species’s intelligence is also beyond doubt, given his exploits online.

However, some non-mainstream views suggest that there has only ever been one giant mosquito monster, and its rapid rate of mutation and evolution is terrifying, leading humans to mistake it for a whole species.

The group supporting this view is a minority, but among them are some highly persuasive characters – the two university students who first discovered the giant mosquito species.

Their evidence is quite simple: there has never been more than one giant mosquito monster seen at a time!

And each monster is bigger than the last – doesn’t that speak volumes?

Despite this argument about the giant mosquito, no one agreed, but these people refused to give up their point of view and kept searching for clues in the shadows.

Meanwhile, as Jia Yan was fighting on the outskirts of the city, two young men and women arrived outside the residences of two assassins in Shanghai City.

The pair were assessing the small building in front of them.

Above, the two assassins stood by the window, watching the two young men and women below.

The bearded man shook his head helplessly.

The young girl had previously claimed that she wanted to learn more about the big mosquito.

So when the two individuals identified themselves as mosquito enthusiasts, he agreed to meet them.

However, she had already promised the two assassins that she wouldn’t reveal the truth about a certain battle.

If word got out that the giant mosquito had killed people to save her, that could escalate matters.

Even government authorities might start looking for them.

“These two are said to be the first witnesses of the giant mosquito, and they still insist that there’s only one giant mosquito.

They have quite a few followers online.

What’s noteworthy is that the man supposedly has been honing his combat skills over the past few months and is gaining recognition from many combat experts.”

The young man with the glasses shared the pair’s background information in a dismissive tone.

He greatly despised the young college student’s socalled combat skills.

After all, they themselves were the real combat experts.

The idea that someone who had trained for just a few months could compare with their battle-hardened experience was ludicrous.

“They allegedly found Sister Xiaoqi’s cellphone, but I doubt that’s true.

Regardless of how they got the phone, their intention to extract information from Jenna is blatantly obvious.

I fear the young lady won’t be able to resist their persuasion and might spill the beans!”

“So what?

At worst, there will just be two more corpses lying on the street.

Isn’t it very normal for there to be a sudden appearance of corpses during this time?” The bearded man watched the man and woman enter the small building below, his face filled with contempt.

The young men and women in question were indeed Ye Tongyu and Zhang Shiming!

After obtaining that hooligan’s phone from Dongguan Road, they dialed each and every female name listed in it!

They used a different number to call, and once the call was answered, they directly mentioned the incident of the giant mosquito attack.

If the person on the other end was clueless, they would hang up and call the next one!

Finally, the call reached Jia Lin!

When the little girl stuttered about the incident that day, they immediately had a strong feeling that the girl on the other end of the phone was definitely connected to this incident.

Perhaps the attack of the giant mosquito on humans had something to do with her!

Entering the small building, Jia Lin was already waiting to greet them downstairs.

“My family won’t let me go out.

I’m sorry, come upstairs for a cup of tea,” said Jia Lin as soon as she saw them.

“All right.”

The two exchanged a glance and followed the extremely attractive and adorable girl into this seemingly ordinary small building.

On the third floor, they took their seats.

“Little Lin, right?

I want to ask you a few questions.

I heard from the witnesses from Dongguan Road, that you were being chased by the deceased when you were there.

Where were you when the giant mosquito was attacking them?”

Ye Tongyu didn’t wait to settle down before going straight to the point.

As a girl determined to become a reporter, she always had the upper hand in conversation!

Jia Lin was taken aback.

She invited them over to provide some information about the giant mosquito and get back Sister Xiaoqi’s phone, but she didn’t expect them to inquire about the incident that day first!

However, she had already discussed it with the two assassins that day.

If anyone asked about the incident, she had her own version of the story.

“It was like this.

I was there that day to meet the owner of the phone you found.

Then those people started chasing me.

Just before the giant mosquito attacked them, I was indeed being chased by them!”

“But my two downstairs neighbors happened to be on that road.

They helped me lead those men away, and only then were they attacked by the giant mosquito.

I didn’t witness that scene!” Jia Lin said.

“Is that so?

Can you share your impressions of the giant mosquito?” Ye Tongyu continued to ask.

“The giant mosquito?

I think it’s a good monster!

It has saved so many people!” The young girl’s eyes lit up when she mentioned the giant mosquito!

Ye Tongyu and Zhang Shiming exchanged a glance.

They both noticed that when this little girl referred to the giant mosquito, she didn’t use ‘they’ but used ‘he’, and also used phrases like ‘this is a’ to describe it.

The two kept their composure and continued conversing with the little girl.

Gradually, the conversation became more open.

Not much later, after discussing some other matters, the pair made their excuses and left.

Jia Lin escorted them all the way downstairs before excitedly returning upstairs.

At this time, the two assassins behind the third floor window were using surveillance equipment to watch Jia Lin chatting with the two young university students.

They were both a little speechless.

To them, the questioning abilities of the two university students were just ordinary, but the little girl was too naive.

She seemed to have inadvertently given away a lot of information.

“You go tell little Jenna to be careful when talking to people.

I’m going to go and have a ‘chat’ with those two young men.” Bearded shook his head helplessly and headed downstairs.
